    Beautiful park but overly crowded.

Beautiful park. I've been coming here since before the renovations for walks & jogs. However, since the renovation + addition of the new playground it is EXTREMELY busy especially on nice days. The past few times I've gone it seems like there's somehow more adults than children in the playground area. It's too crowded for my liking especially when parking seems impossible- either no parking stalls or the stalls are too tight. Since my kid loves the play ground I will only plan to come on weekdays or when it is not overly crowded.

This is an ideal spot for a leisurely walk after dining in the area. The park is very clean and well-maintained, with a wide, easily accessible walking path. There are plenty of benches for relaxing, people-watching, enjoying the scenery, or observing the ducks. Free parking is available both on the street and in a dedicated lot.

A clean and well-maintained park in downtown Bellevue, WA which provides a respite for tired travelers who stay in the nearby hotels. There are a number of locals too who live in the condos and apartments nearby. There is a striking structure made of aluminum called Piloti and this serves as the entrance to the park. The park is huge with many parts to it. There is a waterfall that cascades into a reflecting pond, a tree-lined promenade, playgrounds, and picnic areas. While in the park one gets different angles of the Bellevue skyline and Mount Rainier on a clear day. When in Bellevue, go for a stroll here or just sit and take a moment to rest.

All these years I've never stepped foot in this park until today. What a beautiful urban space in proximity to many restaurants, shops and the mall. So many people, families, kids and pets were out enjoying the space. There are many benches, grassy area and tree shades. The playground was huge and looked so fun, even for me, haha. There is plenty of parking. On a busy sunny Sunday like today, people were coming and going so parking wasn't as daunting as it appeared. Great views of downtown Bellevue as well. I plan to stop by here more often now. I stopped by a grocery store to pick up food for a picnic, but with so many amazing food places around, just order to-go and enjoy it at the park!

Wow this is one of the more amazing small urban parks I've ever been to, especially for people with children. The park itself is not huge, only about one square block. However, it really packs a punch. The playground is amazing; there is nearly everything a child could want, from slides and swings, to imaginative play areas, to a small splash pad. There's also shade for parents to sit in. The main park area is very relaxing, with a water feature including a waterfall, LOTS of benches to sit on, and a circular path around the park. My one critique is that they could have made the circular walking path more level; it's hard to use it to run, and people who are less steady or handicapped might find it difficult to walk all the way around. There's a lots of restaurants and coffee shops to grab a coffee or picnic lunch at to have here. All in all, a great park!

Terrific park in the downtown Bellevue district. Within walking distance to nearby restaurants and shops, this is a great example of thoughtful public shared spaces, enjoyable by young and old alike. The park is laid out like a rectangle with a circular Infinity Fountain in the middle, which consists of a 240ft long small man-made waterfall and circular pond and canal. The park is bordered by NE 1st Street on the north, NE 4th Street on the south, 100th Ave NE on the west and Bellevue Way NE on the east. Access possible from entrances on each street, with parking lots on west and south sides, though you can find street parking close by in most directions as well. The southwest corner of the park is dedicated to children with areas for both toddlers and a playground for older children. Plenty of children and parents putting the facilities to good use when I came by on a Sunday afternoon. This is a popular spot to watch July 4th fireworks and summer movies in the park on Tuesday evenings (July-Aug 2024). Park hours are 30 min prior to sunrise to 11pm. According to their website there is WiFi available though I didn't try to connect while I was there.

A huge park to walk , have your own picnic, play with views of Bellevue downtown buildings. Good playground for kids. However, getting a parking spot especially during evenings or weekends is not going to be easy. The restroom facilities are not easily available either.

Went for a peaceful walk. Lots of other people taking casual strolls here, felt very safe. Beautiful view of the lighted buildings at night.

A gorgeous park with loads of awesome water features. A beautiful huge lawn with tons of space for picnics, a walk, and or anything outside you'd like to do. A playground for the kiddos looked really fun and inviting if you have kids. I stayed away from that part of the park and explored the perimeter. The path surrounding the park was dirt and gravel. The water features are lovely. Infinity pools, waterfall style, even one that flows down steps alongside the path. Benches and seats are available for seating. If you prefer the grass I suggest a blanket. The weather is currently lovely to come to this park. Two parking lots for the park are on the side of the park closest to Main Street. Street parking is two hours. Enjoy nature before winter comes back. Cheers and happy yelping.

Such a lovely park! I love coming here with my kids and dogs. They also have a large grass area which is perfect for my dogs to roam around.

My friend and I visited on a Friday around 2 PM, and there were a few spots open, so getting in was really easy. I loved how simple everything was to navigate, there's even a map available when you enter. Entry and parking are both completely free, which is a huge plus. We walked along the trail and I'd recommend spending about 2-3 hours here if you want to take your time and fully enjoy it. We had to speed-run our visit because we had another errand afterward, but it was still incredibly beautiful. I highly recommend stopping by the bridge, it was very therapeutic and relaxing to walk across. There are plenty of benches and seating areas along the way, perfect for taking breaks or just soaking in nature. The quality of the space is amazing, with a wide variety of rocks, trees, and scenery that make the whole experience feel peaceful. There are also bathrooms located at the front, and you're never too far from other people, which made it feel comfortable and safe. Overall, I definitely recommend stopping by this place.

We discovered this place on accident, and have returned so many times that I've lost count. Most of the time it's not crowded, but the summer is busy with families swimming at the beach, picnicking with kids, and couples enjoying the warm sun and numerous lookout points. The surrounding trails are a fun escape and easy to find. They have benches scattered throughout so if you want to sit and relax to soak in the sun's rays, you can do that too. Most aren't strenuous or long, perfect for a casual stroll. Above the beach area is a good-sized lawn area that gives a birds eye view of the Lake, and designed for a picnic. Pre-COVID, this spot had to be reserved and there are posted placards with instructions on how to do so. Since then, that has been banned. Parking is plentiful, though gets a bit tougher to find when the weather is nice. If you need ADA accessible parking, there are a small number of spots on the lower side of the park. You will need to hang a left off 98th that leads you to a small entrance so keep an eye out for that. Restrooms are clean, plenty of picnic tables for social distancing, and my perfect hideout to enjoy the quiet in the city. Highly recommend paying a visit, but be respectful of surrounding neighbors as this is a private residential area as well.
