beware of Shit Box I'll get you every blue and heater was not but the floor was eaten out because of years of water leak from a bad The extended warranty yet the mileage was set to zero on a used vehicle when it had when it had over 60,000 miles on it so the warranty was never activated When trying to correct the issue after taking it to a third-party vendor to have repairs done they discovered that it never been activated so when contacting blue to activate and following back up days later, I was told nothing had been done just nonchalantly so at that point I wanted to be able to cancel it completely I told they need to retroactive from the day I bought that was never activated and they said I don't think we can do that. But I told them they are going to do it and I need everyone support especially anyone that's had that to them to back me up. read more

Beware! We ordered a new RV in February. It was coming from another state. Before we could complete the transfer of ownership and pick it up, it was damaged on their lot in a hail storm March 15. The dealer said it is our responsibility to repair $15,000 worth of damages and it's never left the lot. We never got keys and they have not responded to any of our requests to resolve this. We are making payments on something we don't possess and have only seen one the trailer one time. We do not want to ruin our credit. We will have to use lawyers to get any results. I have reported to the DMV and AG office. The dealer will not respond to us. I have left VM, email and sent formal letters in the mail. They do NOT care about service at all. Just FYI, majority of their trailers were damaged in that hailstorm so beware when buying. Just know before you purchase. read more

Don't shop here. Worst customer service and didn't even get to buy anything. Me and my mom Inquired about a 2008 Big Horn for her and they never got back. Saw it advertised. I go and see it is parked WAY in back lot and not detailed but nice. She finally talked to a snuff chewing "Countryfield" today and now it's sold. They obviously reserved it for someone they know or their family. Huge lots and dirty gravel for such a big place it's hard to drive through and see anything because no real roads. They just lead you on. She also saw another marked low and they said it was a "misprint". Horrible service all around. read more

Shane is a conniving character and lacks integrity! Tried to swindle me out of $2K for a new awning, stated motor was burned out. He never checked it; we manually released and motor worked perfectly fine. Awning was stuck from pine tree sap and need initial manual release. Additionally, he stated he personally checked my trailer after $14K worth of work was done to roof and rear exterior. Again, he lied! We walked into trailer and found tools and trash everywhere. Then he lied again, promised to send check to cover cleanup; it never arrived. The overall repair was shoddy and lacked attention to detail. Be wary of this guy he's a fast talker that does not follow through! Take your business elsewhere! read more

Getting the runaround and getting told something different every time I call. I purchased a new motorhome from Blue Compass RV in Tyler, TX at the end of June 2023. After not hearing anything or receiving anything about the delayed start date for my Ford warranty I started asking questions. I was told by Blue Compass RV that everything has been submitted. I then contacted Ford Motor Company after 2 months and the only thing they show is that the original warranty started several months prior to my purchase. When I contacted Blue Compass again about this issue, they then told me that Thor Motorcoach would be the ones to enter the information for Ford. I contacted Thor and they said everything was entered properly yet Ford has still not gotten the information to update the warranty. Granted the warranty time I am losing is only a few months and 1,000 miles, but who knows when something will break. read more

We would dearly like to know if there is a dealer anywhere in the country that does service well. It sure isn't this one. Direct message me through YELP and I will regale you with details. Suffice to say that this organization has found a way to screw up a service opportunity in every way possible: from the paper work, to the communication, to the actual work. If you are considering buying any RV, do not be impressed with a great sales experience. First interview some customers leaving the service dept. And do not discount any negative reviews as "one offs." You'll kick yourself if you do. You will feel used and abused if you were warned and you gave them your money anyway. read more

WARNING: Do not go to this establishment!!! My 2021 brand new RV went in with a documented list of problems that will be fully covered by warranty May 27, 2022, and I pulled it out Friday August 5, 2022 finding out that none of those issues were resolved. My Rv is now worse condition than before and my warranty went out July 1st, 2022. You cannot trust these people with anything they say!! The manufacturer did NOT pay the dealership for the labor. They would like us to go to a different dealer and have them do the work right. From my experience I wouldn't recommend them to anyone at all! I'll tell you don't believe any reviews on Google. Google will sell ice water to the devil if he pays enough. The most dishonest RV dealer in Texas. i have purchased 6 RVs in 5 years. Stay away from this dealer if your lookin for any honesty at all. Dealer said prep work was complete and ready for our walk through "Lie #1" none of the prep work was even started much less completed, had to wait 3 1/2 hours while they completed the prep that they had 7 days to finish and said was complete. Then their service Tech raised the hitch pin plate 3/8" above the truck hitch plate (and I use the title service tech loosely) instructed me to back in to hitch up to hookup. The result was that the hitch jaws would not close properly. Then to my amazement he instructed me to pull forward and attempt this same procedure 4 times each time sitting the camper down onto the truck hitch. When the hitch failed to close and latch he replaced the hitch head out for a different one of same model. It to failed to close the jaws completely. He then used a hammer to bend the latch over far enough to go into the groove. Finally he told me that this normal for this hitch. I then realized that Jeremy was very incomplete tech So I decided the best thing to do is slowly ease our new pamper the 15 miles back home on back roads. after conferring with Reese manufacturing on this hitch the told me the proper method is for the Rv to be 1"'lower than the truck hitch and then what to look for in terms of damage to hitch Caused by attempting to hitch with camper above the truck hitch. I inspected it as they instructed and sure enough the jaw support bar had alarming wear on it caused by their service tech trying to hitch it up to high on approach And the 15 mile trip home. his boss Shawn the service manager defended Jeremy even screaming at me an saying that Reese manufacturing instructions were wrong. read more

Beyond disappointed with this company-more so the Tyler location. We are repeat buyers of ExploreUSA and customer service with our second camper has been horrible. We took our camper in for service 3 months ago to have repairs made while still under warranty. We got updates regularly, or lies rather, that everything was getting fixed. When we picked it up only 1 thing, ONE, was fixed. They wrecked the front of the camper tearing off the awning after parking another camper 2 inches away from ours. They allowed us to take our camper home with only 1 repair and absolutely filthy. Anof course blaming the customer always is good business, right? ExploreUSA has lost any repeat business from us. 6 months update: still not one thing fixed. In fact, there are more problems and their mechanics are all incompetent. Shane in service is very unprofessional and should be fired. I am appalled the treatment we are receiving. Shane informed us we should be the ones calling the outside companies to get our camper fixed. But.... shouldn't that be what you do since you're getting paid to do that? My wife sourced out ExplorerUSA, to consign our travel trailer. We traveled four hours to have them take care of business. They had my travel trailer for just about three months. They were not able to get my travel trailer sold. So my Wife and I made the trip to go pick it up. When we arrived they did not have the trailer ready for pick up. They lost all of our keys and all of our paperwork, including all the manuals. Plus our electric tongue jack was broken by someone that did not know what they were doing. The inside of the trailer was left filthy, that is not how it was left to them. A month later, still nothing resolved. Lost all hope and faith in this dealership. Worst service experience ever. Bought brand new Grand Design trailer a few months ago. Brought back for service. Issue was not fixed when returned to us. Along with that it was returned with several more issues including electrical and staples and saw dust all over the inside of the unit. Service manager stated his guys wernt in the unit long enough to make a mess. A couple months later we're going through Grand Design to have a mobile tech fix the issue and Explore USA in Tyler is now giving Grand Design and us the run around. read more

Absolutely the worst service ever. Bought a brand new RV from Explore USA and had some issues with the underbelly insulation, sagging. Offered to replace it and a few small ticket items that seemed very minor. Adjustment on stair alignment, a couple of leveling jack bolts frozen up and gray water tank drained extremely slow. Called to check on it from time to time and got the it's on order line. So we called and found out they had not received any calls from this dealer service department and this was after approx. 2 months setting on the lot. Still again a lot more calls and another approx. 2 months and got the RV back. Most of the work was of poor craftsmanship. Then got a recall item from Dometic on the oven/stove gas inlet, stating it must be replaced do not use. Called in to give all information on the recall, & emailed in the recall letter with detailed repair kit information included in the letter. Waited 4 weeks & called to check in the repair kit. I was told they would have to do more research on the repairs because the letter was vague. So I read to ED the exact parts listed in the remedy kit which was gaskets, washers and thread locking bolts. Then he said we done have an account set up for Dometic, I explained it was a recall item and to fill out the paperwork and there would be no cast, so then, blame was put on someone who was not there that day. So I waited exactly 1 month to the day I sent the email on the recall to check back again & was told they had not ordered the repair kit yet. I told them to forget it I would go to another dealership. The guy ED doesn't do his job or follow up with the customer. Sad excuse for someone who is SUPPOST to be RESPONCIABLE for the SERVICE DEPT. So moral of this story Tyler's store service department is HORRIALBE!!!!!!! These are the people that give service after the sale, A BAD NAME!!!!!!! Hope this review saves someone else from the complete dissatisfaction I received. read more

Great experience from start to finish. We visited several other RV sites in the area. We were caught off guard by the high demand/low inventory of pre-owned RV's due to Covid-19. Explore USA had by far the largest AND the cleanest inventory we found. The service was friendly, professional and top notch. We were greeted with a sincere smile and hello from the woman at the front desk when we arrived (Wendy?). Our sales specialist Nick was simply the best. Extremely knowledgeable in regards to all things RV. Very friendly and polite, and absolutely no pressure. He knew his "inventory" and was able to find exactly what we were looking for.
