Located in the food court of the recently Fresh World that opened up off of Route 1, Fukoma offers various Japanese/Korean-fusion eats. Their menu has various starters (such as shumai and gyozas), rice bowls, platters, kimbop, makis, and katsus. We came here for an early lunch, and we ordered: +the Chicken Teriyaki Platter - the teriyaki was pretty good, but it is more thicker and on the sweeter end; rice was ample, and the macaroni salad that was served with was more on the bland side +a Chicken Katsu Platter - the katsu was fine, but most likely would not order this again +a Beef Bulgogi Bowl - was not fan of the bulgogi marinade I do wish the items were made-to-order and came out piping out; not sure if some were just reheated or cooked in advance, as the protein and the sauces were just cold/lukewarm. You order up at the cashier, and they bring out the items to you. Service was friendly, and there's some seating in the food court area. Ample parking in the large lot. +lukewarm/cold items +friendly service +located inside Fresh World's food court +ample parking

This place is a hidden gem. My son always wants to eat here every time I go grocery shopping. His favorite is the Chicken Katsu Curry.

Located in Fresh World Food-Court (new Grocery) on Richmoind Highway. Asian Fusion served up fresh & friendly by the Chef Owners. Nice spin on traditional favorites with a little extra secret sauce that was both super tasty & filling. My wife & I both loved our individual selection along with our shared appetizer. It is located in food-court with seating on the side and in front. Great place to get a meal before or after shopping or just to pop in for lunch or dinner on way home from work. We will definitely be coming back !!!

The food is fantastic, and they fill the bowl so much that it almost can't close. The service here is great, if they say it'll be ready in 5 minutes, it will be. Another thing I like is that the place is very clean.

First time eating at Fukoma inside of the food court at the newly opened fresh world on Richmond hwy route 1. The bao buns caught my eyes. I enjoy the dumpling shaped bao buns. The employee at the front recommend I try the chicken katsu along with the pork belly. Great choices and definitely just something new. Service was great. Clean food court, not too busy either! Highly recommend due to the other small kitchens in the food court.

Delicious! I might have found a kimchi house substitute. Super good. Reasonably priced. It's a food court in a grocery store but worth going.

Couldn't wait for a pic. The aroma of the bulgogi was just too much. I got the bulgogi bowl and it was DELICIOUS. Moderately priced and filling. The bowl came with pickles, pickled daikon relish, macaroni salad, steamed rice, and bulgogi beef. Service was great.

Finally got to try the food court. After having some mediocre curry in Old Town, I decided to give their Chicken Curry Katsu a try. Huge portion for $15, I could barely finish half. Curry was flavorful and mild and the chicken cutlets was crisp and moist. Not usually a fan of macaroni salad, but this was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Very cute and inviting, great service, and awesome food. I'm pretty simple and didn't want anything too heavy, so I settled on the Yakisoba with chicken. I later learned that our waitress prefers it with shrimp, so next time I'll know! I could definitely see this becoming my little solo date spot, a cute place to meet up with girlfriends, or a cozy date night with your boo or beau. Cheers!

The waitress (so sweet) made a few alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options (it was late afternoon). I got the Seared Sakana which was a freaking 10/10. The options are salmon, tuna, and yellow tail--i asked for spicy tuna instead and they accommodated! It was soooooooooooo good. Melt in your mouth delicious. Also! Before the food came out, the sushi chefs plopped a plate of simple mini California rolls for us to eat while waiting. Free of charge of course. My partner got the Gyu-Don and it was also delicious. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because ppl who came after us got their food before my partner got his Gyu-Don; seemed like the kitchen forgot? So i got my roll before he got his meal, but after we mentioned it, it came out a few mins later. Definitely a yummy place, though. The atmosphere is light, it's very clean, and the service was great other than the lateness of the food which i blame the kitchen for lol. Highly recommended and would definitely come back.

Service was fine and attentive. We like Ichiban and will definitely be back. Sushi and ramen are the biggies here, but there's other stuff too like bento boxes, fried rice and plenty of appetizers. We started out with the miso soup which was rich and flavorful. We also got the crunchy shrimp and crispy shrimp rolls. Both were good, but I especially liked the crunchy shrimp rolls. In addition, we ordered the pan-fried shumai. I'm used to steamed shumai, but I really like pan-fried. The dipping sauce that came with the shumai was tasty. JP ordered the salmon bento box. It came with endamame, pan-fried gyoza, carrots, sautéed onion, broccoli and white rice. The salmon with a nice glaze was delicious and perfect. I ordered the beef bento box. However, the young male staff is rather rude and indifferent. First, off there is a Wi-Fi available "Caphe Guest" (see photo). I asked one staffer what the password was, because Caphe is in one of those sections of Old Town where wireless access, like Verizon, is notoriously poor. The guy gave me some garbled answer and walked away. Alrighty, so I asked another staffer and he said he didn't know what the password was and walked away. That leads up to my order of chicken pho. I asked for no cilantro and that same waiter repeated my request for no cilantro. But when the pho was brought to my table, the green in the pho looked suspiciously like cilantro. I asked the waiter about it. He looked at the pho and said it was not cilantro. I took a sip and quickly determined there was cilantro in the pho. When I tried to get my server's attention, as he was standing in back of the counter, he saw me and haughtily turned away. So, I took the pho up to counter and asked that my order be remade. To Caphe's credit, Caphe did correctly remake my order.. But the pho broth was brown and had an odd canned flavor. It just wasn't very good.
