I moved to Conroe June 2025, to be closer to my daughter and my first granddaughter after my…read morehusband was killed in a car accident June of 2023. At the time of the move we were living in a Airbnb and was spending entirely to much money, and after a month I was still unfortunately still looking for work and I was reduced to living in a hotel with myself and 5 children and that was an extremely hard experience. As I filed out several applications for not only apartments, and houses I couldn't find anyone that was willing to allow me to rent because I had an eviction on my name. The first eviction was due to my husband being killed and I could no longer afford the rent for that place, I then rented a different place and one month before my lease was up the rental agency evicted me and put that on my credit and to me that wasnt fair all because she didn't want me to renew another lease. I then rented an apartment paying double the deposit because of the eviction which was fine I then started working for said complex a month after I moved in, and didnt get any sort of credit off my rent regardless of the fact I was employed and working even doing work on my days off and the weekend, I always paid my rent yes I paid it late however I paid all late fees without problems and they fired me and kicked me out within the same week and didn't give me a chance to pay my rent, and they then put that on my credit so that gave me 3 eviction in a 2 year span and that doesn't look good and no one cares to listen to why or what happened to only see the evictions. I finally found residence RV and they approved me to rent. Yes it's small but I promise is so much bigger and better than the hotel, I have a kitchen, and all my kids have a bed or a place to sleep without being on the floor or cramped in 2 beds, I have a address, and my children were able to start school in a home with an address vs starting a school living a hotel. So this place gave me a since of being a good mother and gave me the opportunity to give my children a starter home until I am able to have a good rental history good enough for someone other than this place that will be willing to take a chance and rent to me a home or an apartment big enough for my family. But being that they gave me a chance was a wonderful blessing and I appreciate everyone that works here for giving me a chance to rent. Kyle is amazing and one of the kindest people in the office, Melba is the sweetest and always willing to try to help, John is very sweet as well and does try to help also. I have been extremely blessed living here I have the most amazing neighbors, and living here has shown me that there are still wonderful ppl in the world that still believe in it takes a village to raise children and we all look after each other's children. I have gained 2 amazing wonderful friends that I believe I will cherish the rest of my life. Ans I have also gotten a few friends that are very good ppl as well. So I am extremely appreciative of the people at Residence RV and the fact that they give people a chance to get up on their feet and give them a place to call home for a while

nice place to stay and relax and have peace, rent is acceptable and clean would go back if I need…read moreto.

Our family recently rented a 43' bus from them and the experience was awful…read more To start off, none of the tank sensors worked correctly so we had no idea how full the black, grey, or fresh water tanks were. The only way we knew how full they were was based off whether the sink would drain. The rear master bath toilet wouldn't flush even fluid, so we all had to share the central toilet. While that's just a convenience, it's something that shouldn't happen in any world. The master bed motor wouldn't work so we had to physically lift the bed and disengage the motor so that the bed would fold out. When we had a technician inspect the motor, we found that there was a CPAP mask left under the bed which is disgusting. The lights in the bunk beds didn't work and TX RV adventures had no idea that they didn't until we pointed them out. They didn't do a full walkthrough of their own RV and it showed. The satellite tv wouldn't connect and the speaker system wouldn't connect to the tv. While that might've been user error, TX RV Adventures were relying on their little video to be the full walkthrough which it wasn't. The jack system wouldn't level correctly any time we tried to use it and it took multiple times to level the bus. It would regularly freak out and we would have to reset the system just to get it to work. Since we didn't have an actual walkthrough, we had to figure this out on our own which was extremely frustrating. The ac system was extremely loud and the sensors were off because the bus was either 76° or 60°. There was no in between. On our way home, the bus lost power because the turbo wouldn't build boost so we could only go 30 mph on the free way. Luckily, the engine built power after we turned it off and let it sit for a bit, but we still had the issue with losing power. While traveling home, the hydraulic hoses started leaking, so we weren't able to use the slide outs on the bus. When we got home, the mechanic told us it was a small leak and opened the slide which caused the bus to dump almost a gallon of hydraulic fluid on the street in front of our house. To top it off, Lauren herself said they had issues with Thor motor coach's paint quality and scratching with the slightest touch when she came to our house. After we returned the bus, TX RV adventures is now trying to file a claim against us to get the paint fixed even though they themselves admitted that the paint was of inferior quality and we did our best efforts to prevent trees from scratching it. When you're spending 5 figures on a rental bus, you want it to be as stress free as possible. This bus caused more headache and stress than it was worth and TX RV Adventures was as helpful as a box of nails. I do not recommend renting a bus from here. Edit: to top it off, TX RV Adventures is trying to deny that there were faults with the rv like the bed lights and bed motor.

This was our first rental from TX RV. We rented a 43 ft diesel pusher for 14 days. The experience…read morewas miserable from the time we drove to our first camp site. We spent 3 hours waiting on a technician to help us figure out why the jack leveling system wouldn't work. He finally told us how to reset the controls, and it worked. As a result of the wait, we missed a dinner with some dear family friends that have a new born. In addition, the power to the master bed did not work. We had to pull the cotter pin from the drive shaft and reinsert it every time we wanted to raise or lower the bed. The bus lost turbo boast on the way home. Luckily we have experience with diesel engines are were able to get the bus running again after a reset. Lastly, the hydraulic lines to the rear jacks blew a hose and we are not able to level the bus or put the slides out for the last couple days. The bus dropped a gallon of hydraulic fluid in the street in from of the house while we were unloading. Spent about 2 hours cleaning us that mess! Now, TX RV is complaining that we put some new scratched on the bus, and our "compensation" for all of the issues above is that they will cover the insurance deductible. Terrible place. DO NOT rent from them.

The make ready and training was done thoroughly and timely. Since then, we've had two "show stopping" issues while on the road- both times the service department was EXTREMELY helpful and walked us through what we needed to do to be able to enjoy the rest of our trip. Although we do have an extended warranty and we could have enlisted a mobile RV service to fix the problem, it was easier to just fix it ourselves and the service department made it easy to do so. I highly recommend this team.

Worst experience I've ever had purchasing something this expensive…read moreThe manager Amy did her best to help But it's been a huge ordeal I went in physically into the store to replace a propane tank that was leaking (brand new $80k} The unit wasn't ready for pick up to begin with we went in and gave our money for the sink to be leaking the hot water heater did not work, speakers were not functioning light weren't hooked up. And they knew about it a week in advance showed up two days next transport still wasn't fixed They narrowly got the sink fixed Most was corrected before pickup Only to get it on site and power it up to find additional issues The service department and specifically Sarah had the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced especially during the walk through two days before transportation She was extremely rude and disrespectful Saying that light weren't there when there were clearly lights because of the switch Not sure how someone so rude can be a manger I should have read the reviews and went elsewhere The service is who you have to interact with after the happy people who's jobs it is to take your money Then your left with the rude service manager to deal with On top of going in last weekend I was told time after time that a service guy would call me all week has gone buy not a single call of voicemail from service Even the salesman Santiago called to verify he would call me I confirmed again 5 days go by without a call from anyone. Still with a brands new 80k unit my bathroom door is not in track sliding against the floor and now trim in the kitchen is popping. VERY DISAPPOINTING The manager Amy have been very nice in helping with some gift cards and some free stuff from their Shop But my issue are the problems with my unit Which she told me in person that she would take care of. Can't take care of anything if I never get a call from service. Sales and finance are good But I don't live locally and they knew that Wish I never did business here unfortunately This has felt like a incredibly bad mistake going here Unit is very nice I have literally just a few small issues and it's pulling teeth to try and get anything done
