Not bad, not good, whoever said something about the men's bathrooms and gave it 5 stars is foul I came in with high expectations to be met with the worst possible set up in my life read more

You are in Utah! This place was really cool on the inside and whoa!!! Check out the men's restroom- never seen that before. They have a really good burger and BLT sandwich. This is definitely a saloon- once you walk in you know read more

Went during daytime hours this place is huge tvs pool tables, music was good, lots of locals and regulars bartenders are friendly live music and line dancing read more

The place overall seems like a really good place to have a dance night. However, it gives an uncomfortable feeling if you're not a local or someone who comes every Friday/Saturday night. I don't think if you are dressed with the biggest hat or belt buckle that you will feel like you fit in as much. read more

I love this bar. It is fun and has great energy. The only complaint I have is the food is terrible. I am here quite often and would like to have more verity and some healthy options. The pizzas are probably their best options. The hamburgers and Panini's are awful. Also, you cannot leave and come back in after 9 o'clock, which means you're stuck eating the food here. read more

There's some good things about the Outlaw. Drinks are cheap. Bartenders are nice. Music is good if you enjoy country. There's dancing. It seemed like it would be a pretty fun night out celebrating with friends. I was warned that the people watching would be good. What I wasn't warned about was that my sister would be groped by a man within 10 minutes of being there, a bouncer watched the entire thing go down, and didn't say a single thing. We were shocked. We didn't even know how to react. We brushed it off and went back to our group. Later that night the same guy tried to approach my sister again and we just left. (Okay, we just left after I pointed and yelled "creep!" ... it turns out I'm not great in these situations.) The bar can't control how the people will act, but the fact that the staff witnessed it and didn't even bat an eye was shocking. I will assume they thought we knew the guy... but regardless, this bar is added to my "never to return" list. read more

watered down alcohol like nothing I've ever experienced before. Four shots of "whiskey", one glass of "Merlot" in an hour and barely a buzz. Two shots were 90 proof and tasted like water. Don't go. read more

The best in Utah ??? Give me a fuckin break!!!!! Don't you get out much???? That's the problem with narrow minded asshats!!!! You never get over yourself!!! At best this is a neighborhood dive bar!!!! And as for the service not bad until they get busy and then good luck!!!! The bands I've seen here are just a step above a jukebox!!!! Get some real talent and employ some people who know how to run a bar!!! SMDH read more

Cowboys. Lots and lots of Cowboys. Pretty much what you would expect from a place called The Outlaw. It's not a bad experience though. As with most bars, there is a $5 cover if you arrive after 9, military gets in free. If you like country music and all things southern, then you'll be comfortable in this atmosphere. On weekends they have live bands that play classics as well as oldies. They play a good variety of peppy songs and slow songs. It's a fun place to go even if you don't drink. Even though drinking makes line dancing (seem) a lot easier. If you're even a somewhat attractive girl you will most likely be asked to dance by a few old men. Just humor them for a few minutes and dance with them. They have some pool tables too for people that don't enjoy dancing or just want to relax with friends while buzzing. Their waitresses are polite and quick. Their bartenders know most drinks, even the fruity girly ones. Their food isn't bad, but the kitchen closes after midnight so you better get hungry quick. Unlike most bars in Utah, their last call is 12:30 so be prepared for that. The bathrooms leave a little to be desired, get ready to be shoulder to shoulder with your new best friend while nature calls. (And no one ever washes their hands at the bar) It gets really busy on the weekends so unless you have a tab open be prepared to stand in line for a while. It's a good place to relax. I go almost every weekend with my girlfriend just for the dancing. I would recommend it to my friends. read more

The Outlaw - My girlfriend and I. (And her mom) - Country Dance Halls Near Me - Ogden, Utah

Went to The Outlaw for the first time and loved it. We were there late afternoon on a Saturday and there was a pool tournament going on, but the place is big and there was still plenty of seating. Lots of TV's with baseball and football on. Music was good - think it was the jukebox. A DJ was coming in when we left and there was going to be a band later. Enjoyed the diverse mix of patrons, everyone was friendly. Red was the bartender and he was really attentive and kind and made our group feel welcome. Ladies room was clean. Excited to go back when we can stay longer. read more

Wanted to take a closer look at this place. The sign at the door said 9pm, cover charge, it was 7pm. We would have gone in to look at a menu, possibly order. Then play a game of pool. The bouncer told us he started collecting at 7pm. First time I have had that experience. Not friendly at all. I am assuming I was not part of the club. Not a way to do business. read more

Let's start with the fact I've worked in a bar for a while, myself. So you may understand that I have a certain familiarity... I walked into the Outlaw this evening, September 13th, at 733. I left at 8:05. I waited 14 minutes before walking up to the bar to order a beer, and let the bar-maid know I would also want food. I waited another while, counting people (a total of 43, including staff, band, and myself) and none of the 3 waitresses ever came to see if I'd like anything. One vanished into the back not long after my initial arrival, the other two chatted at the bar (yes, they were about 10 feet away when I ordered my beer and told the barmaid I'd like food... I heard them chatting, so I'm sure they heard me as well); they also wandered around together, chatting and talking to people who seemed to be friends of theirs. When I worked a bar, I never let people go more than three minutes before letting them know I'd be with them momentarily, even when we were slammed. This pace is ridiculous. read more

I was there with 3 others To see Ned Ledoux. He was awesome just like his dad was. The place was a lot of fun, beer was reasonable and easy to get. Food was nothing to brag about. Even though we bought our tickets a Week or so in advance we were forced to stand for the 2 hours before the event started and for the 2 hours that it lasted, This was the only bad thing. Well one more thing, they don't have adequate parking. Still over all it was a fun night. read more

Every time I go here its always a high school reunion. Although now that everyone is getting older and having babies it's a little less and less of a high school reunion. They have live music all the time and lots of Line dancing, which is my favorite!!! I love to line dance. Their bouncers don't mess around, they are kind of on people butts for fighting and being too drunk so just a heads up. It's always a $5 coverage but Fridays military get in free! Yahoo! I heard they do line dancing days during the week so you can learn a few dancing for the weekend rush and fun! oh and you can call and reserve a table for birthdays or any kind of parties, girls night here is a great time!! I love this place and will always keep coming back! read more

I don't frequent this location but I do come here time to time for a night out. My only complaint is that there is often not enough parking so I'd recommend carpooling if you plan on going with a lot of friends! Fun environment! read more

The Outlaw is awesome! They have drinks and food, tables and leaning bars, DJ and (on weekends) live bands, pool tables, and a dedicated dance floor. Staff if friendly. They also have line dance lessons (Thursdays), which have a great turn out! A great place to line dance or listen to great local bands! I would love to see more guys come out that can swing and two step! read more

Don't go here if you want to dance or expect a crowd. They kicked us off the dance floor for holding our plastic cups and even the live band chastised us in front of everyone. Our group of 10 was more than half the crowd on a Saturday night so we left. Not worth it. read more

I'm not really into country but it was ok. Service was good, the "cocktail waitresses" there were making rounds often enough to make sure we had drinks. Military gets in free. Definetly a broad range of types of people there. There was a live band on Friday with plenty of line dancing read more

Great bar with a lot of HDTV's playing football, great music and a group of terrific bartenders. Loved the dancing and the DJ.

Interesting place for sure. I've never gone on the weekend so I haven't seen it to busy. It's a fun place to people watch and enjoy a few drinks with friends . read more

Dive bar and meat market. Shots from the spot girl are weak and a waste. Management is no where to be found

I would like to take a short moment to reflect on my recent encounter with The Outlaw in off 2100 South in Ogden. I have NEVER been so offended and pushed around by the "bouncers". My friends and I were there for a good evening which turned out to be a nightmare when these 3 ignorant, imbecilic, and vulgar "bouncers" apparently decided they were power hungry and kicked my friend out of the bar (when he was doing no harm, just dancing 'not on the dance floor'), tackled him once he was already OUTSIDE of the bar, and then HIT his wife out side in the parking lot. I have NEVER been so appalled by the actions of the employees of a company such as this. I am amazed people still go there and feel respected and have a good time. I will NEVER go here again and i will tell all my friends the same. read more
