Paid $4500 for a 10 day rental of a Sprinter Van. This was the worse ride I've EVER experienced…read more While I know I can't compare this ride to my 2021 Escalade, I am comparing it to other Sprinter rentals. This was the BUMPY-EST ride ever. I never get motion sick but I was. I couldn't even work on my laptop with how bumpy it was. My kids said they hated the ride and were motion sick as well. It literally felt like this company carjacked an Amazon truck, threw the packages out and kicked the driver to the curb, added leather seats and started a company They said the van didn't have air suspension. Why in Earth would you rent out a Sprinter with poor suspension. Literally no reason to rent a Sprinter unless you want a smooth and comfortable ride. Confused as to why the company didn't get better suspension. The horn did not work. When I dropped it off, they said they didn't check the horn. Very DANGEROUS! Especially to be in a large van without a safety warning. The stereo system made an annoying high pitch noise. Their vehicle maintenance person told us it was a defect that they would need to fix. Noise got louder when you hit the acceleration. The worker was happy it wasn't a problem of the motor or mechanics of the van. I however, don't care where it came from. It was annoying. The seats all made a metal clicking sound when it road down the road. The company rep that test drove the van said "we have to fix that"... and that was BEFORE I even mentioned that issue. The rubber cover that goes over the lever for one of the chairs was missing and we kept scratching our legs on it. The windshield had 4 cracks in it. The point of renting a Sprinter van for trips is to be comfortable. Wasn't comfortable AT ALL ... because of the loud noise, loud seats, bumpy ride. I should receive a full refund. The rep said "they would try to refund me something"... nothing has been refunded and really the entire darn ride should be refunded. This was the worse rental experience of my life. I will not rent from here again. Too bad because they are near our home.

I hired Reese Carter (rvinspections.com / rvinspector.pro) to complete a pre-purchase inspection on…read morea 2015 Tiffin Phaeton on January 24, 2026. I paid $884 for this inspection, despite the website listing $750 for a Class A motorhome inspection. I relied on this inspection to move forward with the purchase. Unfortunately, shortly after taking delivery of the RV, multiple significant issues became apparent that were either missed or not properly documented in the inspection report. Key concerns: The dash AC system was not functioning and required a major repair (evaporator replacement) Both rooftop AC system had a clogged drainage issue that caused water intrusion into the interior The driver-side slide had functional issues present at deliver A rear oil leak was identified immediately after purchase Evidence of prior fiberglass/structural repair was visible but not meaningfully documented in a way that reflected the true condition or impact There were numerous other issue Reese overlooked during his inspection and neglected to highlight on his report. Additionally, I later confirmed with Reese that verifying AC functionality is a standard part of a pre-purchase inspection, yet there was no clear documentation or indication this was properly tested. I reached out to Reese to address these concerns. He initially indicated a willingness to refund the inspection fee, but ultimately stated he was unable to do so due to financial hardship. The conversation then became unprofessional and included statements unrelated to the inspection itself. At the end of the day, I paid for a professional inspection and relied on it in making a significant purchase decision. Based on my experience, several material items were either missed or not properly communicated. My recommendation to others: Ensure all major systems are explicitly tested and documented Ask detailed follow-up questions before relying on any inspection report Consider a second opinion for high-value purchases I hope this helps others make a more informed decision.
