I had to take them to court after they completely ignored my phone calls and texts regarding a job. Despite receiving a legal judgment, it turned out to be just a piece of paper when dealing with them. My attorney discovered that I'm not alone--there are other judgments against Ricks RV Rentals and Repairs. I've attached another judgment I found through public records to highlight the pattern. At the time of the move we were living in a Airbnb and was spending entirely to much money, and after a month I was still unfortunately still looking for work and I was reduced to living in a hotel with myself and 5 children and that was an extremely hard experience. As I filed out several applications for not only apartments, and houses I couldn't find anyone that was willing to allow me to rent because I had an eviction on my name. The first eviction was due to my husband being killed and I could no longer afford the rent for that place, I then rented a different place and one month before my lease was up the rental agency evicted me and put that on my credit and to me that wasnt fair all because she didn't want me to renew another lease. I then rented an apartment paying double the deposit because of the eviction which was fine I then started working for said complex a month after I moved in, and didnt get any sort of credit off my rent regardless of the fact I was employed and working even doing work on my days off and the weekend, I always paid my rent yes I paid it late however I paid all late fees without problems and they fired me and kicked me out within the same week and didn't give me a chance to pay my rent, and they then put that on my credit so that gave me 3 eviction in a 2 year span and that doesn't look good and no one cares to listen to why or what happened to only see the evictions. I finally found residence RV and they approved me to rent. Yes it's small but I promise is so much bigger and better than the hotel, I have a kitchen, and all my kids have a bed or a place to sleep without being on the floor or cramped in 2 beds, I have a address, and my children were able to start school in a home with an address vs starting a school living a hotel. So this place gave me a since of being a good mother and gave me the opportunity to give my children a starter home until I am able to have a good rental history good enough for someone other than this place that will be willing to take a chance and rent to me a home or an apartment big enough for my family. But being that they gave me a chance was a wonderful blessing and I appreciate everyone that works here for giving me a chance to rent. Kyle is amazing and one of the kindest people in the office, Melba is the sweetest and always willing to try to help, John is very sweet as well and does try to help also. I have been extremely blessed living here I have the most amazing neighbors, and living here has shown me that there are still wonderful ppl in the world that still believe in it takes a village to raise children and we all look after each other's children. I have gained 2 amazing wonderful friends that I believe I will cherish the rest of my life. Ans I have also gotten a few friends that are very good ppl as well. I tried renting 3 ATVs for the first time for my husband's birthday only a week before the event…read more Living in Houston, there was a flash flood warning a few days before the event was due. I reached out asking if they think it will be ok still to drive in that condition, and their response was I should take caution as it gets muddy quick and the park's river may swell. Since it's my first time ever, that was a little scary to hear. Well, the flash flood warning was still in effect the afternoon before the event, so I asked if it would be ok to cancel since I don't want to put anyone at risk. They said they have a strict 50% no refund policy 14 days before the event. I asked if this is still the case with a possible natural disaster. I would literally have to wait until the morning of to see whether I can still throw this birthday party or not, or to try to put something together last minute. They thought it was fair to charge me $150 for cancellation. If they incurred a loss, I'd understand. I'll have to disagree with them charging me since booking only one week in advance and having a flood warning advisory, I doubt they lost any money due to not renting it out to another potential client. I'd like to think I'm a pretty fair person, but in this case, I would say I highly disagree with how they handled this situation and wanted to make a quick buck. I couldn't even get anyone on the phone the 3 times I called! Needless to say, I originally had high hopes to rent from them in summer, but will definitely not be dealing with this company again.

The pools were not clear and the pools are honestly 1990 pools. The water splash pad was not on and the seating was faded. The street signs are peeling and need to be updated especially on the important roads that lead to the properties and amenities. Its like no one updates or up keeps the pools or any amenities. There was bee hives on the playgrounds old decking. Looks like the buyers who purchased in 2017 had better times there cause as of now theres nothing to do did I mention the roads are very bumpy.

I paid $884 for this inspection, despite the website listing $750 for a Class A motorhome inspection. I relied on this inspection to move forward with the purchase. Unfortunately, shortly after taking delivery of the RV, multiple significant issues became apparent that were either missed or not properly documented in the inspection report. Key concerns: The dash AC system was not functioning and required a major repair (evaporator replacement) Both rooftop AC system had a clogged drainage issue that caused water intrusion into the interior The driver-side slide had functional issues present at deliver A rear oil leak was identified immediately after purchase Evidence of prior fiberglass/structural repair was visible but not meaningfully documented in a way that reflected the true condition or impact There were numerous other issue Reese overlooked during his inspection and neglected to highlight on his report. Additionally, I later confirmed with Reese that verifying AC functionality is a standard part of a pre-purchase inspection, yet there was no clear documentation or indication this was properly tested. I reached out to Reese to address these concerns. He initially indicated a willingness to refund the inspection fee, but ultimately stated he was unable to do so due to financial hardship. The conversation then became unprofessional and included statements unrelated to the inspection itself. At the end of the day, I paid for a professional inspection and relied on it in making a significant purchase decision. Based on my experience, several material items were either missed or not properly communicated. My recommendation to others: Ensure all major systems are explicitly tested and documented Ask detailed follow-up questions before relying on any inspection report Consider a second opinion for high-value purchases I hope this helps others make a more informed decision.
