I moved to Conroe June 2025, to be closer to my daughter and my first granddaughter after my husband was killed in a car accident June of 2023. At the time of the move we were living in a Airbnb and was spending entirely to much money, and after a month I was still unfortunately still looking for work and I was reduced to living in a hotel with myself and 5 children and that was an extremely hard experience. As I filed out several applications for not only apartments, and houses I couldn't find anyone that was willing to allow me to rent because I had an eviction on my name. The first eviction was due to my husband being killed and I could no longer afford the rent for that place, I then rented a different place and one month before my lease was up the rental agency evicted me and put that on my credit and to me that wasnt fair all because she didn't want me to renew another lease. I then rented an apartment paying double the deposit because of the eviction which was fine I then started working for said complex a month after I moved in, and didnt get any sort of credit off my rent regardless of the fact I was employed and working even doing work on my days off and the weekend, I always paid my rent yes I paid it late however I paid all late fees without problems and they fired me and kicked me out within the same week and didn't give me a chance to pay my rent, and they then put that on my credit so that gave me 3 eviction in a 2 year span and that doesn't look good and no one cares to listen to why or what happened to only see the evictions. I finally found residence RV and they approved me to rent. Yes it's small but I promise is so much bigger and better than the hotel, I have a kitchen, and all my kids have a bed or a place to sleep without being on the floor or cramped in 2 beds, I have a address, and my children were able to start school in a home with an address vs starting a school living a hotel. So this place gave me a since of being a good mother and gave me the opportunity to give my children a starter home until I am able to have a good rental history good enough for someone other than this place that will be willing to take a chance and rent to me a home or an apartment big enough for my family. But being that they gave me a chance was a wonderful blessing and I appreciate everyone that works here for giving me a chance to rent. Kyle is amazing and one of the kindest people in the office, Melba is the sweetest and always willing to try to help, John is very sweet as well and does try to help also. I have been extremely blessed living here I have the most amazing neighbors, and living here has shown me that there are still wonderful ppl in the world that still believe in it takes a village to raise children and we all look after each other's children. I have gained 2 amazing wonderful friends that I believe I will cherish the rest of my life. Ans I have also gotten a few friends that are very good ppl as well. So I am extremely appreciative of the people at Residence RV and the fact that they give people a chance to get up on their feet and give them a place to call home for a while read more

I was living in a hotel at 347 a week. I came to this place via a friend and pay 250 a week instead. They have accommodations for dogs which I have 2. The staff are all friendly. Problems get solved now. It's really a great plave to live. They have trailers and tiny houses. It really is a great place to live read more

I enjoyed my stay here of approximately 8 months. Staff and neighbors were always friendly. You can tell they care about what they do. Maintenance issues were always addressed immediately. The owner continued to make upgrades in lighting, sewage, and laundry facilities, just to name a few. The community is clean, quiet, and safe, and the manager is honest. I paid half what a hotel was costing me here. They even let you pay weekly and allow you to make your deposit in payments. How many places do that? I would definitely stay here again. read more

If anyone asked for a recommendation for a place to stay that makes you feel at home with a nice community and helpful staff this is the place to be. This quaint place has some of the nicest staff members that really take time to know you personally and are helpful with anything that you may have issues with. I would stay here again for sure. This is a last resort and I didn't want to have to publicly place this info on their Google reviews but the owner refuses to call or simply reply to my email. I lived there a little over a month with an ex. Things we're bad and I decided to leave. Of course I went into the office the next day as the day I left was a holiday, and wrote on a piece of paper that I was to be removed from the lease effective immediately(kinda poor business that there was not an actual form to fill out). I paid a pet deposit on April 30th(or around that day but before the 1st) and it was my dog I was bringing so no big deal. Well I asked the office what the process would be(specifically Kyle) to get my pet deposit back. He told me it shouldn't be an issue the management just needed to do a walk through and they needed to make sure with my ex(who still currently lives in the same unit) that the pet deposit was to be returned to me. They spoke with him (melva and kyle) and he make them aware it was to be returned to me, he also gave them permission to go into his unit at anytime to complete the walk through. So I gave them some time and called about a week later, still the walk through had not been done. I had spoken to my ex who told me when he spoke to melva in the office that the owner Dale was there at the time and as he was hesitant to do the return he agreed. I do know when people split it can be a messy situation but it was not with us as he gave permission for the walk through and made it abundantly clear the deposit should be returned to me. So I made a few calls back to the office a few times to see how they were coming, melva decided to give me attitude on the phone one day saying they weren't going to do the return because it supposedly stated in the lease that the pet deposit would not be returned until all parties vacated the unit, however, I read both the unit lease and the pet lease and neither states that.(so I admit I was a bit angry that pet deposit was all I had waiting for me as far as money went because my ex put me in a very bad place financially, even though I know that is not their fault I assumed as decent humans they would be willing to take care of this for me because I had never had an issue with any of them prior to this. I called Friday June 11th and spoke to melva and she stated she completed the walk through and had a check written but that the owner was also a pilot and just left for Germany and would be back in 3 to 5 days. So I waited until Wednesday the 16th to call back because they never could pick up the phone to call me even though I left my number several different times and it was on the paper I wrote when I wanted off the lease. Kyle was nice and let me know he had a stack of employee checks the owner had to sign and he saw my check in there as well also waiting to be signed by the owner and that they were expecting him Thursday morning and he would give me a call to let me know I could come get it. So again I waited and again no call, so after 12pm Thursday I called again and another gentleman answered the phone...rude I might add and basically told me they had talked and just decided they didn't want to give me the deposit back and again tried to tell me it was in the lease, and I again stated no it wasn't. Melva got on the phone and again with her attitude and I was already upset, as I was and am counting on the return, she decided to tell me the own decided he didn't want to issue the return. So I asked for his contact info and she gave me his email. I emailed him shortly after that call on Thursday and still have yet to receive an email back or a phone call and I gave it twice in the email. Im sorry but this whole experience has just shown me how bad of a business they are running. Yes it is nice to have a week to week rent and no actual permanent contract and the prices are basically the same as a 1 bedroom apartment if you add up the weekly expenses for the month. Im very unhappy with the way this manager does business...all I asked for was a call and we could work it out. He can't even do that read more
