Full bar inside
Travis B.

The L.A.B. Is Ogden's first 21 and over video arcade and bar. Situated right down town within walking distance of 25th Street and other entertainment options this place caters to the folks wanting to play pinball while imbibing adult beverages. This place offers a full bar with beer and spirits, a food menu (bar-type food) and a lot of gaming, There's more pinball here than video games and several of the pinball machines have video cameras, so you can show off for your friends on monitors above them. For video games, they have a lot of classics, like Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and a lot of the fighting games. Several of the games are 2 to 4 player interactive's, so that your entire party can have a great time. And if you're feeling really old-school, there's skee ball in the back. We had a great time here and the vibe is super cool. We're excited to revisit.

The Lab has a great variety of pinball machines. Enjoyed great company and drinks & lots of women!

My good friend and I had planned a day of fun with her three nieces (9, 14, and 17 years old) and…read morewe spent more than half of it at the Solomon Center. A delicious lunch at Costa Vida, a few hours of fun at Skinny Dogz (formerly Fat Cats,) and then a movie at the Megaplex. We were surprised to find out that Fat Cats is now called Skinny Dogz, but it was the same great place we remembered from before. The girls were excited to play laser tag, so we did that first. I was very impressed with how modern and exciting the laser tag arena was. I have played many times over the years at other places, but this arena had some really cool features I hadn't seen before, such as time delayed "laser bombs" that would hit anyone exposed in all directions. You activate them by shooting at the target enough times, then get out of the way fast! We also had a lot of fun at the arcade. At first the girls stood around not seeing anything that interested them, but after a few minutes, they found some games that they liked, and within about an hour or so they were begging us to reload their cards so they could play more. I enjoyed the air hockey table, and loved the motorcycle race game. (There were two, but the ones to the left were my favorite.) I learned that if you take first place, you get to race again for free. Before leaving, we cashed in our virtual tickets for a bunch of fun prizes. We didn't have enough to get anything big, but we had plenty of candy to eat during the movie, and a bunch of fun toys, including a super bounce ball, which my friend had to confiscate from one of the kids for bouncing it in the hallways at the movie theater later. (Ok, it wasn't one of the kids, it was me.) :) I would highly recommend Skinny Dogz as a great place to have fun with your kids or to take someone to for a fun date.

Talked to the guy at the register and they said they had the console I was looking for but when I…read morewent in, I had to wait for some other guy to try to pry the back of the display off. I guess they couldn't get the case open, so now I gotta come back another day to try and get it and I don't think it's worth the hassle. The employee was very insistent on me buying the console today which was a little off-putting. It felt more like the guy that came in only cared about making money which didn't really sit right with me. I get it's a business but he didn't really act professional. The guy who helped me at the register was nice though. Lastly, most of their product is VERY overpriced with a few exceptions.

Sweet treats (like cookies or chocolates) or savory snacks (like nuts) are typical gifts for friends and family. My daughters, however, usually request Pokemon plushes/stuffed dolls that they don't already have and/or may be very hard to find back home. So when I visited Utah recently to attend my oldest daughter's wedding, my honey-do-list included a trip to Gamestop to search for the requested Pokemon. Unfortunately, they didn't have anything new or different. Rooster's, on the other hand, had no less than 6 Pokemon that neither girl had. When I called the Mrs for confirmation, the word I got was, "They want this one, and that one, and how about that one, too." The staff was fantastic. The prices very reasonable for rarer Pokemon dolls. Thanks again Rooster's!!!
