Wow! I can't remember the last time I visited a movie theater that had a massive gaming arcade...most have done away with them, which is among the perks of this theater. It's truly a mega theater with 14 individual theaters...where one can enter from either the left or right side. The theater seems old, and well attended from the wear of the seats...still it has reclining seats and the screen (in my theater)is pretty big, I'm seeing a movie that within a day or two will be leaving theaters including this one. Was happy to have the theater experience with this movie. My only comment is that there isn't an entrance from the street parking...one has to go in the mall to enter which for me is strange especially when it's a late move and the mall is literally closed. read more

Your theaters smell really bad, like feet. Really bad. I had a hard time watching the movie.

Tinseltown 14 is a comfortable theater with good popcorn. What more do you need? Whether I'm attending a movie or live broadcast, they cater to their clientele. read more

They don't show their movies on the time they post otherise the theater is ok it showed a shortage of seats but their were plenty of empty spots charge more for popcorn refills and charge for picking your seat ahead read more

John was very helpful and kind and made out experience a lot better! My whole group felt he did everything he could to make sure we had a good experience read more

I always forget about this theater. It's the first theater I ever saw a movie at. It's come a long way since then and has had a really nice upgrade... thankfully since it's been over 20 years, ha! What set this place apart from every other theater is the management and employees. I was given a voucher from another Cinemark and didn't realize it was only good at that location. I showed up here 10 minutes before the movie I wanted to see to find out that they couldn't accept my voucher! But then the manager let me see the movie for free (and let me keep my voucher since he couldn't accept it). Are you kidding me!? How freakin' nice of him. He did not have to do that, but I appreciated it so much. Just that made me a huge fan of this place. Then the next time we came we encountered more helpful and nice employees. We had stood in the wrong line, but the employee was so kind, helped us, and let us know how we could get through quicker next time. The popcorn, theater, and everything else is in par with all the nice theaters around. But the management and staff here have been awesome over the last six months! read more

This is our "go-to" theater for any movie that comes out. It's always been clean and the sound and visual excellence of the movies are perfect. They've actually spoiled us with the luxury recliners. we absolutely refuse to go anywhere else. If you read my other reviews, I typically only post about a business if there was a problem or if they were exceptionally great. As you can imagine, the 5-Star rating indicates they were exceptionally great to my family the other day. On a busy Fourth of July, we reserved tickets to see Flash. After submitting my QR code, the attendant mentioned that i had reserved the movie for the previous day. UGH!!! Before I could self-detonate, the manager standing behind the attendant motioned me over to an open kiosk, where he reassigned us to open seats in a showing of Flash later that day. No questions asked, no finger-pointing, he just did the right thing. It saved our holiday. Thank you so much! read more

I like Cinemark because it is close to where I live. Most of the time they have a good selection of movies playing at various times. I'm an early person so I like the matinees. Can't say much on cleanliness. It's not filthy but climbing the stairs to see the first showing of a movie today, the pop corn and debris under the chairs are unreal! Plus my chair was super sticky! Did anyone clean this theater? I always get the answer "we're short handed" when I ask how come theater is so unclean. Restroom was fine. I keep coming because like I said, this theater is close read more

I like the theater but the fact they are still not providing refills on overpriced concessions is ridiculous and an obvious play to make more money off of COVID. read more

The front staff is stuck up, would recommend to just buy tickets online to bypass them

I took my family to a private watch party to see The Empire Strikes Back. We had a great time having the theater to ourselves. The theater was very clean and probably cleaner than most places. The popcorn, candy, and drinks were reasonably priced. I personally missed eating theater popcorn. There is nothing like seeing movies as they are intended, on the big screen. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They are anxious for people to return. read more

This location is great! They have newly updated reclining seats which weren't here the last time I visited. Granted, it's been a few years! I'm currently watching Murder On The Orient Express and I've wanted to see it for awhile so I'm excited! Don't forget to scan your Cinemark connections if you have the app! Movie quality is good, the rooms aren't overly huge so there's not a whole lot of people watching when you are, and the popcorn and snacks are good. They also have a butter station where you can add more butter/salt if you need! Very convenient. read more

Cinemark Tinseltown 14 - Reclining seats - Cinema Near Me - Ogden, Utah

This theater is located inside the Newgate mall in Ogden, Utah. It's a nice little theater that plays all the latest movies. They have an Arcade area inside you can have fun in while you wait. They have a small food court area which is fully stocked. It's cool that it's connected to the mall, once your finished with your movie you can walk the mall. The one thing I did like was the comfortable seats, you can literally fall asleep on them they are so comfy. read more

The theater was exceptionally clean which is really nice when you lose your keys under your seats. The restrooms were tidy too. The screen size in even the furthest theaters from the front doors are decent, and the sound was set to the correct levels, so as to immerse you in the movie rather than blow you from your seat. The reclining lounge chairs were nice but the concession stand was too busy for me to be able to get anything before the movie started so that was a bummer. If you are wanting popcorn show up with ten minutes to spare. read more

Nice theater located in the middle of the Newgate Mall. All of the theaters are stadium style and have been clean on every visit we have made. I LOVE the fact that they still have affordable matinees. $6.50 for adults at the time of writing. First run movies at a deal in the early part of the day is a win for every one. I also like the kiosks outside of the theater to pay and pick your seats. It avoids the counter lines and lets you get in to the movies faster. The concessions here are the only downfall and are extremely limited. You can get a better selection of food at a Megaplex or even the newer Cinemark's. The person taking tickets is pretty tough on outside food and drink as well. If you're going to bring it in, conceal it well. read more

We took our young daughter to see My hero Academia over the weekend. When entering the theater there were several very young kids from 7 to 14 years of age. While waiting for the show to start the irresponsible theater showed previews of adult themed content and R movie previews. I mean WTH are they thinking? You would think they would show previews of kids movies but instead They intentional showed filth! The exposure of such content to under age children should be illegal! Parents beware! read more

Great seats, great popcorn, and great staff. My favorite theatre to go to. Compared to Megaplex this place takes the cake. It isn't as flashy as Megaplex but it is more comfortable, with better sound quality, and, as I've said, better popcorn. Nuf said. read more

This is actually unacceptable. The movie I saw was advertised to be the extended cut version and is only in theaters for a limited time, and the movie screen shut off 3 times, mostly during the extended scenes we were paying for and really exciting moments (action movie). I'm so beyond angry. The theater staff didn't even seem to care, and they didn't rewind the movie that we missed. i will be calling on Monday and leaving an oral complaint as well because this is absolutely outrageous. Going to megaplex next time for sure. read more

I absolutely love this theater. Sure the only entrance is from within the mall, and the screens are too high up to comfortably use the front 5 or 6 rows, but besides that it is perfect! Fantastic popcorn and drinks, plus local food options and a huge candy selection. The phone app is easy to use and you can save up points towards free food and tickets. You can also come in on Tuesdays for $5 movie tickets. My parents go every week! Very comfortable leather seats. read more

I have been meaning to write this review and I hope it reaches someone in town to boost some people up. I went to see Rise of Skywalker around the last week of December. It was busy, holiday rush was in full swing still. I have some stomach issues and health issues going on and have to be careful with allergies. I was panicking at going to the movies. What am I going to eat?? Well I read online that I couldn't have the salt and I could request a batch without. The staff tried their hardest to get the second machine up and it wouldn't budge, they were so kind and the entire time never scoffed or seemed annoyed by what I know was a lofty request. They got the ingredients in the back and helped us comb through them and we found I could eat them. They were so helpful. I don't even think I have got this same level of concern and help with that at resorts or very nice restaurants. I contacted several buisinesses before this just a week prior to ask for help in allergies for my birthday dinner and no one would call me back or look. This was such a really great surprise and gem. I am so impressed with Cinemark time and time again. I visited an event at another local theater and they have absolutely nothing on this one. The best! read more

So you want to charge full price for drinks and popcorn but all of a sudden say no refills ? Lower your prices then

Besides its unfortunate location in the sad Newgate Mall I really like this theater. Its never busy, its clean, the customer service is good, and the seats are nice. I find the concession quality and price to be comparable to any other chain theater. You can sign up for emailed digital "Cinemark coupons" which we use to get free popcorn nearly every time we go. read more

Absolutely best movie theatre I've ever been to. The customer service is just phenomenal. The seats are so comfortable and the popcorn is so good. Every person who works there makes me feel so special and they're all so kind and just want to make sure everything is good. read more

I love the new recliners in all auditoriums and the fact they are in the mall. Great place!

25.00 dollars for concessions...Is it too much to ask for hot popcorn the first time around? The theater is decent but the popcorn is mediocre at best. And did I mention expensive and lukewarm? They did give me new popcorn after I asked but still not hot. Also I could have done without the humming and eye rolling. Look if it was a dollar whatever but if you charge me 25.00 then I will complain all day when it is cold. read more

This theatre is the best! Recliner seats and $5 movies on Tuesday can't be beat! My husband and I do the movie club and it's legit. No online fees and 20% off concessions can't be beat! read more

I usually take my kids to the Layton mall theater because they have the luxury recliners. This theater advertised "luxury loungers" in every theater, and even have the reclining theater chairs out front of the theater on display. We got into the theater for a 2 1/2 hour movie to find out they are NOT recliner loungers at all. They are a step above the old fashion theater seats but still crammed in. You definitely have to move or get up if someone needs to go to the restroom on your aisle. I will not be returning to this theater as it was the same cost for crap seating. NOTHING luxurious about it. read more

Went to see Jumanji today and the front row seats were the only seats available... worst ever!!!!! Those seats should not even be made available. Horrible experience! read more

Yay! they updated their system so you can pick your seats! I was super excited when I seen this upgrade. They have also recently put in new seats I would way rather come here now verses the mega plex at the junction as it is always less crowded.!!!! read more

What's with the popcorn? It's flavorless and full of hulls! A big Orville redenbachers sign over the concessions explains it. Gross.

love the seating the spacious rows you don't see any person in front of you highly recommend read more

Very clean theater, affordable, spacious seating, and friendly staff. Missing an IMAX, but otherwise great.

Customer service is a joke. Do not order the large popcorn and drink combo. What a joke. Spent over $14.00 and they refill popcorn and not a drink, we didn't use the popcorn refill ask if we could just switch it... Just said no. What is the point? DO NOT GO HERE. read more
