There is a mailbox with "1631" on it, and there is a medium size yellow sign on the fence. TURN THERE! Do NOT continue down Hagerson Road---it's a dead end about a mile down the road with absolutely NO place to turn around with a 37' rig! AND, the ditches on either side of the road are DEEP and muddy. We successfully backed the entire way and were met at the truck by Aqua, the camp host. She was concerned, but when she was met with a laugh, she relaxed! She was sweet! The park is a little small, but easy to maneuver. We didn't stay at the trailer much because we were on a sight-seeing mission (San Jacinto, NASA, Kemah and Galveston were all within an hour's drive). We picked the park to stay out of Houston traffic with the trailer. All the utilities at the park were good. Just remember you're in Houston area where the humidity is high and the mosquitoes love you! Take plenty of mosquito repellent. Thank you to Aqua and Brazos River Retreat for a pleasant stay.

But they were charged 350... assuming it was a misunderstanding we paid because my parents needed to park so I could talk to the owner next day. Well I finally got to speak to one of the rudest people I've probably ever delt with, and he informed me that it's 50 a night and the weekly rate only applies if you stay more than 10 days... I said to him... I don't think a week means what you think it means, but he asked if I knew where he's been all day and I said... no, do you know where I have been all day? He yelled at me and hung up.... So anyways. Don't recommend staying here haha. The host was super nice but the owner informed me that he was going to bitch her out for not handling this herself and apparently he did because my wife got a text from her saying as such. She was awesome really, but the owner is a piece of work. This place also operates under the alias "brazos river retreat rv" as well. Either way, such a waste because it's a nice spot, but wow the owner... sad.

No water for two days, I leased the spot for the electricity, needed to clean up RV to sale, no water, she knew why I rented the spot, no break and had the audacity to charge my card an additional night because we were having trouble with slide outs so late leaving, without my consent I might add. Unfortunately, that pond seems to be home to millions of mosquitoes! The mosquitoes were absolutely unbearable, especially in the evenings and at night. It was nearly impossible to enjoy sitting outside, and we ended up covered in mosquito bites. It really took away from what otherwise would have been a great camping experience. The morning we left, we packed up before sunrise, and the mosquitoes were relentless. Just trying to disconnect our electrical cords, water hoses, and other equipment was miserable because we were constantly being bitten. Several mosquitoes even made their way into our truck while we were packing up. We were still killing mosquitoes inside the truck 700 miles down the road! It's unfortunate because the campground itself is nice, and the beachfront views are excellent. However, the mosquito problem was bad enough to significantly impact our stay. That's the main reason I'm giving Dellanera RV Park 2 stars instead of 5.
