Taco Suave was phenomenal! I was pressed for time and started searching for a caterer for my son's sixth birthday. I called ten different taco caterers and private restaurants and they either didn't pick up the phone, we're booked or their menus didn't seem appealing. Luckily, Joseph picked up and managed to answer all of my questions and even gave me great suggestions for the party. My major concern was his lack of reviews, but I was willing to take a chance on his great customer service. Joseph proved to be a true professional entrepreneur. He showed up, dressed appropriately, had a clean food display and his food was delicious! He is not your average "taco guy" as he asked guests for their opinions, fulfilled requests and answered cooking technique questions like a Michelin Star Chef! Plus, he helped customize my son's party to include party specific theme items like toys and music. He remembered my son's name throughout the event and set time aside to make him feel special whenever possible like making raspados together. My son commented, "Hey, that Joseph guy he's a good guy! He's left a seemingly long lasting impression on my son. For our menu, we had: al pastor, asada, pollo, salsa verde, salsa roja, agua de pepino, agua de sandía and raspados (four different flavors). Most of the "taqueros" I've tried, their asada and pollo are normally dry, small or super greasy. This was not the case with Taco Suave. All the meats where tasty, moist and juicy. The al pastor and salsas were amazing without the heart burn or greasy feeling. I could actually taste the pineapple in the al pastor, yum. The aguas frescas we not too sweet nor watered down; they were just right. Joseph has mastered his trade and he will be a part of any of my or my guest's events in the future. read more

Someone told me about this taco guy so I gave em a try he did a great job food was on point he also came with more than enough salsa , lemons, onions and extra beans and rice he was only going to stay for 2 hours but stay well over that to make sure food was gone. Joseph makes sure things go as smoothly as you can hope for: - Easy to text, invoice all done via mobile app online - Very responsive over txt msg and helpful with coordinating - He texted the night before to confirm all is good, and texted again in the morning to let me know food was prepped and he was on his way - Showed up on time, food was ready and served smoothly - Food was delicious - even the non-taco eaters had no complaints - Guests lined up, got served tacos made to order. (I've had other taco caterers that simply cooked the meat into trays and the guests had to build their own tacos, super lame) Bonuses: - Agua fresca - ridiculous. Get this. - He stayed late to serve the kids reposados (shaved ice) and made snowballs for them. Joseph is great to work with. There is no such thing as overcommunicating. Especially when you're so busy the morning of the event, it's really nice to have Joseph reach out instead of you wondering if food will arrive on time. Even though we booked the event for 12-3, he stayed til 530 and later cleaning up. And in there end there were no leftovers. Guests ate it all up.
