I went on a walk after a long day at work. Atmosphere is good and safe. Limited parking space though but I had a great refreshment

Beautiful designed park with a kid playground and a beach. Summer time is fun for water sport, but the view is all season, day and night. Some mystery people place and draw ladybirds inside the park, which leads me to find their final presenting place at near neighborhood. Water, breeze and sunlight. I love this place. Ps, be careful about the spiders :)

I personally love the new Meydenbauer Bay Park and think it is not only a great preservation of space in the Bellevue area, but a nice area for family fun. If you think about the dollar value of this strip of land, I think it is admirable that the city kept and remodeled it, versus doing something to put dollars in their pockets. This park is easiest accessed by walking, but there is one lower and one upper parking lot if you come by car. I personally would bring my stroller and do street parking a few blocks off. There are gorgeous new playgrounds, a stunning dock, new restrooms, beaches to relax on, picnic tables to eat at, trails to walk, and so on. We loved it this summer, thank you city of Bellevue!!

Meydenbauer Bay Park is the new park, in place of the former Meydenbauer Beach Park. I was a fan of the former, as it was the only beach park in downtown Bellevue. Yet, Meydenbauer Bay Park makes this more of an open park with a boardwalk to the water that you can dive off of and a larger playground area for families. I liked the former and the present is fine. But I will say that what this new park lacks is green space, which is what the Meydenbauer Beach Park had. I especially loved spending a few hours there, laying out and reading on the lawn area and would carry a picnic. It was also a hidden gem, as the trees made it more seclusive. Here at the new and "improved" park, the boardwalk is nice and you can tell it's new construction. The playground seems to be a huge feature here, with some tables and benches and bathrooms, catering to families. There's a small parking lot and also an area for cars to drop-off and pick-up passengers. Location is definitely on its side, as it's walking distance from downtown Bellevue. With that said, that will primarily be the reason why I visit this park.

I loved the old park and I love the new park! It is definitely much easier to enjoy now, and you don't have to trip over 10 billion trees to get to the water. There's also a nice parking lot now! And a pretty beach area with grass, a playground, nice bathrooms with outdoor showers, lockers, and covered changing areas. Definitely coming back here to see the sunset!

A great park in the heart of Bellevue. We missed this park till now, we recently heard that the city of Bellevue had done a lot of development around this park and inaugurated it recently and went looking for it. A great waterfront park with amazing views, which includes a sandy beach with swimming area, a play area for kids and some walking trails. They have paved a lot of the walking trails and added a lot of parking. It's an amazing park!!!

I like this gorgeous park in old downtown Bellevue. It is good for walk n good for kids with new playground and sands. Also I saw kids were swimming in summer time. Many kids looks happy. Dog allowed too.

One of my favorite places to relax and unwind. This park is beautiful and offers a lot of places to walk around, sit, or adventure.

Wow! This was not here around 2 years ago. Was under construction and now it's here and so beautiful! Wow even have a little man made beach. Beautiful boardwalk, today we got to see a film/music video in the making. A bunch of teenagers dancing. How beautiful, how nice. Beautiful with the sunset.

What a gorgeous hidden gem minutes from downtown Bellevue! Although it is more somber during this covid era, it is peaceful and beautiful. You're able to take a small boat or kayak out to the lake, sit on the dock and watch the water glisten, or have lunch on a bench overlooking the neighborhood. Usually there is a playground that is open as well as swimming permitting when there is a lifeguard. It's a great place to come for some peace of mind.

I love this spot so much. Came here today for the first time on a Tuesday 4/25/23. Very relaxing. You can also go on the docks.

The lakefront views are simply stunning, framed by gorgeous multi-million dollar homes that add to the serene, upscale feel of the area. It's a family-friendly haven, often filled with friendly ducks, children playing, and people enjoying the water. Whether you're into paddle boarding, boating, swimming, or just relaxing by the water, the park offers a wide range of activities--complete with clean shower and bathing facilities that make it incredibly convenient. I've often imagined hosting a wedding or special event here because the setting is just that beautiful, though I'm not sure if it's officially allowed. Regardless, this park holds a special place in my heart, and I will definitely be coming back again and again. It's a true gem that offers both peaceful retreat and vibrant recreation--perfect for all ages.

I had the opportunity to visit it twice during a 2 night stay on Mercer Island. It was one of the nicest waterfront city parks I've visited. There are two entrances to the park, with the North and South entrances leading to large free parking lots. The South Entrance was the closer one to both the light rail station and our Airbnb, both about a 20 minute walk away. The South parking lot is closer to the Swim Beach (a nice little beach with a protected swimming area). It is also closer to the Earth Sculpture "The Source" (to me, a cross between crop circles, Indian mounds, and a labyrinth. My wife mentioned she felt a different energy from it as we walked by. The Meadow is a large picnic area between the two parking lots. The North lot is close to the tennis (now pickleball) courts, and all were filled when we walked by. The Amphitheater is also located nearby, and is the place for free performances during the summer months (for 2026, performances of Macbeth by Seattle's Shakespeare Company. At the north end of the park, are two off-leash dog areas (one for smaller, more shy dogs). My son-in-law and daughter took their mini-dachshund there to play, which was enjoyed by everyone. Small note about Luther Burbank: many parks and schools are named after him, including Luther Burbank Elementary School(s) in Long Beach, CA and Burbank, CA (though the city itself was named after a different Burbank).

I was looking to play during my last visit and a friend suggested going here. First off I had no idea they added pickleball courts and was impressed at the 8 very nice courts and good level of competition. The format took a little getting used to as it appeared to have been 4 on, 4 off. I could tell there were a lot of regulars here and everyone really came to play. I wish I could've played here again but I guess it will have to wait until my next visit.
