First time stopping by and won't be making a return. Arrived when there were maybe 6 other customers eating and drinking, took forever to get a menu that didn't even come by way of our own server, who then messed up our first drink order that wasn't even a difficult request (jack and coke was the order, got beer instead). When the tickets came split for myself and guest, we paid our respective halves and left. What I should've been charged and what was signed for somehow got double when it hit my bank account. Messaged the bar the same day to get it worked out and was advised to call two certain bartenders. Called twice a day that day and 4 days following without any luck or callbacks. Finally had a manager actually message me with a "I'll look into it as soon as I can" and that was the last response since 3/30. Since the bar can't seem to get shit together to fix their mistake, the entire charge has been disputed. Big ol' warning to keep your receipts in the event this is a typical trick for their server or the bar in general! read more

This place is by one of the most welcoming bar here I've been to in Ogden! I have to say everyone there had a lot of live energy and attended to everyone equally. The 3 employees that really stood out were Julie, C.J. And Allie. Not only was it entertaining but they know to keep you entertained. The food is killer. Perfect bar and restaurant like food as well. Really amazing food! Everything is just a little overpriced in my option. Most items could stand to be reduced by just 50¢-$1 and it would be better. But a side of guacamole is like $3 or $4, totally absurd to me. I really do love this place though, so regardless of the slight overpricing, I continue to enjoy myself here. They host fun events and the staff has always been friendly. Sometimes the events get more of a turnout than they probably expect, so service gets a little slow. But I don't mind slower service when you can see how busy it is in the bar. I've met the owners on a couple occasions and they're really nice, down to earth people who will enjoy a drink with you. I enjoyed my visit until I received my bill. What is up with the credit surcharge? Mine was $1.10 on a $14.00 tab. I understand credit card processing rates are high, but they are not 8%. So they are not just covering their processing costs. There is nothing posted to indicate the surcharge, and I was not informed by the staff it would cost me extra to use my card. I had cash in my pocket. Disappointed they would choose to make money off their customers in this way and I won't be back. read more

I like the bar, the location and the décor. I do NOT like the fact they randomly charge an EARLY $5.00 cover charge when a band will play that night. You may arrive there 2 hours before the band is scheduled to start and you just want a quick beer and maybe a meal. You'll be done and gone before the band starts but they want a cover charge from. NOT reasonable. A "good" way to lose customers/business. Arrived there yesterday evening about 7:15 pm to see a band that was supposed to start playing at 9:00 pm. Of course I got charged the cover and the band did not start playing until about 10:15 pm when I was just about ready to leave (don't usually stay out late). Probably got to hear the band for 15 minutes before I left. That's a rip-off. read more

Very fun bar. Been here through the years when it had different names. Nice to see it open again. It is a real hidden gem. Drinks are cheap, food is good. We saw the Gamma Rays there this spring, soooo much fun. Try it out. Adult trivia is a ton of fun and you can have a couple of drinks and kill 2 hours for $10-12. Bring a group though as the questions can be very tough. read more

Went on Friday the 24th with my husband and friends to have dinner my husband had the longhorn burger ,and I had the blt chicken sandwich it was so delicious I will definately be back our waitress was a little slow but other employees helped her they were friendly and very attentive definately thumbs up read more

I used to really like this place. Then Dave & Co. succumbed to pure greed with the opening of the Harp & Hound. I guess they figured that people would drink and eat upstairs and then pay the cover charge and start drinking downstairs. Quietly they kept raising prices and providing smaller portions of food and higher prices for the cover charge to go downstairs. These are owners that have nothing but contempt for their clientele. They'll greet you with a big smile (when they're around) while they consider you a fool. Way too much competition around, and up and coming competition, for this situation to last. Eventually reality will hit Dave & Co. Really disgusted with the Funk 'n Dive/Harp & Hound situation. If I'm going to be treated like an idiot I'll take my business elsewhere. Terrible service. Went there last week when my brother was in town and My server was rude and inattentive. She kept disappearing without checking in on us first, our drinks would be empty for 20 to 30 minutes and she was no where to be found. Had to keep going to the bar to get more. She was unprofessional as she was talking to her friend or boyfriend that was there almost the whole time with completely inappropriate contact. my brother and I watched him grab her and It was nauseating. woulda been cool if she were at least attentive but she wasnt. When she did come to our table she had no personality and friendliness to her. It was uncomfortable and we will probably not be coming back. Nice environment, service not so much, value is just OK. We went with 4 couples around 6:30 on a Thursday. We all ordered simple food and drinks. I don't think a single couple got there items without a problem. The waitress walked by 5 times while my glass is empty, then delivered a beer to the guy next to me by climbing on the bench and reaching over me...then finally asked me if I wanted a beer. Low-lights: raw chicken, half frozen tator tots, two nachos ordered at the same time delivered 20 minutes apart, ordered appetizer without guacamole but brought it anyway ($3 for 4oz), first person to order received it last. Best undiscovered brunch spot in Ogden! A true dive bar. Great theme nights and events. Awesome bartenders. Pool tables in the back. The only thing that would make it better is if the liquor laws changed and they could give us heavier pours. A vast improvement over the wine place that it replaced. read more
