This is a larger RV Resort just north of Houston. I started a one year trip across the US at the beginning of 2026 and it's my first time in an RV so I may not have a lot of perspective on what to expect for an RV park. However, this is my third " resort" so I feel confident giving an opinion. Overall and considering the monthly rate of around $30/night plus electric I'd say it's ok. Not great and not terrible. However there are certainly a few things that need to be changed for me to give a better review. We had some very cold/freezing weather that really wreaked havoc with their water lines. They shut them off in advance of the deep freeze which is understandable but since then the water has been shut off for repairs three separate times including today. The overall upkeep of the park could use some work as well. About half of the laundry machines don't work and the picnic tables that come with each spot are in dire need of replacement. Many of them including mine have rotted wood which is embarrassing when having guests over. The main gate doesn't work and was supposed to be operational for a while now but is not. I would also guess that at least half of the spaces are filled with permanent campers and many of which are definitely way past their prime. Calling this a resort is a bit of a stretch. One of the other issues that I have to point out is the frequent presence (especially at night) of freight trains which are adjacent to the park. If you are a light sleeper you will have problems with the trains blaring their horns through the night. As for the clientele, from what I can tell, most people keep to themselves and I guess that can be expected when half of the spots are filled with permanent campers and not people on vacation. The staff is decent and helpful and they do have scheduled activities for many evenings and the public spaces of the lake/clubhouse/grill pavilions are nice and clean. The spaces are large enough to park your rig and two cars and the grassy area is usable with decent space and many trees. The weather was too cold for me to try out the pool and hot tub so I am not able to comment on them but they seem decent and clean. I also did not use or look at the public bathrooms and shower facilities. Next time I am in the Houston area I will probably look for a different place to stay. Overall, considering the low price, you could do worse, but I think you could also do better for not a lot more money. read more

For starts, I'm a disabled veteran with a 12 year dog whom is disabled as well ,at any rate I was constantly harassed by Tabatha for my dog not being in a leash,well he has lumps on his neck and can barely walk , all while I have seen many dogs at the front office without leashes. And at the pool but no I was reprimanded. So I told her to stop harassing me and she said writing a letter of to evict .So she did and I told f,,,,off ,.I sdk f for my r fund cause I had paid the full month and they charged some weekly and Daly Rate which escalated the fees far more then the monthly fee...scandalous scumbags ...I can't stand when business take advantage of disabled veterans...So id reconsider this location read more

Our house was extremely clean and tidy, a lot of space and two TVs, had plates and cups available for us to use as well along with plenty of towels. We asked for extra blankets and our amazing house cheaper gave us plenty! They also have a full stocked lake for catch and release fishing, and a game room that has a pool table and gym. Couldn't forget their Hot-Hot HOT TUB ever single thing was perfect 10/10 will come again!!! read more

Nice Place, Great People! Very clean and well-kept location with truly wonderful people. When we arrived, we had an issue with our motorhome. The staff immediately gave us a reliable contact, and to our surprise, everything was resolved smoothly and professionally. We arrived with a flat. 45 ft trailer and 22 ft truck! A gentleman approached us to help. My husband asked if he worked there, he said no. Well, the next day, he was to be the manager! The tire air hose was missing a part. This wonderful gentleman returned to his home and provided us with his personal air compressor. He is just the most kind soul. So professional. He hoped it didn't diminish our customer experience as he was concerned his guests have a top notch visit. We are over the top thrilled with his hospitality and generosity. The park is lovely. Started my RV Adventures here last month. 2.5 miles from where I live so it was a breeze moving things from the house to here. Prices are very high though or I'd have given 5 stars. Unlike other parks they charge by pad size as well as location and the also charge a high electric rate. The first two weeks the only option I had was a 65 foot pad at $717 a month.I was only in it for two weeks before moving down to a $643 a month 35 foot pad but the electric was $80 for those two weeks. Granted it was because the RV I bought only had 1 AC and it ran constantly for those two weeks. Luckily they have people who come here to work on your RV so I had them install a 2nd AC in the bedroom with a dropcord since I only have a 30 Amp system. Now they keep the RV cool and shut off for long periods. I'm hoping my final electric bill is more reasonable. The park is nice and clean, needs more shade to cut down on the heat but trees only grow at the rate trees grow at. Hopefully the shade will improve as the park ages. The staff is very friendly and nice. Neighbors all seem nice. I am leaving however at the end of my current month for a more affordable location in New Caney that charges much less for their pads. (Hundreds less). All in all, it was a great starter location for me and my needs but I wouldn't want to be here full time. Mainly because I'm on a fixed income. read more

We found this gem of an RV Resort while visiting Houston to see our most recent grand child ... Hello world ... it's Sophia Ann! Always looking for a nice quiet park ... this one came with a nice club house, WIFI, a pool, hot tub, clean bathrooms, two dog walks, a pretty lake with a fountain and catch and release fishing, handy laundry and vending, and even a decent restaurant called the Potatoe Patch right outside the back gate. Speaking of gates, this is a gated park, and it makes you feel safe and secure, with fences bordering the park, and patrolled by cows and horses ... yep ... welcome to Texas. The park is managed by a lovely couple, Gary and Frances, who are friendly, helpful, thrifty, brave, reverent ... wait, wrong list ... but Gary is a retired member of Houston's Finest, and it's comforting to know that in a way, he is still on the job! The sites are all large, well taken care of, have concrete pads, full hook-ups, cable TV, WIFI at each site, lighted power pillars, 10/30/50 Amp service, and more. The streets are double wide, and make getting into that pull-through or back-in a very easy task. I slid my 28 foot TT into a back-in with some mature shade on the first pass. Not all sites have mature shade, this park is only about a year old ... but they have planted a bunch of trees, one per site minimum, so further shade will develop. They also have outdoor kitchens you can use, an outside bar with TV for sports parties, and a rocking chair porch overlooking the lake and fountain. As far as this RV Resort goes ... "it doesn't suck much!" ... to borrow a descriptive phrase. Give this place a try. p.s. It is close to a really good Whataburger on FM 1960, and Donuts and Kolaches for breakfast are just a bit further. read more

If you like staying at overpriced RV parks with rude employees this is it. Supposedly they clean the camper your rent once a week. Have been left with no towels several times even my own towels that I purchased was taken from the camper I was renting. Heaven forbid you leave a dirty bowl in the sink from the night before and get up and go to work the next morning without cleaning it. Or your wife leaves a bottle of milk on the counter that she just got done feeding your child with and steps out so they can "clean" just to send you emails saying how filthy that is. The front gate never works and your vehicles get broke into nightly. Worst service and most unsafe place in the Houston area. read more

This place is nice to stop through but after staying a couple of months I am looking for something else. Its clean but if you want internet you can forget about it. The WiFi is horrible. It works at about .5Mbs on avg... Cant even watch low quality Netflix. If you call about it they just say it is Comcast and nothing can be done. I dont know about you but if I'm paying for a better park to stay in it should at least have a decent internet. read more

Giant parking lot in the ghetto, the area is run down and no good options for shopping. No trees at all for shade so expect your electric bill to be $200 plus per month if you run 2 AC units. It's overpriced because it has a few amenities like a pool that is always overrun with kids. Management runs park like a prison, and their attitude is that you're lucky to be living there. You can look forward to having them jack up your rate with no notice I had been there 2 months and they were nice enough to leave a note on my truck telling me they are raising rent 3 days before it's due.. They make money off your electric bill at .14 per KW. What are you paying for electric Northlake? If I'm living there month to month shouldn't I have option to use my own provider? I'd drive past this place because there are better options. Expect to pay over $750 + per month after they screw you on electric. read more

Hello. I saw a low score review and wanted to share my experience with Northlake as it deserves a higher score than represented. I have lived here for 4 months after living at Rayford Crossing (equally nice). I'm on the outer perimeter. My area is filled with folks who live here or stay a few nights a week for work. As a whole, Northlake is clean and very well maintained. The grounds are mowed and picked up regularly. They SPRAY for mosquitoes and bugs ALL THE TIME. I really like that because you don't have mosquito and ant warfare to conduct while hanging outside at night. The laundry area is great. They use a prepaid card system. At first I was annoyed because I showed up with $40 already in quarters however the card system is far superior. The shared outdoor cook areas are vigorously cleaned everyday. I see the same people out there everyday working hard to keep the areas sparking (low employee turn over). They usually have 3 people at the front desk. Always someone there to help. Internet is FREE and I stream on it all the time with tons of devices... computer, 2 tablets, 2 cell phones, playsstation, TV streams hulu, Netflix and Amazon. The pool is really clean too. Lots of friendly people hanging out. The rv park tries to maintain that dog poop be picked up but there's a few people with large breeds that are bad picking up near the large tree by the pool, so watch out, but generally the area is well maintained. The free ice, coffee, and popcorn is a nice touch in the club house along with exercise machines and pool/shuffle board. I like the place. read more

The "after hours" manager contact number is a joke. It is actually a service that takes messages. One of the residents is shooting off fireworks during "quiet hours" but there is no one on here to deal with the problem. I can deal with the very poor wifi. However, for the money they are charging, there should be a manager on location to handle problems at all times. read more

This place is great! The office folks are friendly and helpful. The facilities are neat and tidy at all times. The dog wash station is a plus that I loved! Camping on concrete is not really camping- but most of these folks live here. I could see that it is not ideal for kids, as there is no play area and a large, unsupervised fake-lake. But for the price, the amenities are a deal. read more

We are so glad we found this RV Resort. We needed a place to stay while attending my kid's soccer tournament. Extremely clean, very friendly and fun. We've traveled across the US on several occasions. This RV PARK is by far the cleanest, has the most amenities of any we have stayed at. Whenever in Houston area we would certainly return. The lots are very large, the pool area us superb, laundry is great. And who has a dog bathing area! Highly recommend this to anyone wanting a clean place to unwind after a long drive. read more
