BUYERS BEWARE!!!!! My family purchased a brand new 2025 Heartland Trailer at this facility. The trailer was manufactured wrong. Within days of purchase, water started leaking throughout the trailer. Holes in walls were found, and the oven did not work. They went in circles with the dealer. Christopher Allen the service manager and Casey Bryant the regional service manager failed to repair as promised. They blocked and hung up on the purchaser in order to fail to mitigate the damages. This was completely crooked. Since then, more water damage has occurred. The brand new trailer is sitting at a repair shop with "SIGNIFICANT DAMAGES AND STRUCTURAL ISSUES." (Currently almost 3 months in the shop AGAIN) The warranty company has sent them in circles as well. This trailer should be purchased back from this dealer but they will literally block your calls and attempts to remediate the situation. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Who sells a defected item an refuses to help fix it? Funtown is not Fun at all. You have literally caused so much termoil and chaos from your lack of response/warranty/assistance etc! If you only knew... In April 2025, we purchased a brand new 2025 Heartland Corterra. The second day we had it we noticed a hole in the floor straight down to the ground and a hole in the wall with exposed wires, both of which were hidden underneath a couch. I called the dealership and Craig Miller advised me to put some foil in the hole. That was only the beginning of our issues with this RV. In the 3 months we were able to use it, there were significant leaks due to the roof not being installed properly. Mold is growing in the walls, there is water damage and water leaking through the LED lights, the entire frame is cracked on the bedroom slide, which happened the very first time we brought the slide out. I could keep going. It is now December and our RV has been in the shop for almost 3 months consecutively. This does not include the times it has been in the shop before this. The issues are only getting worse and no one is taking responsibility. This water damage began before we took it off the lot in Conroe. We have had multiple RV repair shops say this RV never should have left the lot. Funtown RV signed off on an inspection that was clearly never done properly. The only time we get a phone call from Funtown RV is when they are asking us to take our reviews down or revise them to make them sound better. Funtown RV has screened all of my phone calls since I mentioned hiring a lawyer. This RV poses a health risk to my children and my unborn baby due to the mold growing in the walls, and exposed wires sticking out of the wall. It is a safety hazard to anyone driving around or behind this RV as it travels down the road, due to its now faulty frame. Our next step is reporting to the department of transportation. We want this RV bought back by Funtown RV or Heartland. We are still making monthly payments on an RV that has been labeled a lemon by multiple repair shops. Funtown RV needs to be held accountable for selling a product that is, at the end of the day, a danger to my family. read more

Made a service appointment for Saturday April 25th and drove an 1.5 hours to be told....that my 5,000.00 extended warranty (which is expiring 5-15-26) cannot be fulfilled without giving an additional 1,000.-1,200. I have to pay for them to look at each individual item. A point inspection service that looks at everything and determines whether it's under warranty and can be replaced/repaired. If I don't want to pay for that then for every item listed I'd pay a 99.00 fee (30 minute inspection) if determined that it's not under warranty. During the sale of my RV the snake told me it was a full stem to stern including floors and sides warranty....please please please do not buy anything here and if you want to anyways please don't be stupid like me and get a warranty that does nothing but expect more money. This place is a con job and needs to be shut down. I took video of the whole experience in today's transaction for proof and may use it later. Feeling a little litigious! read more

Let's start with sales, process was easy and staff were friendly. Within days, find one phone charger power station doesn't work, not even plugged in and we can't locate the outlet. No help from Funtown. So much for alleging everything was quality checked. Not in one month, crown molding in bathroom coming down. This was a 2025 model. Well it took them over 12 months yes 1 year to get my warrenty parts in. I have a appointment to get it all taken care of and they said two weeks maybe. That's with all the parts they need and with me waiting a year and having a appointment. I did not buy from them but they are the closest place that is near me to do Forest River Warranty work. THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY EXISTENCE. Never in my life have we been bullsh*tted more by an entire company as we have by Fun Town Rv. We purchased an "on sale" $115,000 toy hauler the East West Takoda "the best camper they had won awards yada yada". Upon pick up after they screwed us on our trade and I had to pull $20k out of my butt for a down with no notice I was not prepared to pay there were numerous issues. Blinker didn't work, lighting didn't work, scrapes scratches, sealing not in tact on a BRAND NEW UNIT. The entire experience changed once we signed on the line. They sold us a POS. On our first trip just 1 week later we had ongoing electrical issues. Slides wouldn't come in, lights flashing over and over, converter issues, inverter issues you name it. We sent it in for service. 2 weeks later after constant follow up and pressure because we had a family vacation to Florida approaching we find out they had JUST ordered the part. How convenient. After numerous phone calls they finally decided to overnight the part. We go to pick up the camper several days later on false hope because we were told it was fixed working great and ready. My husband sat around for 3 hours on top of driving an hour there and back and didn't even get to take it home because it in fact was NOT fixed. He went back the next day and it was "fixed". He took it home. Lights flashing same issues. Drove back an hour sat for 5 drove back an hour and was told we would have no issues. We were 2 days late and ate 2 days of lodging and Disney World tickets at this point. BOB the sales manager assured us that they fixed the issue. We finally get to Disney world with a rigged camper having electrical issues the whole way. Now we also have no hot water and no propane to cook with there are issues with the connection. We are now currently Incurring daily fees and penalty at the Disney World RV park because these people couldn't fix the BRAND NEW camper they sold us correctly. Our slides won't close, our levelers aren't working. Our trip is ruined and I will be SUING THE ABSOLUTE FREAKING CRAP OUT OF YOU PEOPLE for my unit and damages! read more

After leaving Camping World extremely overwhelmed and not exactly satisfied, we decided to take a look at Fun town RV in Conroe! Ryeland is hands down the best representative there. We are moving to Wyoming and decided we should take advantage of opportunity and purchase our first ever camper. We needed everything; a hitch on our jeep, weight distribution hitch, back-up camera, etc. He made sure that everything was taken care of and did so while keeping our excitement high and stress low. We narrowed it to down to two campers and he gave us his honest opinion, salesman aside, to make sure we were making the best choice for US! He was extremely knowledgeable and patient and was there for every single question. Didn't matter what time it was, we shoot him a text and he responds. We appreciated his energy and honesty. During the walk-through, Rick was awesome!! Extremely funny and made sure we really knew what was happening. He made sure we recorded important parts and was adamant that there were "no dumb questions". He wanted us to be as comfortable as we could be while driving off of the lot. Like the previous posts we had a seamless sales experience, its the service that has lost us. purchased a camper in 03/23 upon havIng issues we were told that we needed to wait 30 days to even get the camper in - we dropped it off and went through ALL of the issues and left after 60 + days the camper was not complete. We have called daily in the end and every other week in the beginning, after the newer lies started conflicting with the older lies we picked the camper up to get someone else to do the repairs. 10 months in and 5 months down. Update: On 2/1/20 we finall received our new cabinet door due to the one on unit bath cabinet being warped on purchase at pickup. It was supposed to have been replaced in October 2019. 4 months later we have received it and my husband has to put it on which requires installing all hard, to including drilling holes for panel placement. We would have had the dealer install but was concerned it would have taken them 4 more months. Don't purchase your Rv/trailer from fun town Conroe! It was the worst experience we have ever had purchasing a travel trailer. Staff are very unknowledgeable and dishonest! Consider shopping at Toppers RV in Waller. 11/19 Update - refrigerator was not fixable and they are replacing it. Thank you Dave and Jose for getting this finished for us!! UPDATE 2 - Pat called us back and said to bring it in and they would see what they could do. Dave the service manager is personally taking care of this. UPDATE - Have now talked to 3 different people.....2 were SALES managers when I have a SERVICE problem. They really don't care and take ZERO responsibility for the fact they may have damaged something while fixing the other things. Don't care that we need to go out of town and won't even try to get us in quickly to try and fix the problem. Aaron. never called back. Shawn said he would call back in10 minutes and 40 minutes later Pat Called. NONE of them even tried to help or cared that we had this problem. SO Glad w didn't buy the $80,000 camper we were looking at but sad that. Derek lost a sale because was great to work with. Not the sales that's a problem its the SERVICE after the sale. RUN RUN RUN to ANY other RV dealer but this one!!! We purchased a $30,000 camper and had to go back and get it the next day. Finally received an appointment to pick up and arrived 10 minute before our appointment. They were not ready and we ended up staying 3 hours past our appointment time before it was ready. Then a long and lengthy walk through process. USB ports stopped working, no idea how to set up the backup camera (apparently you have to have the headlights on to set up the camper back up camera but that was posted inNOTHING they sent us), hot water heater stopped working, kitchen sink leaked water everywhere. Arrived home and made an appointment thinking they would actually take care of it within a couple days. 2 weeks later we have to make another appointment to pick it up. Surprised they were not ready again and we waited 30 minutes while they washed it. Arrived home and plugged it in yesterday and now the refrigerator that was working perfectly before is no longer working. Surprise they are always in meetings or on the phone and nobody ever calls back. We were supposed to leave this morning for our Thanksgiving trip and for my nephews wedding and sitting here still waiting on them to just call us back. Going to miss the wedding because we need the refrigerator as 1/2 of the thanksgiving meal was made by me and needs to be refrigerated for our 2 day trip. Finally called another company and they are going to come and fixit for us. waiting on Funtown might be a 2 week wait. We almost bought another large camper from them and I am SOOO glad we didn't. Like others say we also felt like the warranty was shoved down our throats and then added to our loan so we had to pay interest on the amounts of the warranty. Just go elsewhere for your RV. The reviews are true and while the sales people are nice enough and want to make the sale, the services after the sale are nonexistent and nobody ever calls back. read more

The worst place to buy any RV! RUN! We purchased a $100,000 RV and was pressured into taking delivery during ice/snow storm! We were told no worries! No water was put into it! Well... they did put water in it. Now we are spending lots of money on an RV that was not lived in on water leakage everywhere! We were told by manage it was an act of God! Word of caution if purchasing Trailer from Fun Town,,, make sure everything is operational including the backup camera! Before leaving the lot!! We bought the first camper that was sold at this very location and they had no problem calling us and constantly making sure we were coming back in to purchase....well not even a year later our camper was stolen so I needed to call and get the warranty canceled and ask a question about GAP INSURANCE...three days I called trying to get someone to help only to have no call back or be hung up on. So today I call and I insist on speaking to a manager, after I finally got through there was ZERO apologies about the customer service and after he was done "helping me" he had the audacity to ask me to "BUY ANOTHER ONE" from them I very frankly said absolutely not. We are buying a new one and they would of gotten our business again had they not stopped caring about the customer after they got our money. I would get zero stars if I could. read more

After I had to pay for delivery by third party, it all went downhill quick. 13 days later, I had to call finance office to be told, 'yes my paperwork had been sitting on his desk' since signing after being told it would be placed in my RV. 13 days after signing I have a water leak that they say they didn't know about and aren't responsible for. No disclosure whatsoever. Funtown took total advantage of a 1st time buyer! I did my research, asked questions and was still taken. Buyer Beware - ...I am living full time in the RV and haven't been able to due to non disclosure of problems with RV. I purchased a 2021 Transcend, after another person returned it. Bought a gulfstream 268bh from them brand new. Now they were just worried about selling the thing the seller even saw my awning brake was broken from the word go and service and all still does not k ow if that part is in yet. They will try to sell you extras the 1400 dollar weight distribution hitch is 600 bucks online. Oh they will wait til the day you are suppose to pull out and tell you hey you have to have trailer brake here's our it's a 300 dollar one they try to keep adding stuff to it like your pressured. Then the quality of rv they sale is not the greatest my 33 thousand dollar rv has a slide that leaks in two places. Oh the black tank is tied into the shower with no check valve that's some nfpa stuff they will find out by me soon enough, we had a leak under the kitchen sink that warped the bottom of the kitchen cabinets, a leak under bathroom sink, the roof on the slide you can pick up on the sheet of roofing. Not the best of work and even when i sold ac units i guess my honest with customers is why i wasnt a millionare but i could sleep at night. We will be able to have this rolling lemon looked at on dec 13th but ive heatd even from a fun tech oh itll probably be there for awhile then ive heatd they use stall tactics because of wartanty as well i will definitely not use fun town when we trade in or at this point get a different rv.​ read more

If I could give this place, no stars I would. Went and bought a $70,000 unit from them and when went for the walk thru. Notified the person that it felt stuffy in the camper. Told us the AC was on the wrong setting so we believe them shortly after that we left got home plugged in camper. The rear AC was not working check the settings and was not kicking on the compressor. Had to take the unit back then had to fight with service to get AC ordered and replaced for like two months also before we took the unit, the leveling jacks were not working correctly. Told us they would work on it when we took it back for the AC work we had to reach out to Arctic wolf manufacturing to track our AC unit, as soon as it was delivered, we called them to install it. Then we went to pick up our camper and told them we wanted it plugged in to test the AC and we get there and the guy tells us that the AC is working great so we say OK let's check it out. When we walk in to check it's hot again and the AC was still blowing hot. I know we are super frustrated. He gets a technician to look at it and he said there was something unplugged. But what's crazy is the service advisor was telling us that it was working fine. The day before is just lie after lie. Then he told us they fix the jacks, so we tried the jacks, and they also did not work. then they started to try to fix the jacks for like five hours and they didn't figure it out. I ended up calling Lippert myself and ran through diagnostics and couldn't figure it out. So I called Ron Hoover in South Houston and they had a great service team. I took it in on a Saturday and they called me by Tuesday with an update and by Thursday they were done with the repairs. All this was done under manufacture warranty. I highly do not recommend Funtown Rv not a great experience. read more

Had a very positive experience with Funtown RV in Conroe. It's an hour drive from where we love so it was great to not have our trip there wasted. Derek Stoner spent many hours with us in and out of various travel trailers helping us compare each against another. He was informative, enjoyable and no pressure at all. When we finally did decide, he was patient as we tried to determine financing options. When it was to go back and sign papers and do our walkthrough, Larry Pickens, the finance manager was very low key and very friendly. He did do his job and tried to sell us various warranties. We were ok with that. The woman that did our walk through, Kathy, was awesome too. She spent hours with us helping us get to know our new rig.
