I had to take them to court after they completely ignored my phone calls and texts regarding a job. Despite receiving a legal judgment, it turned out to be just a piece of paper when dealing with them. My attorney discovered that I'm not alone--there are other judgments against Ricks RV Rentals and Repairs. I've attached another judgment I found through public records to highlight the pattern. Rick's RV is out at the Texas Ren Fest Campgrounds to work on emergency repairs. My class C blew out the front window that is on the overhang last weekend during the commute there. I talked to them, and they were able to create a new non-glass replacement for the window and install it late the next day. The work was great, the results was what I wanted, and now that it is raining, I don't have to sit around with a tarp on hoping that nothing leaks in. We always enjoy working with Rick. He is a great guy with a wide selection of RV's / campers that are clean, modern and spacious to rent for your family getaways. He'll even supply sheets, paper towels, and toilet paper if you need them with your camper. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH RICKS RV RENTAL! They were DRUNK servicing us and tried to SCAM us out our $1000 DEPOSIT I would rate no star if i could This was the most unprofessional RV place i've EVER CAME ACROSS! I booked a rv from them for my mom's birthday. First off, they we're SO DRUNK when we arrived. I had to pay $700 for 2 days and 3 nights, and they ask me for a deposit with a check, of $1000. And my insurance. They said if the rv has no damages they will return me back my check. When I came back, i returned the rv around 6 in the morning. They weren't there, I put the keys in the RV and left. Mind you, i took pictures of the RV, everywhere because i gave him a $1000 deposit. After I returned the RV, he never contact me again. He end up trying to cash out the check without notifying me of ANY DAMAGES. The bank had called me and I declined the transaction. He texted me and said he will make a claim with my insurance since he couldnt cash my check.. and he said the damages added up to $1010.00 ... so hilarious since my deposit was exactly $1,000. He sent me pictures of the RV, saying i damaged it but it was already like that. I sent him photos of the damages being there prior with time and date and he never responded to my messages since. This is INSANE! PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM! THEY SCAM PEOPLE. AND THEY WERE DRUNK AT THE OFFICE. They even told me "im sorry I came on my off day for you, so im a little drunk" When I went inside the RV, it was SOOO DIRTY! And it smelt so bad like human feces. Everything was super last minute, i just drove 2 hours to get to the RV location, with everything packed so end up taking the Rv anyways, stopped at a family dollars to buy cleaning supplies, and bedding to replace. read more

I wasn't satisfied at all. We paid 600 dollars for an rv camper to be comfortable and be able to take showers. Had a blow out on the camper that took out the water lines and I called Rick and he tell me to fix the flat and he will send someone out to fix the problem as soon as he can find someone. Try to fix the tire and the lug wrench broke. So we set on the side of the freeway for 2 and half hours. Finally someone shows up to fix the water to tell us he cant fix . The guy then followed us to the beach to fix it and when he's done he tells us it's fixed. On the next day I went and refill the tank which cost me $20 and again still no water it all drained out. I called rick at 8 am Rick comes out on that evening after 4 to fix the trailer and brings 12 gallons of water. That didn't supply enough water for three people to shower nor using the toilet. The a/c drain inside of the rv the entire time and he told us we need to cut the AC off so that it wouldn't freeze up. Also the license plates were expired. My birthday was horrible had to cancel my 4 day event due to no water. No credit offered and I return the rv camper early. And he had the nerve to ask for review! read more
