It's a gem that's worth finding and frequenting as this park offers a serene trail and green space for enjoying. I visited Lewis Creek Park with a group and this was such a nice visit, especially since we were getting a ranger-led tour that I highly recommend all Bellevue residents do at least once! Located in the Lakemont area, Lewis Creek Park is mostly surrounded by residences and trees. The park offers a covered picnic shelter, visitor's center to learn more about the park, playground, water fountain, bathroom and a mile-long trail that's worth exploring. When I visited, our group had lunch here and then we went on the loop trail, which was a great way to learn about the flora and fauna of the area. The trail is mostly flat and is easy. However, I would recommend on rainy days to wear shoes with traction to avoid slipping on the hill. But it's an easy stroll through the woods where you can see plants, trees, and possibly animals, like the coyotes that frequent this area. If you're looking for a park in Bellevue that's not busy and is hidden, I recommend Lewis Creek Park as it's a spacious area for you to enjoy with amenities to make your stay comfortable.

Lots of parking, walking trails and wide paths perfect for biking, jogging and strolling. Always be mindful of what you leave in your car as it can be hard to see the cars from the beach.

Seeing all the other kids playing too encourages him to explore. This area is all soft play structures with a PNW theme of different types of boats. It can get a little crowded and it's open to all ages so the bigger kids we watch out for but overall my son's always been safe and happy here. Every time we're in the area we stop by!

So glad we came to the mall not only for some shopping but for this awesome play area. It is very well organized with the shoe cubbies and it seemed like everyone respected the no shoes rules. Kids running amok but while we were there everyone was having fun and with the materials it seems like it would be difficult for them to get hurt. It helps that there is the little cafe right next to it for the parents. Our daughter had a blast here and it was a struggle to get her to leave.

They have reserved picnic spaces but also lots of spaces where you can simply claim to use the day of your gathering. The bathrooms were not the cleanest nor was the lake water as my son left with a stomach bug the next day. The parking lot is a bit of a hike to get to the lake and picnic areas. I highly recommend using a wagon to transport food and drinks. Or you can have somebody pull up in the handicapped parking loop to drop off party supplies.

The playground although 2 small structures is great as theres a rock climbing wall and lots of swings for baby and big kiddos. Theres plenty of space to sit around playground too. Benches and cement large steps. Also not as crowded as lewis creek park during prime weekend hours but still in safe lakemont neighborhood. Although its not as shiny as the bellevue downtown park and The tennis courts could be a bit better maintained and the benches could use some cleanup -- it still is a good fun fill afternoon with a toddler plus walking distance to grab teriyaki or soft serve from store afterwards. Have frequented many times and the park-goers are well behaved. You see Kids riding bikes around with parents or a competitive tennis match in the court ( almost in the parking lot - cant miss it) or someone taking a jog with their dog. Playground tends to be younger kids and parents. Not so many past age 6 at least when i've gone. I also have found it to be pretty quiet and you're surrounded by trees -no busy street traffic. Great place for a picnic too!
