Penguin did a great job as the sales person. He was responsive and worked with our schedule. Delivery department did a good job but the camper still had a few unresolved issues with parts on order. Additionally the camper still had a decent amount of debris and general cleaning required. read more

A big shout out to Adam at FunTown Waco!! My family was in the market for a new RV, and we had experienced so much confusion and frustration while searching and speaking with folks at another location closer to where we live. However, being that we had purchased from this location before with success, we decided to give them a try! Adam saved the day! He found a way for everything to work out, and now, we have a new RV to enjoy! Thank you for all your help, and we 100% recommend Adam and the rest of the FunTown Waco team. read more

We bought a 2026 Brinkley. Adam Alexander is awesome. He is very knowledgeable of the Brinkley products. The sales manager gave us a great deal. The Finance manager found the best interest rate. The young lady did a great job on the walk thru. Adam made sure we got an RV accessory package that included sewer hose, water filter , surge protector and other goodies you need for camping. We are thankful we found our unit close to home. Vicki Lidey read more

So let me just start with this, it takes quite a bit to make me leave a bad review but this place right here has been a nightmare. We found the RV we wanted, we were told we had to put a $500 down fully refundable payment to ensure a hold on the RV we wanted while all the paperwork was being processed, this was on a Saturday. I asked for paperwork showing the interest rate we qualified for and payment amount so we could discuss over the weekend about our options and rates. I was told by our sales person that their financial manager was at their home store in Cleburne and would contact me Monday with the details, I reluctantly went ahead and put the $500 hold deposit on the RV and we drove home. Fast forward to the following Monday they called with a higher interest rate than they were even advertising and I told them at this point that we were going to pass on the rv. I also requested at this time to refund my money. My banking institution had a 72 hour hold on my funds so if they would have initiated the refund on Monday as requested, the money would have never processed through, instead Monday afternoon they called me back again and once again I told them we were not buying the RV at that interest rate and refund our $500. Instead they contact us again on Tuesday asking if we were refusing the RV actually because of the interest rate or was it because we didn't like something about it, I again stated the interest rate and to please refund our money. On Wednesday the general manager sends me a message stating he was able to get us a much lower rate and let him know if we were interested in the rv. I sent him back a message and once again stated we were no longer interested in that RV and we just wanted our refundable hold deposit back The GM failed to respond back. My $500 payment ended up depositing into their account on Wednesday because they failed to reverse it after being told several times to refund the payment. So here we are into the second week still trying to get our money back. FYI this has been a hard lesson but please never ever put a hold deposit on any RV and especially not at this establishment. There was several other conversations that transpired all last week that I will not go into detail on this forum but 100% ensured us that we made the correct decision to stop all business transactions with this company. read more

The lady in the parts department was very nice, but I'm not sure the prices are the lowest around.

5 Star review for Deanna Campbell the sales rep who helped us find a rig! Deanna went out of her way to get the information we inquired about and to make sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. Eric in the finance department also went out of his way to help us out. read more

I purchased a travel trailer that was sold as new and it, in fact, was obviously not new when everything was hooked up. During the walk through, the water did not come on, I was told the water was off outside so I stayed "It is a brand new trailer, it should be good, right?". They advised me that they had it on earlier and it was fine. Being a woman and not ever owning a travel trailer before, I took them for their word that it was good. HUGE MISTAKE. Relocated to Utah in a a few weeks later and the water wouldn't work. Huge hole in the line to the hot water heater among other things. $1,300 so far out of pocket and that's just scratching the surface on all that is wrong with it. They advised that due to freeze it was my fault that it happened. Not once did they ask if I needed it rewinterized, know it was going to Utah where it's cold. Kitchen and shower faucets were leaking when water finally got fixed, not enough water pressure to even ignite the hot water heater. Underbelly is going to have to be torn out to figure out why there is no pressure. Complete nightmare 20 hours from home. there is no way all these issues are from a "new" travel trailer that they said it was. read more

Shannon is honestly the nicest sales person makes you feel like family helping every way to get you what you want

Adam was our salesman and he did a fantastic job. This is our 5th camper from Funtown Waco and wouldn't buy from anywhere else.

First time here and though the stock is limited they have a nice amount of most needed supplies. Lewis was helpful answering our questions.

We met our salesperson Jacob Flores at the Fun Town show at AT&T Stadium. Told him our wishes and he showed us several. At a later date we contacted Jacob and informed him of our decision on an RV. When we made it to Waco to pick ip our RV, a shout out to Christian who did a great job in our walk through. A special thank you to Jacob who went above and beyond by helping me move our heavy mattress from our old unit and into the new one. Thank you Jacob for all of your hard work and assistance in helping us find our new RV. If you're looking for a new RV, give Jacob a chance at FUN TOWN RV in WACO!!! read more

Judging from all the other 1-star reviews, it looks like Funtown RV-Waco could absolutely care less about their customers. I had a control board failure for my furnace control that went out just before the snow hit. After finding a local mobile repair group (especially since Funtown service was of such little help), I've now gotten the repair completed. Did I mention that this is a 10-month old 2024 model I purchased from Funtown WITH an extended warranty? Three emails to try and get reimbursement and Amanda (Funtown Service Manager) hasn't even had the decency to respond. When I spoke with her over a month ago, the concern was that Funtown needed to have confirmation of reimbursement from Forrest River first. Did I purchase the warranty from Forrest River?...NO! Did I send all pictures, part info, and quotes directly to Amanda?...YES! Is the ghosting of a customer acceptable...NO! And (if and when Amanda ever decides to respond) will I accept that she's waiting on the manufacturer?...HELL NO! Not my first run-in with these incompetent service people since I bought the coach but this kind of rude/no-response behavior passes incompetent and goes straight into juvenile. What a poor excuse for a service team!!! read more

Experience was overall good. The salesman and thr manager took care of me. I am a repeat customer.

Damian over at Fun Town RV is a great guy to work with. I would definitely give him any RV related business in the future.

Kris was awesome. He listened to what we wanted and found us several options to look at. It's nice to be heard and not have someone try to put us in something we didn't want or out of our budget. read more

For my annual 15 pt inspection they and other places said there was about a 2 month wait but Waco said they could call me if there was a cancellation! I have been told hundreds of times that I would be called back for a cancellation and never had been in 50 yrs. They actually called me the next day had had me in within two days. I figured it would be a one or two week process, but they got my RV cleaned, inspected, Winterized, and taken care of in less than 3 hrs. I know there are a lot of bad reviews with FunTown RV, I personally have not had that experience. The service dept was very friendly, professional, and prompt. I hope to have continued service like this with the rest of my RVing needs. read more

I had been looking for a good 5th Wheel RV for a few months. Just could not find the right combination of a sales person and unit that fit our needs. Mandy at Funtown RV in Waco, Texas fulfilled that role with extreme knowledge and professionalism that impressed us. After haveing a complete walk-through of this unit, We knew everything we needed to know about it and ultimately, our next step was finance which was great experience as well. The delivery team and the tech that installed my fifth wheel hitch were all very professional and friendly. Thank you, Mandy, and your team for making this experience enjoyable. I recommend this team to anyone looking for a good customer service. read more

i gave them a 1 because I could not do anything less than that. What ever you do don't buy an RV from them. Their service is terrible, in fact they have no service. I will never buy nor have them service anything I own. I will never spend 1 cent with them. read more

It was sad. We had just purchased an RV and on our way state to state we had some difficulty with the awning. A piece had broken off in high wind. We stopped by Fun Town RV and spoke to the guy in the parts department. We described the part that we needed. Without searching the "parts guy" told us it would take months to get that part in. We left flustered. Once we got home we searched the Internet and found the part on our own. Fun Town RV gets a THUMBS DOWN from me. All it would have took is the "parts guy" to have had a little interest in our request. read more

First, let me say that we just purchased a new RV from Fun Town RV of Waco on 9/18/2017. When spending over $60,000 on an RV the experience should be excellent. I've never had such an indifferent and basically poor experience when purchasing anything of higher dollar value. I give our experience 3 stars ONLY because of Jason, the guy who did our walk through with us. He was the only person who even acted like he cared about us as the customer and yet he's probably one of the lowest paid employees. Frank, the salesman wasn't interested in us any longer after we purchased the RV. He didn't come out for the walk through and never bothered to check on us. Our appointment to pick up our RV was for 9:00 am. He informed us that they were running behind and we never saw him again until 11:30 when we decided to leave because things still weren't up to par and He happened to be standing outside. If your looking for great customer service this is not the place to go. As for our new RV, only a couple if things fell off inside as we're taking it home. We will be be taking it out camping soon. Hopefully, it will go well and we won't ever have to return to Fun Town RV because our experience was far from being fun!! read more

Find another rv dealership to buy from or for repairs. There's a good reason why they have so many one star reviews. One of their technicians did some moonlight work replacing a water heater in my fifth wheel. Didn't work. Refused to come back out and fix. I found that he had wired it incorrectly. Water heater now working. Makes me wonder what type of work he does when he is "on the clock". No cleanup of jobsite, ect. My daughter just bought a NEW fifth wheel from. them and after Fun Time set it up at an rv resort.....problems started occurring. All warranty work. Daughter called for a technician........that was three weeks ago. No one has shown up yet. I would strongly suggest looking at another dealer for your rv needs. read more

Sam Chung! What can I say. He really is the absolute fucking best. He worked with us for over a month on getting us in the right trailer. This is a message I posted far and wide on social media to warn others. BUYER BE WARE: FUN TOWN WACO, TX - CASTLE ROCK TIRES - FOREST RIVER PALOMINO PUMA Hey folks, just a warning. I know many of you are aware of the poor quality of the newer RVs these days and the industry's lack of response to consumers. I'm trying to get my dealership and the tire manufacturer to stand up and do the right thing. I need to incentivize them both by yelling from the top of my lungs. AVOID! I had a blowout yesterday on tires with less than 10K miles on them on a less than year old 5th wheel. The blowout ripped out some flooring, damaged the undercarriage and trim, while pulling wires out from the other side of the carriage. If you buy an RV, and they have CASTLE ROCK tires, insist that they be changed out. I'm going to be out $650 tomorrow for new tires and hundreds more to fix the damage. Despite that, thank God I wasn't injured and I didn't hit anyone on the road. I have a feeling these companies will wait until the worse happens. Well, I don't want to die to enact change! Demand better quality. It's pretty well known on the forums that these Chinese made tires are inferior. I wish I had known, now you do. Please enact caution. The tow truck said the tire looked like dry rot. I bought the rig 10 months ago. New. RV manufactures are getting away with this because of demand. My dealership denies responsibility because he's "Just the dealer". Yep, selling rigs with tires that blowout way prematurely, risking your customers' lives. Just the dealer. BE WARE good people. FUN TOWN WACO - not quality - "just the dealer". CASTLE ROCK TIRES....just say no! read more

Thank you to Mandy Ortiz for helping us with this purchase! She was very helpful throughout the whole project.

Witnessed the actual purchase from start to finish of a 5th wheel at Fun Town RV. What an unprofessional business. As everyone's knows you meet several people going through this process. And we met one we thought cared. The remainder of the contacts were unprofessional and just wanted the money and push you out the door. Unkept promises, removing a slide seal that was agreed to be replaced...removed. To be continued. read more

Ask for Mandy in sales department. She made buying easy after shopping everywhere!

We were halfway through a 2 month road trip when one of the ACs stopped working. Forrest River website said I had to find one of their dealers for warranty work. FT was the next closest. When I called, I got to Amanda pretty quick and she told me it would be impossible to even look at it for at least two months! While that is a horrible response, it's industry standard so I asked for suggestions. She was able to explain my options over the phone and even forwarded them via email within minutes of our conversation. Not at all happy with the way RV dealers' service departments nationwide maintain such crazy backlogs, but at least FT was able and INTERESTED in helping me get my issue resolved. Kudos. read more

First let me say Thanks! Thanks for pushing us away! Not only did we save another $2000 we got the travel trailer we wanted, WAY better rate, hitch and a very happy momma! You guys flat out lied to us for hours tried to get us into a much larger trailer then what we wanted and then had the tenacity to run our credit knowing the trailer we wanted "was technically sold before we even got there". Its all good though like I said before thank you for being liars, deceitful and just rude. We took our business to Demontrond RV in houston! Not only saved a bunch of money, got lifetime warranty, and bought an extended warranty on everything else, we were STILL under your asking price! People do your research before buying from these folks! I would give negative reviews if I could but it is what it is! **update, was contacted by the rv dealership in regards to my review. Well "negotiations" to get me to remove my review were insulting and disgraceful. Integrity is everything and just buyer beware.** Matt L. I am more then willing to show our text conversation. Which I still have. My integrity is worth more then 75$. Not once was there an offer to bring in another unit. So continue to be the deceitful lying dealership you continue to be. read more

Fun Town RV Waco - Text Conversation with Chris from the dealership. - RV Dealers Near Me - Hewitt, Texas

Firstly, They have a reputation for getting you to drive all the way down there for RVs that are already sold. I wish I could give this place zero stars, take your money elsewhere because your waste your time and money here My boyfriend and I decided to purchase an rv in new Braunfels, due to the sales man in Waco being very unprofessional. When I called to ask if they had the puma 31qrs he explained he would call me back to let me know. He then called and told us he had a 2018 and a 2020 available, though I was hesitant because I didn't see a 2018 online. I told him we were coming from Austin and that we wanted to make sure that the rvs were available. Due to the situation of my boyfriends truck no ready to pull the rv, and us renting one. He insisted that everything was good and to come on down. He said he would send us information via text and he never did. An hour into our drive he never sent anything so I assumed I gave him the wrong number. I called him back and asked if he got the wrong number because nothing was received on my end. He said no he got the right number but haven't and he would right then and there. Upon arrive he still had not sent anything back which was enough for me to see not much urge in selling, even though I was persistent about buying the puma the day of. Another younger salesman was standing outside ready to help. He asked what models we came to see and we told him. He then proceeded to say the 2018 was sold, and there was no 2020. We then ask to speak to mike (the salesman we talked to oner the phone)so showed us to mike and he introduced himself and told us we were going to look at the 2018. I then told him we'd like to look at the 2020 model first, then he told us that "oh, that was sold this morning, I'm sorry but there's nothing we can do about that". That is something he should have told us when we were on the way for our convenience. He then let us look at the 2018 we settled because it was cheaper and nice and we got a truck to come down there. We went back to do paperwork and were all set ready to do the credit check. He came back and told us that they sold the 2018 the day before, though he wanted to show us another unit just like it. I was very heated and frustrated because we drove the truck all the way to Waco for nothing. I told him no I did not, and we were tenacious on the puma and wanted nothing more. He left for a long time to go "check on something ". Came back and told us that he really wanted to show us another unit and I told him no again. He left again in the process we were looking into somewhere closer with a puma 31qrs. I was able to fine one at camping world of San Antonio, we called put a down payment over the phone. We arrived saw the unit did paperwork, though it was closing time by the time we finished everything we couldn't take it home. The next day we had the rv keys in hand and left with the rv we wanted. read more
