    Elevator in use

What a hidden gem! Never knew this even existed. I guess it had a renovation and opened new in June 2019? Super safe. Quiet. Good for learning to ride bike. (Nice big wide circle to ride around. Next time we're totally bringing the bike and scooter) Bathrooms. Plenty of parking. Swings. 2 covered areas, and plenty table spots and grassy open areas to throw down a blanket and picnic. Toddler area is on the small side. But its so close to the bigger kid area youd be able to watch both for multiple kiddos. Families were all so friendly and respectful. All kids took turns on zipline and were cheering each other on. Basketball court was empty and there was so much space going unused on a sunny day. I wonder if eventually this park gets more crowded once light rail opens up as it looks like its next to a future stop. My son is almost 5 and this park was great for tiring him out because he was using a lot of strength to climb. You have to climb up a web in order to use the elevator play equipment. We then went to azteca down the road for lunch. We will be back!

This is a lovely, spacious park with new unique equipment tucked away in a residential Bellevue..... The layout is FUN and very spacious - a dedicated toddler zone, lots of climbing structures, a zipline.... and a circuit for walking/biking/scooting. Two picnic shelters and a toilet block. The only downside is that the parking lot seems small given the capacity of the park. Please clean up after parties! On one visit, there were popped balloons ALL over one of the picnic shelters - this is so unhealthy for birds and animals!

Hidden gem near downtown Bellevue. Peek a boo view of Mt Rainier. Ample space for kids to play-both toddlers and big kids. Great place to learn biking. There's a parking lot but it's limited, especially on busy days. Great place to go walking - rain or shine !

    Young children's play area.

I highly recommend parking in the Macy's garage or any of the garages near Nordstrom, as they're only about a five-minute walk and super convenient. Parking is free and generally easy to find, though the structures can sometimes close when they're completely full. Even then, there are plenty of other garages nearby that are still within a short and easy walking distance. I absolutely love downtown Bellevue, it's one of my favorite places to visit because of the great food, drinks, and overall atmosphere. Bellevue Downtown Park is amazing for so many reasons. The grass is very well maintained, making it perfect for picnics or a relaxing walk. There's a beautiful fountain, small ponds throughout the park, and you'll often see ducks swimming around (though probably not during the colder season). In the winter, there's an ice rink, and during the summer it's especially lively with events like food festivals and farmers markets. I would definitely recommend stopping by Bellevue Downtown Park, especially if you have some downtime before a reservation, it's a perfect spot to walk around and enjoy the area.

My friend and I visited on a Friday around 2 PM, and there were a few spots open, so getting in was really easy. I loved how simple everything was to navigate, there's even a map available when you enter. Entry and parking are both completely free, which is a huge plus. We walked along the trail and I'd recommend spending about 2-3 hours here if you want to take your time and fully enjoy it. We had to speed-run our visit because we had another errand afterward, but it was still incredibly beautiful. I highly recommend stopping by the bridge, it was very therapeutic and relaxing to walk across. There are plenty of benches and seating areas along the way, perfect for taking breaks or just soaking in nature. The quality of the space is amazing, with a wide variety of rocks, trees, and scenery that make the whole experience feel peaceful. There are also bathrooms located at the front, and you're never too far from other people, which made it feel comfortable and safe. Overall, I definitely recommend stopping by this place.

We discovered this place on accident, and have returned so many times that I've lost count. Most of the time it's not crowded, but the summer is busy with families swimming at the beach, picnicking with kids, and couples enjoying the warm sun and numerous lookout points. The surrounding trails are a fun escape and easy to find. They have benches scattered throughout so if you want to sit and relax to soak in the sun's rays, you can do that too. Most aren't strenuous or long, perfect for a casual stroll. Above the beach area is a good-sized lawn area that gives a birds eye view of the Lake, and designed for a picnic. Pre-COVID, this spot had to be reserved and there are posted placards with instructions on how to do so. Since then, that has been banned. Parking is plentiful, though gets a bit tougher to find when the weather is nice. If you need ADA accessible parking, there are a small number of spots on the lower side of the park. You will need to hang a left off 98th that leads you to a small entrance so keep an eye out for that. Restrooms are clean, plenty of picnic tables for social distancing, and my perfect hideout to enjoy the quiet in the city. Highly recommend paying a visit, but be respectful of surrounding neighbors as this is a private residential area as well.
