The girl at the front counter was very rude when we questioned the exorbitant price for the movie. The listing online still stated that matinee prices were $4.50, yet the actual price was $12.00. We questioned why there were so few seats for the lower price of $10 and she rudely told us if we wanted to argue we could just leave. She was very unprofessional and stated that she would kick us out if we weren't in the exact seat we purchased. This theater won't last long with this kind of employee. The manager wanted to search my minor child. Yup, you read that right. Me and my son went to watch a movie and he brought a blanket and a plush to use as a pillow. As we entered the manager demanded to search my son because she thought he might have hidden snacks. I was completely taken aback because no where did it say when I bought the tickets or when we entered the venue that management would be conducting searches on patrons as they entered. In fact, without a clearly communicated policy about searching patrons while they enter you legally cannot conduct such a search and any attempt to could constitute a violation of a persons privacy. Now let's ask did this manager search through the purses of the ladies that entered before us or did she ask to search their daughters? Nope, the creepy lady just wanted to search my son. I'm not sure if she wanted to frisk him or what but no way in heck was I going to let some strange creepy lady feel up my minor child because we wanted to watch a movie, ewe! I'm considering legal action because this is a violation of my son's right to privacy and harassing a child at a movie theatre is disgusting. Just ewe... don't go here. read more

This was my first time at this theater and I was very disappointed. It does NOT accommodate the deaf/hearing impaired. I am hearing and went to the movie with my deaf parents. They had two CC devices that would not connect to the theater. They seemed annoyed when I had to first ask for the device because they were busy, then annoyed when I went back after the movie started causing us to already miss the movie.. We had already bought snacks at their facility and I asked if we could stay to watch the movie because I myself could still enjoy it, but my parents could not as my step dad does not read lips. The lady first said no we had to leave to get refunded and then when I told her other theaters just let us stay since we already got snacks and they refund the deaf their tickets since they can't follow the story. The lady said "okay, just go in and in the meantime I'll work on the devices and see if I can fix them and we will deal with it afterward." I watched the movie while my step dad napped and I tried to interpret for my mom parts of the movie and afterward asked for the refund and they refused to give it and the lady tried to say she didn't say she would refund it if we stayed because "company policy". You can clearly see my parents are DEAF not something we could fake for a refund. The two older ladies up front were not nice at all and like I said seemed annoyed from the start of asking for the device. Being deaf is difficult enough to enjoy everyday things especially a movie like Elvis and having companies and businesses that are rude to them will be known. The deaf community in Utah is large. It's disappointing because this theater is by my parents house and they would of liked to go there regularly. Driving farther for better service of not feeling like your disability is a burden is worth it. read more

Service is great! They treat you like they want you there and not just for the money. A cute hangout spot for all ages. And their little pizzas are a plus :) Nothin big, but it's definitely something I recommend for the family or big groups. read more

We like coming here because it is fairly close to home and the concessions are way cheap compared to other theaters. The prices are affordable and allows us to take the whole family. The only downfall is the smaller theaters are not stadium seating but no big loss there. They always seem to have the latest movies too which is nice. The best popcorn around as well. The Walker Cinemas franchise is my favorite movie theater of them all! This theater features the stadium seating so you can sit higher and don't have to worry about the tall guy in front of you. This is a plus over the Perry location (however Perry is still my favorite)! Their prices are reasonable and their snack bar prices are the best. They have various combo meals, from the single person to the group of 10! Their popcorn is the best of any theaters in the valley. They also use real butter instead of the oil flavoring that most places use. read more

My husband and I had never heard of this theater, and were kind of hesitant about trying it because it wasn't a big name theater. We both agreed that we weren't going eat popcorn, but the smell when we walked into the theater made it extremely difficult to say no. We were soooo happy with the taste! They even had a crock pot of REAL BUTTER!!! We were pleasantly surprised by the seats in the theater too. Perfect recline and softness of chairs. Sound was good too. We will be traveling the hour and half just to eat the popcorn alone! Wow!!! read more

Equipment problems are inevitable. But when they happen, a theater should have much better customer service then we had with a projector with avengers endgame. there are plenty of other theaters in town that I will go to instead of Walker Cinemas. read more

The place is almost priced as high as a regular theater would be. I expected for how old the movies are that are being played there that the prices would be lower. The seats were comfortable and the sound system was decent. The only really good part about it was that they have refillable sodas and how close it is to my house. read more

A nice, smaller theater when you don't want to deal with the crowd or parking at the Megaplex. It's an older theater and doesn't offer the new plush seats or the hot foods but what you get is a lesser populated movie and potentially your own private screening. Seats are not the most comfortable but sometimes you just want to watch a movie and get out. read more

Not only is it close to home, but it's affordable especially for those with family! Not my favorite popcorn, but I still enjoy it along with the other concessions. I just went and seen Taken 3 with my mom and two sisters. It was so COLD that we should have taken blankets to keep warm. This made it hard to enjoy a great movie, I had to go out into the lobby to get warm and then go back to finish watching the movie. read more

We only get to go to the show a few times a year as we are retired. We drive from Layton as the prices are what we can afford. The snack bar is great and allows both of us to get what we want. The seating is what you would put in if it was your theater. Well kept up and clean. read more
