Went in today to just look today. No intention of buying. Still walked away as we had our minds set. However... that being said, meeting our needs and listening to our concerns, when the time does come (next 6mo) we will not be going anywhere else to get our camper! Everyone was so friendly! If I could leave 0 stars I would. Shortly after I posted a negative review ai was contacted by several people from Fun Town thinking that I would get my issues properly addressed. I was deceived into thinking we would get better communication from the manager at Funtown and it has now been two weeks and counting since I was told I would get a call back about a repair under the manufacturer warranty. Starting off the business seemed great. Now we feel we were sold a lemonade they don't care. We have had to replace the inverter only 6 months into owning it. There are dents in the kitchen floor they refuse to fix. There was a recall on the stove knob backlights and was not notified to us and ours actually caught fire. The level system has to be manually reset everything we move the camper. One slide out had a horrible leak and has made water damage and they will not come out and fix it. They said the work order was completed and no one ever came out. They are acting like everything is perfect on their end. Haven't givilen us a refund for the money we paid out of pocket to replace the inverter that was under warranty. Zero stars. read more

Went to Fun Town RV yesterday to obtain some information on what was wrong with my hot water heater issue on my fifth wheel RV. The parts guy was very helpful and got me in contact with Jim the RV Technician. Mr. Jim was very informative and provided me with the information I needed to repair my hot water heater. Jim is extremely knowledgeable, and his expert knowledge was spot on and it enabled me to go back and make the necessary repair on my water heater and saving me a ton of money on having a technician come, diagnose, and repair. Oh, the hot water tank on a Forest River Sandpiper Luxury 39 BARK is located in the front lower storage area near the Nautilus fixture and HVAC. Easy access once you remove a large panel. I will start with, I LOVE MY RV. I just wish I could go somewhere with it. I have no idea how to use it or even hitch it up for that matter. And i can't get any one to make an appointment for me at the location I need to have equipment installed in order to tow safely. (Tyler) So, I purchased 2022 Cherokee Wolf Pup about a couple of weeks ago. I worked with the Corsicana location who worked with me over the phone and through text in getting the deal all ready for the final step of signing and purchasing. That was wonderful! I was set to go in the following day to pick up, sign & pay as well as to go over anything & everything and have questions answered. This location is 2 hrs from where I live, so pretty far. But they worked with me and I did the same. It was around 3-4:00 when I got a call from the dealership asking me if I wanted to "close the deal today" and "have my rv before days end". They told me that it was "Friday and we would like to include my sale on the weeks sales report" and that "they could deliver my camper" for me (an xtra $300 expense for me) and I could "have the equipment installed the following week in Tyler with a 10% discount" (much closer to home). That sounded perfect! So I agreed. Plus, my salesperson seemed to have done a lot of work for me being at a distance & I wanted him to be paid the commission (if that's how they are paid). Even though I still had to stop at my bank, finish my daily dog tasks (6 dogs), and drive 2 hrs, I would "move forward hoping to arrive before they closed". My salesperson and the sales manager called my phone every 10-15 minutes asking my eta. And every time I told them I was 15 minutes closer than I was last time they called & I told them my Google Maps eta. Well I arrived very late. I attempted several times to just put it off to the following day as we had originally planned but they were prepared to stay as long as they needed to close the deal that day. Ok, I'm feeling rushed at this point & was kinda irritated by that. But still moving forward hoping to get it done that day. Which I did. I was told earlier in the process that my camper was at a different location and the soonest I could have it was the following day. Hence the reason for next day close on the deal. So it was strange to me that suddenly this was not the case. So I asked about it and they said they had one in stock that was "buried" and they had pulled it out for me. They assured me it was identical to the one I saw and purchased. I will never really know if this is true or not. I love the one I have so that's fine with me. Here i am, 2 weeks later. Dead battery because I know nothing about the equipment or how to charge. My camper is sitting in my driveway lifeless. I can't get my WDH installed because when I call Tyler for an appointment I get called back from another location too far to tow a camper I have no idea how to hook up. Sure videos can help me do this but they can't reasure me that my hook up is correct and safe. I can't find a place to have my brake controller installed. FTRV doesn't install these on Toyotas. I was told Toyota does this. My appointment at Toyota had proven this is not true. So I'm here with my dream purchase and can't do anything with it. I truely did not want to write this review. I had hoped to get my problems resolved. But it's just not happening. I hope to be on the road soon. We shall see. read more

First off I would like to say thanks to Tyler Clement he was a man of his word. I was a buyer from California and needed him to be accurate with what he was telling me and he most definitely was. When I arrived in Texas the price and the RV was completely accurate and do not change. I purchased a new FR3 34DS and it was in immaculate condition. Since the deal was prearranged before I arrived they had me driving away within an hour. This facility was very clean and organized. I also dealt with 3 other people and they were also 5 stars each. Matt Osborn, Bryant Fortune and Jeff Webb. I have now put on over 4000 miles on the RV drove to California to Florida and so far no problems whatsoever with our forest river. Half of the theater seating was missing and I have been trying for weeks to get a hold of Forest River to find out what the stock number was on the theater seating unit. I was not contacted back so I figured I had to get creative if I was going to be successful. I Sent emails out to dealerships and individuals who were selling 2021 Hemispheres that had matching theater seating that I was looking for. I needed the stock number that was located underneath the unit so I could have Lippert look in their inventory for a matching right arm to the unit. Fun town RV contacted me immediately and Kristion was sweet enough to go out to their travel trailer and send me a picture of the stock number. Now I will be able to move forward in my search... If you're looking for a camper this is the place to go! They are very helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy. They are very patient and are more than happy to look at the same campers over and over again just to make sure that it's for sure the one you want. If I could give this dealer zero stars, I certainly would. I recently purchased a used motorhome from them, experienced multiple issues before I could even take my first trip. Although we were told that the unit went through their multi point service inspection prior to sale, it's clear that nothing was ever touched on this rig before it was sold to me. The generator went out before our first trip, and it took being quite forceful with the dealer for them to fix it. When we picked the unit back up from that repair, suddenly the refrigerator went out. This was just one day before our first trip was planned. The dealer suggested that we quote maybe get some coolers and put ice in it ", as they didn't have time for us. Now on the road, we had to change a flat tire. Although we were told that all of the tires were brand new, we lowered the spare only to find out that it was a 2012 tire; useless, obsolete, and dangerous if used. The only thing this dealer cares about is making money; honesty and safety are clearly not their concerns. read more

My husband and I looked at an RV on 2.11.20 at Fun Town in Mineola/Tyler. We left a check for the deposit, in the amount of$1600.00. J J, told us if the deal didn't go through, he would tear up the check and send us a picture confirming. J J the sales manager, assured us the bank they used went solely on credit scores, that we wouldn't have anything to worry about. We left returning to Lufkin in hopes of owning a new 5th wheel. Tom Baxter was our salesman we had talked to on the phone and he happen to be off that day. Roberto was the temporary salesman who wrote up the buyers order and told us we wouldn't know anything more until the next day. We waited and waited on a phone call confirming our new purchase. We ended up having to call them over the next 3 days trying to get an update on the deal. Each time Tom Baxter assured us we were "good to go" and were awaiting the final wrap up from the bank. During the next 3 days, as we anxiously awaiting, they always told us "everything looked good and we could pick up the RV on Monday 2.17.20." The aggravating thing is each time we talked to J J or Tom, both lied to us assuring us everything looked great. Tom eventually called, to tell us, we would need to pay another $11,000.00 down. DIDN'T HAPPEN!!!!! NEEDLESS TO SAY THEY WENT SO FAR AS TO CASH OUR $1600.00 CHECK THAT CLEARED OUR BANK 3 DAYS LATER!!!!! You know the one they were SUPPOSE TO TEAR UP. I would NOT recommend "FUN TOWN TO ANYONE" who is purchasing a new RV. THEY LIE!! Oh and they told us their finance manager had left and the salesmen were having to do the finance work. I bought a mother home in May of 2019. It's been in the shop more than I've had it. Start at camping world.

This enterprise changed ownership not long ago. It's a smart looking strategic location that could serve a large region of retirees and outdoors fanatics very well. RV inspections could be had here anytime at least a year ago, but has now been relegated to 2-4 on Thursdays. "The machine" used to register with the state seems to be out of order commonly. I understand that inspections don't make any $$ but it should bring in foot traffic that could lead to sales. I hope the ownership isn't shooting themselves in the foot by deflecting inspections. Lone Star Dodge and Ford are happy to have your inspection foot traffic. They know that you might be looking for a tow vehicle one day and would love your business. read more

Just bought a used Motor home from FunTown. Our salesman Shaun was outstanding. Not pushy just very professional. The first deal they offered looked pretty good but we changed our mind on the day of closing. We had started looking elsewhere for a good unit and Shaun called back a few days later with a sweeter deal that we could not pass up. Closing went smooth, our finance fellow did good and we were ready for the walk through which was assigned to a young lady named Emily. She tried her best but was limited on her knowledge of the unit. The things she was unfamiliar with she located someone who knew about it. We noticed there was still quite a bit of dust on the interior but evidently they did not go through the inside before purchase. They filled up our tank with gas which we appreciated. When we got home there were a few issues which were solved on a help line and lots of you tube videos. read more
