I went to the Ratatouille showing and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. It's a fun new experience…read morefor Utah that is about $50 per person. The food is tasty, and you can tell the team is working hard to make the experience seamless with the show. I only have two critiques. 1.) I wish they posted the menus to look over before you purchase. I hate blue cheese and was served blue cheese on my salad and the ratatouille, in a dark movie theater... Not the type of surprise I'd like. Had I known that was going to be on the menu I would have chosen a different show. For $100 (date of two) Id like to be able to enjoy all the food served. 2.) I wish they gave you real silverware from the start. I'd rather have to reuse my silverware, than be given a plastic fork that I can't cut up my food with. At the cloudy chance meatball show they gave out Jell-O sardines (gummy fish-shaped candy in Jell-O) with no utensils... I guess it was a finger food? It's rather awkward to eat Jell-O that way imo. Then they served breakfast (scrambled eggs bacon, and a tough waffle with syrup) with a plastic fork. Then they served the steak with real utensils. When they started cleaning our table to make room for the next meal I noticed them asking for the utensils back. I hung on to mine regardless and I'm glad I did because when they brought out a large meatball it was served with another plastic fork. For context I have braces, so I can't easily bite into things and want to be able to cut up my food to eat comfortably. Ps they served popcorn each time and I like that

To add to the "appeal" I heard the executive chef was arrested recently for sexual abuse.

Concession service: I stood at the counter for a while without anyone acknowledging me. When I finally asked for help, I got passed between staff before someone came over. The popcorn I received wasn't fresh or warm. Ice machines: None of the four ice dispensers were working. I flagged this to staff, who said they'd refill it, but it was never addressed during my visit. Ticket-taking: No one was posted to check tickets at the entrance -- I could have walked in without one. I'm a regular customer and want the experience to be good, which is why I'm flagging this rather than just leaving a bad review. It seemed like a staffing or supervision issue more than anything else -- the employees didn't seem disengaged so much as unmanaged in the moment.
