The miso ramen is very good. The pork dumplings average. Katsudon decent. They were receiving a lot of to-go and grubhub orders, so service was quite slow for dine-in. Dine-in area a little austere. Stuff came out as it was finished; one person, then later the other, then later the appetizer. Safe bet for take-out or delivery, but wouldn't eat there again. read more

It was a spot that we decided to try on our way form dc down south. It was a small but clean shop ran by a small team. The ramen was good and did the job. Recommend paying them a visit if you just need a fix! read more

Ramen was good! Great flavor, creamy and perfect spice. Noodles tasted fresh! Sushi was good and they used fresh quality ingredients. It was a order at the counter type place where they brought your food to you and cleaned up after you left. It gave Chinese take-out vibes but clean! If I lived closer I would be here often. They also do have a full Chinese menu. So Ramen, Sushi, and Chinese all in one place. Didn't get to try any of the Chinese dishes but I assume they would be good too. read more

My family and I are regulars. Wasn't big on ramen until we stumbled upon this mom and pop restaurant. But now, we can't get enough. Nothing fancy about this spot but their service is always great. We've had their rice dishes, sushi, Thai tea and brown sugar milk tea but they were only ok. Highly recommend the ramen here! read more

Solid mom-and-pop ramen spot with a no-frills, laid-back vibe. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen for myself and my nephew, and we both really enjoyed it. The broth was flavorful and comforting, and the portions were satisfying. Nothing fancy here--just good ramen done right. If you're looking for a casual place without the fuss, this spot gets the job done. read more

Last night I had a craving for ramen. My family of 4 tried Tom Ramen out. I ordered Tonkitsu Shoyu Ramen, House Special Lomein, Gerneral Tsao Chicken, and Kung Pao Chicken. All dishes were tasty and well cooked. It hit the spot for us all. The portions were generous. We have plenty of left over for lunch today. I will definitely come back and tried other dishes. We had takeout so I cannot comment on their service. The ambiance is a small takeout restaurant. We paid $67.32 without tip. I can't wait to go back. Lunch time may be better deal. I will see sometime soon. read more

Tom Ramen is a casual dine-in restaurant where you order and pay up front at the register. They will bring you the food when it's ready and clean up when you're done, but it's not full service. I stopped by for lunch on Sunday with a big group and fortunately, we were able to be seated. TOM RAMEN - 15.95 This was the tonkotsu ramen that contained chashu, beansprouts, half a ramen egg, corn, bamboo shoots, wood ear mushrooms, wavy ramen, topped with scallions and black garlic oil. The broth was pretty creamy and not too salty, but it lacked a strong pork flavor. It was mostly flavored by the black garlic oil. The chashu was really thin and quite charred on one side so it had a good flavor, but it wasn't very juicy or fatty. Everything else was fine. I'm not a huge wavy ramen fan, though. The ramen wasn't bad but it's not worth trekking to Alexandria for. Overall, I'm glad I got to try it since it's been on my list for a couple months. read more

Wanted to try a new to me ramen spot. First time here, ordered Tonkotsu Shoyu ramen. Typical price for the area, $15.99. Very large portion. I wish the pork broth was richer. Usually the pork broth is creamier for this type ramen. The pork itself was chewy, not so much melt in your mouth. I suspect it might get pan fried then added. Great noodles, typical mix of veggies. Strip mall, with parking. Small interior, about 9 tables. You come in and at the counter and they bring your food out to you. There's a lot on the menu, sushi in particular. Overall pretty good. read more

Was in the area when I decided to look for a local ramen spot. Searched and I found Tom Ramen. Located in an inconspicuous strip mall you'll find a small ramen spot. With plenty of parking that should not be an issue. Inside the seating is not very big so small parties are best for this spot. Menu is large with plenty of options ranging from ramen boba and sushi, classics and house specialties. Service was good and was able to take our order quick. Food came out a bit later and was hot and fresh. While not the best ramen I've had it definitely hit the spot. read more

Solid ramen and very filling portions. We tried Tonkotsu miso ramen and Karaage ramen. Both came with rich, creamy broths and lots of toppings. The karaage chicken was not as good as in Japan (of course not, alas), but my partner and I still enjoyed them. Not the best ramen out there, but solid flavors and fair prices. read more

Really good ramen, everything was flavorful, and the creamy miso broth was my favorite part. They also give you 3 slices of pork when other places only give you 2. The service was also quick, my order came out in less than 10 min while dining in. Overall really good, and I would come back. read more

Decided to try this restaurant and dine in. The restaurant is small, simple, and clean. We were the only customers dining in at the time we went. We noticed several customers coming in and out to pick up their take-out orders. The menu had a lot of great options, but we decided to try their ramen. We got the Tom Ramen and Tonkotsu Miso Ramen. Our food came quickly. They accidentally forgot to give us our chasu, but once we told them, they fixed it for us. Both ramen bowls were amazing! The broth was flavorful, and the meat was tasty and not fatty at all. The soy egg was so good that I ordered an extra one. I will definitely be getting food from here again and I am curious to try their sushi rolls. read more

My friend told me about this new ramen shop just opened across from their place, and I had to try it! I was a little worried because it was in this dark strip mall. But looks are deceiving - thank goodness!! It exceeded all my expectations. It was small inside, but very bright with fast service. You order at the counter like a fast casual spot. I ordered a Volcano Spicy Tom Ramen. It caught me off guard because it was actually very spicy! The broth was delicious and umami, and it came with two pork cha siu slices that were tender and flavorful. It also had a cured egg and crunchy bamboo shoots. The noodles were beautiful and springy. Just want you want - the perfect texture. My partner ordered the regular tom ramen, which came in a similar broth but just without the spicy oil. If you order $30 worth of food (about 2 ramen bowls), you get a free California roll! Sweet deal! When you can't decide whether you want sushi or ramen - you can get both! Talking about sushi - they have a full sushi roll menu, as well. Our friend ordered a Dragon Roll. Hefty potions and nicely fried! Didn't try it, but our friend said they were very pleased. Hope this place sticks around! It's great and in a central spot!! Excited to come back and try more things on the menu. read more

Ehhhhh.... I'm not sure if it's worth the hype. A friend and I were in the area for a birthday party and saw this place had really good reviews and so we went to try. We both got the volcano ramen and although it was (temperature) hot, it wasn't spicy at all. The 2 pieces of pork were extremely fatty but the broth was quite good. I love a soft boiled marinated egg so I was disappointed that I only got half of an egg and not the whole thing with my ramen. We also got matcha drinks with boba pearls and those were bland and lacked matcha flavor. Overall the experience was mid and kind of a disappointment done the reviews were all fantastic. read more

Tom Ramen just opened up in Mark Center - they offer an extensive menu that includes various apps, soups, makis, specialty rolls, sushi, sashimi, bento boxes, donburi, and ramen. I was surprised to see this place open and was excited to give them a try for lunch. We ordered: +Rock Shrimp - crispy shrimp tempura tossed in a sweet chili mango sauce; each shrimp was a nice size, deveined, and had a nice light batter; the sauce was similar to a 'bang bang' type of a sauce, but this was yummy with a kick and a great little app +Hawaii Roll - one of their specialty rolls; this was filled with a sweet potato lobster salad, and topped with a spicy kani with an eel and spicy mayo sauce; I'm usually not into specialty rolls, but this changed my mind! This was really tasty, especially the filling and the topping! +Tom Ramen - tonkotsu salt-flavored broth with chashu, stir-fried beansprouts with pork, a nitimago egg, scallions, corn, fish cakes, bamboo shoots, wood ear mushrooms, nori, and a black garlic oil; the hubs said it was pretty good, but didn't care for the chashu +Karaage Ramen - chicken broth with a nitimago egg, scallions, corn, fish cakes, bamboo shoots, and wood ear mushrooms; the deep-fried karaage with a spicy mayo sauce was served on the side; probably one of the better chicken broths I've had for a ramen; wasn't really a fan of the karaage as I felt like it could have been fried harder, but I appreciated that it was served on the side and not placed in the ramen in which it would get super soggy! Before we left, we had an Hokkaido Brown Sugar Milk Tea to go; this was more like a sweeter version of a milk tea, and I wasn't a fan. Staff were very kind and friendly! Honestly, I was a little hesitant in trying this place out, but I'm glad that I did - we'll definitely making a return visit! Plenty of parking in the lot. +Hawaii Roll +Rock Shrimp app +tasty specialty rolls +good chicken broth-based ramen +friendly staff +plenty of parking +located at the Mark Center read more

Very good experience, food is delicious, I recommend it. The owners are very nice and friendly people .

It is a small but cozy ramen shop that recently opened and I drove more than an hour away to try it out with a buddy and thought it was good! I didn't really want to go anywhere that was too "loud" at this time, and thought this place was good enough for somewhere a little quiet, but still had decent bowls of ramen. The service was pretty fast and I think the place is still developing anyways since it's relatively new, but I think it has a great variety of food already! The Tom Volcano Ramen felt like a nice, warm hug and I thought the spice level was good enough! It definitely wasn't the spiciest, but I'd order it again! read more

I love the food from Tom Ramen! Highly recommended. Excellent service. Very nice ambiance.

Really glad to have found this cute little ramen place tucked away in a strip mall shopping center that I hadn't been to before. My kids and I wanted to get bubble tea and I did a quick search close to us and found Tom Ramen. The menu looked great and it looked fairly new, so off we went! By the time we got there, we were all hungry so a bubble tea pit stop became dinner. The kids are super picky and I was able to order them a meal that they both ate everything on their plate and asked for more! They like noodles with shrimp and chicken and eggs and minimal vegetables. I found the mei fun dish and asked for just those things, plus some carrots. The kitchen cooked it exactly that way and got it right!! It was a relief as they loved their dish and ate 2 servings each which is a rare feat, AND there were enough leftovers for the next day. We also ordered the mango bubble tea, chocolate bubble tea, the shrimp tempura ramen, and a free order of california rolls with a coupon from the menu as we ordered $30 or more, which was a really nice touch. The shrimp tempura ramen was really good, but not the best I've ever had. I'm spoiled as I have had amazing Japanese in Hawaii and nothing here has ever come close, but it was good here. I think the pork broth is something that I'm not used to, and I would just order without the pork next time. The chocolate bubble tea was also more watery and not as flavorful as we expected, and the staff was so kind to let us get another one to replace. The service was really friendly and kind (and patient to serve me and the kids who were pretty loud in the small space). I liked that this was a fast casual place with reasonable prices. We'll definitely be back! read more

I've gone here a handful of times now and it's always been an awesome experience. I'm not usually a ramen fan but I loved the chicken broth based ones! I was cautiously optimistic about the sushi as I LOVE sushi and it is great! They just added some classic "Chinese" dishes. I got the chicken and broccoli, it was wonderful, especially the broccoli- it wasn't steamed mush like most restaurants. The service is prompt and friendly. I really hope they can maintain this high quality! It's a great casual place with a small sushi bar and a handful of tables. It's always been spotless as well. read more
