Located in Fresh World Food-Court (new Grocery) on Richmoind Highway. Asian Fusion served up fresh & friendly by the Chef Owners. Nice spin on traditional favorites with a little extra secret sauce that was both super tasty & filling. My wife & I both loved our individual selection along with our shared appetizer. It is located in food-court with seating on the side and in front. Great place to get a meal before or after shopping or just to pop in for lunch or dinner on way home from work. We will definitely be coming back !!!

Delicious! I might have found a kimchi house substitute. Super good. Reasonably priced. It's a food court in a grocery store but worth going.

First time eating at Fukoma inside of the food court at the newly opened fresh world on Richmond hwy route 1. The bao buns caught my eyes. I enjoy the dumpling shaped bao buns. The employee at the front recommend I try the chicken katsu along with the pork belly. Great choices and definitely just something new. Service was great. Clean food court, not too busy either! Highly recommend due to the other small kitchens in the food court.

Couldn't wait for a pic. The aroma of the bulgogi was just too much. I got the bulgogi bowl and it was DELICIOUS. Moderately priced and filling. The bowl came with pickles, pickled daikon relish, macaroni salad, steamed rice, and bulgogi beef. Service was great.

The Ramen was good for the price. I don't believe it wasn't something I could've made for myself however.

The space is airy, filled with light and felt modern and beautifully designed. Decided to do the Endless Table Essentials Tier ($44/guest) with some drinks (+$1 each). I felt like the food in this tier was pretty good value - highlights were the xiao chi platter, the char siu specials (perfect char), pork wuharou, and little pot mixian noodle. The food came out a little bit slow despite the restaurant not being full, which contributed to us eating less than I expected to during the 90 min res. But, for AYCE the food quality definitely beat my expectations. Would skip the crispy garlic rice as it was pretty plain and the souffle pancake (honestly more sponge cake than souffle?). I've heard the Braised Beef Lu is good so I'd come back to try that next time. If you're looking for a modern asian brunch/lunch spot, definitely recommend checking out this restaurant!

I started off with the FireCracker roll. Which was a warm Tuna roll with an amazing presentation and flavor. I started off with Their Green Gin drink which was a newer item on their menu. The contrast between the cucumber Gin and Mint herb phenomenal. You could taste every individual piece and it was refreshing. I went with the Shio Tamten Ramen and they did really well with the noodles. Perfect tension and break away as you pick up each bundle for a bite. The chicken was cooked really well. I was not able to finish the bowl because of the quantity and deliciousness. After I finished my meal. I topped off with the Old Fashion which was the perfect pallet cleanser into the desert. For Desert I went with their special. The French Toast Ice Cream. Again I cannot stress the quality of their presentations. They are extremely appropriate and eye catching. When I bit into the French toast I was expecting the bread to be room temperature over the cold ice cream. I was wrong. They figured out how get the differences of hot and cold to work in perfect unison. Well done Boru I will be coming back! 5 stars!

Parking is a hit or miss, as far as the street, but there's garage parking nearby. Regardless, both you have to pay. The portions here are quite generous, and you definitely won't leave hungry and most likely with food to go for another meal at home. I.S.H. ROLL - $16.95 This roll was so delicious and very filling. It's packed with deep-fried tempura shrimp, jalapeño, cream cheese, and avocado, then topped with spicy kani, eel sauce, and spicy mayo (I omitted the eel sauce). The flavors work really well together, though for the price point, I do wish they used real crab meat instead of the kani (imitation crab). It would have taken the roll to the next level! I thought I would want more rolls to try but I barely could finish this alone. SHRIMP RAMEN BOWL - $18.95 I ordered this with the veggie broth, and it was a huge amount of food. It's a very hearty bowl, I added chili paste for some heat, though I personally wish they had chili oil instead, as it usually mixes into the broth a bit more smoothly. SHIRLEY TEMPLE $4 I had a Shirley Temple, it was a good drink, but be aware that they don't offer free refills on it which kinda was disappointing. As for the service, it was nice and perfectly decent. The staff was polite enough and the food arrived in a timely manner. Overall, Ichiban is a great choice if you want a clean atmosphere and large portions. While there are a few small areas for improvement like the crab meat and the drink refills, it's still a very satisfying place for a meal in Shirlington.

Bonsai Sushi is a Korean-owned Japanese spot that offers an extensive menu, offering items such as teriyaki, katsu, udon, ramen, bento boxes, sushi, sashimi, specialty rolls, and more! We came here for an early dinner, and we were pleasantly surprised at the number of patrons dining in - we also noticed that many were calling ahead and putting in to-go orders, and the staff recognizing and greeting their regulars. We ordered: +a Japanese Lasagna maki roll +a Box Combination - you can choose from chicken/beef/salmon teriyaki or salmon shioyaki; then, a choice from shrimp & vegetable tempura, chicken/pork/fish katsu; and, finally, a choice from nigiri, sashimi, and rolls; I opted for the Salmon Teriyaki, the Chicken Katsu, and the Kabuki Roll (prepared with shrimp tempura, avocado, and crabmeat); the box also comes with shrimp shumai +a Ramen Set (the Be Set) - the Spicy Tonkotsu (prepared with pork broth, bok choy, bean sprouts, scallions, seaweed, and pork with a boiled egg) and a spicy tuna roll Both the miso soup and the dressing with the amazing sesame-based dressing were delicious - the soup was extremely hot, just the way I like it, and the lettuce was very fresh and crisp! We enjoyed our meal, as everything was prepared made-to-order and came out fresh! The chicken katsu wasn't too thick, well-battered, and the sauce was very yummy! The salmon teriyaki was very fresh with a not-so-sweet teriyaki sauce that was complementary! The egg in the ramen was cold, so I wished it was heated through with the broth and marinated a bit more. The shrimp shumai that was included in the box was mushy and forgettable. The maki rolls were tasty - the spicy tuna roll had a nice kick, and the rice to filling ratio was good. Definitely a nice cozy spot with a handful of seating; staff were kind, welcoming, and attentive!
