Overall a really nice, big park with many elements. They have a large dog park, big fields (turf and grass), and various buildings and areas for events. Only complaints are that more bathrooms would be appreciated, the dog park could use updated ground cover as a lot of it is pretty much just dirt that gets muddy when it's wet, and (as with most parks) it could use a bit more parking. read more

Robinswood Park is a solid park in Bellevue, right off of 148th and is near I-90. There are plenty of amenities at this park, with much to offer, and is spacious for walking around and other activities. At Robinswood Park there's something for everyone here. There are multiple soccer fields that sports leagues use, two off-leash dog parks, with one area for small, shy dogs, playgrounds, a lodge/community center that you can rent out for private events, etc. Parking doesn't seem to be an issue here, with multiple parking lots on different sides/entrances to the park. No matter the purpose of why I visit Robinswood Park, it's always a good time spent outside. I recommend checking out this park if you're looking for a large space to run and walk outside with the dogs, play soccer, etc. With its easy access and amenities, it's worth a visit. read more

This is a good spot to take your dog! A large open area, mostly made up of gravel and bark. There are lots of shady trees for those sunny days. A few benches, as picnic table, water for dogs, trash cans and poop bags. The only negative thing is the busy road, you do hear the car zooming by, but I don't think the dogs mind! A lovely setting with two, separate (but close) playgrounds designed specifically for various age ranges. Benches along the walkway provide for leisurely spots under the shade of trees where parents and caregivers can take a seat and watch their littles. A large soccer field, another field for running and other such activities are easily accessible from the playgrounds. Picnic tables/benches are also available for your food needs. The parking lot is located directly adjacent to the playground and field, making for easy transport of children and supplies. What happened to the few grass and woodchips? Now it is all gravel :( I guess it is low maintenance but now that joyful to dog paws. It is getting warmer and dryer. Even when it is super nice having bowls of water that make dogs kinda play with water haha. Only the back remains a bit colder. It was an awesome day today and I decided to find my way to Robinswood park for a walk. This park has a bit of everything, beautiful open grass fields, a pond, play equipment, soccer , baseball fields. picnic areas. It also has a off leash dog coral as well as great trails in the woods for wallking. Note for parents with small kids, the bathrooms in this park are clear across the park by the sports field....don't wait too long to get there, it takes a few minutes. Parking is available by the sports fields are off of 148th. read more

This is a review for the soccer fields. I have played on both fields in all types of weather and both are great. The drainage for the fields is very effective and there is never any water buildup even if it is raining when we play. A restroom is located next to the fields as well as water fountains. My only issue is that there are only two soccer fields at this park which makes it challenging to get a field if you are looking to play pickup. These artificial fields also seem to use infill made from recycled tires which contain many toxic substances. If you shower after you play, it shouldn't be a big deal but still some city parks have actually replaced their artificial fields with the non-toxic infill. The people who go to the park seem to be pleasant and I have never witnessed any fights. read more

Nice space for walking, basketball near the dog park, a secondary small dog park, duck pond, and plenty of grassy fields to throw a frisbee or whatever. There's a paved walking area around the soccer fields and gravel trail around the Duck pond. Nice picnic tables and several play areas too. Bathrooms, water fountains, good parking on site. Watch out because I stupidly left my purse in the back seat here a few years ago and my car got broken into. The police officer said that this is a stop, as well as trails and community centers, that a ring of people hade on route to prowl the cars. Also, I've heard that you shouldn't go here at night. Daytime it's totally safe. I admit, as I was walking the south side of the duck pond and it was empty in that area during broad daylight I got the creeps (wooded area to the south) but nothing happened, I was perfectly fine. read more

Yay for any park with a dog park! The dog park part of the park is quite small, but the park itself is pretty big and nice to take your dog to walk around. There's free poppy bags here so no reason for anybody to NOT pick up their dog's poop, hahaha. There's a soccer field, baseball field, plenty of walking area, and a playground. The best part is that not too many people know about this hidden gem in Eastgate for it to get too crowded. This is a beautiful park that I visit a couple of times per year (usually to run an annual 3 mile trail race!). There are soccer fields, a playground, lots of forest trails, a pond, and a ton more. The park is really well maintained and quite lovely. There is tons of parking, clean (enough) public restrooms, and lots of benches. It's very family friendly as well. I spend most of my time on the trails since I'm usually running the trail race. It's nice and shaded and the path is just a bit hilly but easy to traverse. Overall this is a pretty great park and - as someone who doesn't visit Bellevue often - a gem not too far off of I-90. read more

Our family loves this park! From the trails to the dog parks and even the playground this park has it all! The sports (turf) fields and the baseball diamonds add to the crowds that come here looking for a beautiful afternoon. I wish there was more parking available but with just about everything in Bellevue, parking is a hot commodity, peak hours are as expected such as weekends, any sign of sunshine and when sporting events are taking place. man i love this park. i love it for the awesome off leash corral, but more than that, I LOVE the trails. Bellevue parks has done this amazing job of connecting trails all around bellevue. it's really quite an accomplishment. When my dogs get done with the corral (they get bored way too fast and don't really care to play with other dogs, sadly), i just book it over to the trails where i can walk them in circles for hours without them getting bored...well the cavalier gets resentful about all the exercise, but he's obese-all he really wants to do is walk 10 minutes then sleep...then eat more than he really should. it's really well laid out and it's a nice mini touch of nature with just enough roadway to remind you you could escape this journey and get back to bellevue "city life" asap should you feel so inclined...you can't buy such a thing on a freakin 5 hour hike read more

I love this park especially due to it's being walking distance from my house, but its popularity is easily attested to by how busy it gets on weekends and holidays. 4 semi-artificial fields serve multiple duties for flag football, soccer, ultimate frisbee, and other organized sports. Also features a baseball diamond, tennis courts, a nice playground, 2 dog parks (at least one is off leash), and 2 more fields that are good for just about any other activity (they are not perfectly level or painted.) Trails connect this park to even more parks, making is part of the greater Bellevue area trail system. 4.6 stars! read more

The park is not huge so you can walk through the park and the trails in the woods within an hour or so. Like Sarah, you can walk through the woods for a long time without boring your dog(s). My dog was just happy to go for a walk and smell many different things. There are squirrels in the area, luckily for the squirrels, my dog was on leash. The signage on the trails were very clear. There are garbage cans throughout the park to throw out those poop bags. I can see people bringing their kids to the playground (obviously), for a walk through the park, play tennis, watch the horses, see the ducks in the pond, etc. I can see this as a nice family gathering to spend time together. read more

an "everything" park that is perfect for families of all kinda. There is a huge grassy field perfect for picnics and family games of baseball. There is a duck pond hidden by bushes and grass, with a lovely gravel walking path around it. There are two main playground areas, one for young toddlers and children that is well fenced in, and a more open play structure with slides and monkey bars etc. next to a set of decent swings. There are a number of fields that are well lit at night and used for a wide variety of sports, as well as a small baseball diamond next to public restrooms. Not to mention the off leash dog corral a few trees over! I grew up riding my bike around Robinswood and playing rec soccer on the fields. Definitely recommend. read more

Growing up I went to pre-school in the barn and summer camps on the fields. It is a great park still - large and well kept. The only problem is that parking can be an issue, especially if you have an event on one end of the park, opposite from the parking area. It is close to the freeway, BC, and Crossroads. read more

An okay dog park. Isn't much there compared to the dog park at luther burbank. Nice that there is a covered area to stand under if the weather is crappy. They do not supply dog poo bags, but there is a leave a bag/take a bag bin. I try to leave a few bags. For the most part people do a decent job of cleaning up. read more

My favorite Soccer Park. Lot's of regulars walk the park frequently. Only issue is that this nice park attracts car prowlers so lock up and hide your gear. I have never experienced a break-in but just be smart. read more

Beware of the unleashed dogs in children's play area! This is not an off-leash park (there is a separate fenced area for off-leash), however, there are some irresponsible dog owners who set their scary 3-4ft. dogs free in children's play structure. Why am I freaking out about this? I have seen a 5 year old girl running for life with a bike when chased by a big hunting dog. It feels like a horror movie scene but the dog owner did not even apologize for that to the girl and her mom. There are a lot of good owners, of course. However, a few careless owners can easily endanger the lives of many kids and adults. Many of the dogs who killed their owners, friends, a toddler in the neighborhood yard did not even show any signs of aggressiveness before the attack so it is hard to predict their behaviors. That includes a small dog who bite me and threatens my daughter on the street with no previous signs of aggressiveness. Sadly, the owners are not punished as long as they follow the guideline even if their dogs kill other innoncent kids. This is not a general dog complain though. I don't know what intrigues the dog owners so much to leave their dogs unleashed in childrens' play area in this park when there is a big lawn and other places. Lack of signs that strongly prohibit the dogs in childrens' play area is a major reason I cannot give a favorable review for this park. Maybe this is the reason I don't see many small children in this park despite its large number of structures. Given the unexpected aggressiveness of some of the dogs (today's headline shows another victim killed by her own rescue dogs), I think there should be parks without dogs so the families who are afraid of dogs can play safely without worrying too much. Strong sign on the childrens' playground that says no dogs or at least on leash must signs should be there at the minimum. I would not even go for discussing the viruses and bacteria due to the dirty shits on the childrens' playground by the dogs. They exist on the sands where toddlers play with because of irresponsible owners. That is disgusting to think how negatively it affects to small children. We put Clorox on the table every hour but we let dogs' shit around in children's play area. Aside from that, they have nice two playgrounds side by side with pretty large play structures that are suitable for the age of 1-10 years. Soccer field is available quite often as well. There is a big lawn right beside the playground. Parking lot is small but usually have some available spaces. read more

Robins wood park is a pretty large park, filled with wild life, a toddler and kids play area, soccer field and a baseball field. Not to mention the huge pond in the center of the park, trails everywhere and around the wooded area, dog parks both in the front and back & a community house for events like weddings! And there are a ton of weddings here! What more could you ask for in a park? Since i grew up here, I've seen how much the park has grown! There are two soccer fields that are very well lit at night. Tons of kids play here as well as adults throughout all the seasons! Its a pretty lively park for sports fans. The field is almost always in use. Even at night. I see some people getting in extra practice. The other sports area's are the baseball field right next to the soccer field and the basketball court which is almost never used and is tucked away in the back where no one goes. The dog parks here are very big. Since there are two, let me tell you how well kept they are and what to expect. The one in the front of the park by the road is the main dog area. Its mainly used for the bigger dogs and was recently remodeled. Its a off leash dog area that is very well secured and owners are very friendly. There are rules you must follow however so read up before you bring your dog here. The other dog area is in the back and is used for smaller breeds. This use to be a horse training area before it was turned over into a dog area. It hasn't been well kept and is very tucked away in the back but if you want to let your dog run free without anyone around, this is the perfect spot. Especially for dogs who are scared of other dogs. There are groups of people who bring their dogs on specific days so you might catch them sometimes. There are two parking lots which honestly are way too small for the amount of people that come into this park and how big in total the park is! There needs to be a remodel of the parking area since this is my only concern, as the parking gets full often. Especially when all the soccer moms take up the entire parking area when a game is going! For the kids, there are two areas. One a toddler area and the other for bigger kids. This park has always had both play areas but the toddler area was updated in the last 5 years or so. The kids area isn't too big but there are swings here that are so much fun & i've had my birthday here 4 years in a row. Its a great place! There are many trails here at robinswood. The main trail is around the pond that lies in the center of the park. The pond itself is gorgeous with tons of different ducks, turtles and otters. I'm not so sure how otters got there but i saw one and took a picture of it. There are also frogs and bunnies here and there are rats as well. Its nature, you are bound to have rats living peacefully in nature without being around busy areas. The problem however with the pound is that the park doesn't maintain it well. So spots around the pond where you can sit and look out at the water are fully grown over with vegetation. Leaving nothing to look at. In some area's there is sludge and trash in the water. The park needs to fix this! Otherwise i love it. The other trail runs through the thick forest in the back and is a great spot to get out of the sun or to take pictures. The noise is pretty bad from the street so keep traveling further back & you will find it quite relaxing. This park is a perfect family/sports park for everyone! Take your dog here, they will love it! Wanna take some photos? Its a good spot to! Want to throw the Frisbee around, you can with the huge grassy area over by the pond! Its really quite lovely here, expect for parking! Otherwise i wouldn't change a thing. read more

There is a shiba inu meetup group here monthly approximately on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Note there are two dog corrals, one near the playground which is a bit larger and a smaller enclosed one near the tennis court where the shibas meet up. Overall I think it is a lovely quintessential neighborhood park. I've been there when it's super empty and serenely quiet and recently super busy with kids all over the playground, organized sports teams on the field, tons of folks playing tennis, and animals walking to and fro the pathways. Coming from Tacoma, it is a bit of a drive but well worth it especially once my doggie gets all his energy out and passes out in the car on the way home. read more

This park is Bellevue's best kept secret. There is something for everyone here and the park is so well maintained. The park is always bustling with kids, families and pets. They have great bathroom facilities and both the playgrounds are just a hoot for the kids with lots of play structures. This is one of family's favorite parks. We go here several times a week to exercise and enjoy the outdoors. We did have a very negative experience when a young male teenager assaulted my twelve year old daughter and stole her brand new skateboard from her before he could be caught. Please be aware that while you may feel safe in this Bellevue Park, there are predators there and stealing property out of the hands of a young impressionable victim happened there in broad daylight on a Sunday afternoon in September 2014. read more

At approximately 7p tonight, on a beautiful spring sunny evening, we took our 3 mutts to the park along with pur 5 month old. When we got back from the dog park to a roughly half full lot, our drivers side back door was smashed in. The only thing that was stolen was our son's diaper bag. The only real thing of value was the wrist band they gave my husband at the hospital when he was born. I'm hoping someone in the Robinswood Park community sees this and our Dadgear diaper back pack and might be able to return the wristband in time for dad's first father's day. read more

Great park with so many different great areas: Love the playground area, which includes one of the few real teeter totters (see saws) I know of on the Eastside plus lots of other good play equipment. If you've got a little one, you'll appreciate the toddler half of the playground which is somewhat separated from the big kids' area. There's also lots of sports fields (so parking can be a challenge on Saturdays), off-leash dog area, a duck pond, and a really nice hike through the woods. I teach a STEM enrichment preschool class on Saturdays (Family Inventors Lab through Bellevue College Parent Ed) and we meet at Robinswood once a month for our "nature curriculum" where I teach kids about native plants, following trail map directions, insects, and more. The woods offer a great venue for that. read more
