I have not been to their Bellflower location. But when I went to Smorgasburg recently and was in the mood for some barbecue, so we stopped by one of the BBQ vendors and tried the beef ribs and brisket. It came with corn and macaroni and cheese, and I have to say--it was absolutely delicious! The meat was extremely tender. You could literally cut it with a fork, and it was so juicy and mouthwatering. Definitely some seriously good barbecue! The people working at the stand were also really nice, friendly, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. If you've never been to Smorgasburg, it's definitely worth checking out. They have all kinds of vendors offering everything from burgers and barbecue to ice cream and so much more. There's something for pretty much everyone. & it's always a cool vibe. Wow the Dino Rib was spectacularly juicy, meaty, and tender. My boyfriend and I ate this at Global Grills in Northridge park. We were drawn here due to a line already formed and we just couldn't resist the urge to try out something from here! We wanted the Dino Rib, which was $45. I believe having a side of mac n cheese was included. I definitely didn't feel like the mac n cheese was anything special. There was a bit of a bland taste in the cheese, could definitely use some more seasonings. The rib was easily shared by the 2 of us but part of us both wanted more. Full Send BBQ was full to bursting with crowds at the Global Grill Festival in Northridge, and everything they were putting out looked and smelled amazing. Big, beefy slices of brisket, juicy ribs, and some very excellent-looking sausages. But as I had purchased a "Tasting Passport," there was only one thing I could get in exchange for my wooden coin: Mac & Cheese topped with Pulled Pork and their signature BBQ Sauce. If this was a consolation prize, trust me, I was well-consoled! First, let's talk portion size. They served this "little combo" in a pound-sized container, filling it 3/4 of the way with Mac & Cheese, and then topping it with enough Pulled Pork to rise above the rim. While everyone else at the Festival was serving truly "sample-sized" portions for their "passport" items, Full Send was giving out full meals -- and really, this was enough food for 2 people. So this gang deserves major props for hospitality and generosity, and we haven't even talked about the taste yet. So let's talk about the taste. The pork was smoky and rich, juicy with just enough fat to let you know you're eating traditional barbecue without feeling weighed down or guilty. Their sauce was more sweet than spicy, with a somewhat hefty consistency -- it was good sauce to be sure, but I generally prefer something reaching higher on the spice meter. The Mac & Cheese resting below the pork was top-notch as well, with a creamy consistency and a solid, mildly cheesy flavor that complemented the pork nicely -- a sharper cheese would have overpowered the meat, so they've made very good choices here. Why am I not giving them 5 stars? Because I need to taste the rest of what they've got to give. Hands down one of the best ribs I've ever had. Got the chance to finally try Full Send at the Baryo Hifi event and it did not disappoint. The location we went to was the one at Smorgasburg LA at RowDTLA only open on Sunday's from 10am-4pm. We saw the owner working hard and passed out samples of pork belly for everyone in line which was really nice and thoughtful. It was also delicious. We did a 2 meat combo of pork belly burnt crumbs with brisket, and a side of mac-n-cheese. The brisket was not dry at all, so tender and juicy. You have to add the chimichurri sauce. I been swine free since 93, but sometimes duty calls. So lemme set the scene. Im at Smorgasbord LA for the first time and we get there the moment it opens. Its me, my dog, my boyfriend (the one Ive been going through it with) and were just out to have a lovely time before I have to stop eating for 36 hours. Cuz see a back ache lead to an xray that lead to an MRI which revealed a giant steak shaped ribeye looking cyst and i had to start pre op fasting in 5 hours. So i was ready to eat EVERYTHING!! Except pork. But my dog is an avid pork eater. Like, allergic to all things beef, chicken, turkey and refuses to eat fish. So pork it is. Every four days or so i roast a pork shoulder, and chop it up with kale carrots and yams and voila. He eats better than most people. ...which is a hassle especially if i FORGET to pack his food, cause I cant just feed him anything i find. Which is exactly what happened on this day. Im at Smorgasbord stuffing my face, trying a million different things and my dog is like bruuuuhhhhh wtf. So i see this place which smells amazing but clearly isnt for my non pork eating self. But i know who it might be for!!! so i pull up and make the most first world request ever... "do you sell, like a pound of pork, i can get for mY dog?" And they were like YES!! One of the chefs conferred with two of the ladies inside the tent who were helping me and eventually came over and was like "so this IS what Imma do? Ima make him a pound of our pulled park cause it has the least amount of spices in it. And ill take off as much of the spice infused bark as possible, so it shouldn't affect his stomach." It was a win for me. I happily dropped the $17 bucks and came back in 10 mins like they asked me to. And returned to my dog with a pound of pull pork hot out the smoker. And when i tell you my dog never reacts to mmyyyyyy food like this, EVER.... i knew it mustve been good. He inhaled it. And i gotta say, it smelled & looked BOOMMMBBB. I almost took a teeny bite but #WILLPOWER hella strong. All this to say... even though I didn't eat the food, I wanted to just off the fact that it smelled so damn good, and the people were so incredibly nice and helpful. Growing up in SoCal I've spent so much time just being stuffed to the brim with food from my Filipino friends houses growing up. When I heard a spot is mixing those flavors into Texas style barbecue I had to stop by. The brisket was wonderfully moist and paired perfectly with the chimi that I got on the side. Honestly that chimi went perfectly on everything. I forgot I got another sauce until I finished all the food. I poured it on the rice. On the rib. On the esquites. I cannot rave enough about Dom and his crew. We hired them to cater my husband's 40th birthday party with about 50-60 people. I hired them site unseen because I really liked Dom's vibe and just got a good feeling from him. He was so helpful, kind and responsive when talking/texting leading up to the party. The week of, I had a "oh crap! What was I thinking hiring someone I've never even tried!" but I am so glad I took the gamble. He showed up on time with his whole crew. Everyone on his staff was SO nice. Even offering to help me set up the furniture for the party and other tasks. They even made sure to grab me and tell me they put 2 plates in the fridge for me and my husband because they know when you're hosting you don't always get to eat. And my God did we eat. Its been about 3 weeks since the event and people are STILL texting us raving about how good the food was. Came to their booth at Smorgasburg in LA. Waited in line for 2.5 hours!! There's no way it should've taken that long, the line was barely moving and it was so insufficiently ran. They also didn't update everyone that they were sold out of EVERYTHING other than the pulled pork until we were near the front (people were so angry and even left the line after waiting hours at that point). The pulled pork Mac n cheese was horrible to top off that entire experience.. the Mac was watery and the pulled pork tasted like it was microwaved. The line is long given because it's a bbq but the problem was it took so long to get the front of the line to place our order because it wasn't organized. They switch locations every once in a while, so at the time that we went, they were located inside Go Kart World. My husband and I shared the Dynamic Duo, which comes with 1/3 pounds of pulled pork, 1/3 pounds of brisket, mac n cheese, potato salad, and baked beans, pickles, toast, chicken, sausage, and macaroni salad. Man, where do I even start? I came across Full Send on Instagram and only heard amazing things, so I decided to book them for my son's first birthday. Dominic and his team worked through 93-degree heat and did it with so much heart. I was so busy hosting that I didn't even get a chance to eat until a friend handed me a bite of brisket off his fork as I was walking by and immediately my taste buds went crazy. It was soooo good. A few hours later I finally got my own plate, and even though the tri-tip was already gone, I didn't care at all because the brisket alone blew me away. Honestly, it was the best I've ever had, even better than the BBQ I tried in Texas. All the sides were fantastic too. We had potato salad, mac n cheese, and coleslaw. Dominic suggested a mac n cheese bowl with pulled pork for the kids' menu, and it was a total hit. All the kids looked like they enjoyed the food. Many of our guests kept asking me where I found him because they were just as impressed. To top it off, during the event setup our power went out, which meant we had to take down the bounce house and no A/C on a 93-degree day. I called around to have a generator delivered immediately. That's when I first met Dominic outside and told him our situation inside. He told me he had one and offered to let me use it for free. Within 20 minutes it was delivered, and he even offered to pick it up after the event. That kind of kindness is rare. Some guests had to leave a bit early because the heat indoors was overwhelming, but he really saved the day by bringing in the generator. Super friendly, and very nice. However, this review is solely based on the portion size and what I ordered vs. what I got. The pictures posted on yelp and on the menu are completely different than what I was given . I believe I got the brisket sandwich. I can't recall because the size was so small. I had maybe 2 pieces of meat in my sandwich , and a thick , unmelted piece of cheese on it. The pictures showed a larger sandwich with lots of meat and zesty cheese oozing out. The macaroni and cheese had no cheese. It was basically seasoned noodles. My whole sandwich fit into the palm of my hand. I took a bite, and took a photo as proof. After waiting a good 30-45 mins for our food to be prepared , I guess I'm a little disappointed at what I received .
