This is a great option for sushi in the Collierville area. I have tried several rolls but my favorite is actually the rainbow roll. That may seem boring but it is really fresh and has a good flavor. I also really like their spicy mayo- it is extra spicy! I also like their miso soup and my family likes their fried rice and other entree dishes. In addition to great food, they have wonderful service and they provide a warm moist towel when you sit down. If you are in the area, make sure to try Fuji or their sister restaurant, Tao. read more

Stopped by for lunch and sat at the sushi bar. i was greeted immediately by a smiling face, warm towel and some miso soup. Started off with a bowl of seaweed salad which was great along with the portion size. Finished up with several pieces of regular and yellow fin tuna along with some eel as well. I have gone to Fuji Café for years, and I cannot imagine a more unique, authentic Japanese cuisine. Once you walk in, you are greeted by an aroma of Temporal, sushi, noodles, and much more! The decor is quite entertaining with chandeliers, wines, and Japanese writing. The food is unbelievable. The sushi is like a piece of art. We were driving from Arkansas and didnt want to eat fast food garbage. I've eaten a lot of sushi originally growing up in California. Hands down, this is the BEST Unagi Donburi I have ever tasted. It came with sliced squid and seaweed as well. All the textures and flavors balanced perfectly. We also shared a rainbow roll which was good. The kiddos devoured their california rolls and Gyoza. The portions are perfect, excellent service. I will come back again when we are in the area. They even brought little cheater clips for the girls, so they could also use chopsticks. My family and I went here for Father's Day and we expected it to be super busy but it actually wasn't that busy. We were able to get seats right away. I really like how they give you the hot towels along with miso soup and salad before serving the entrees. That being said, I ordered the chicken teriyaki and sorta thought it tasted bland even though it had sauce on top of it and I wish it had some sear marks or something just to give it some color. Your average Japanese restaurant. I ordered the salmon teriyaki and had a taste of the chicken teriyaki and they were good but not as good as other Japanese restaurants' I've tasted. The flavor did not soak much into the fish and chicken. My grandma and dad enjoyed the sushi lovers dinner for two. The prices were a bit high for what we got but overall we had a nice time. read more

Pretty good service - you get a warm towel and miso soup right off the bat. First off, I really enjoy the food here so I would rate 4 stars for food. The reason I gave 2 stars was because I showed up wanting to dine at the restaurant at 8:50 pm on a Saturday night because multiple websites and their menu said they were open until 10 pm. The server who came up to greet us said, "Sorry, we're closed." There was a sign on the hostess stand saying, "No more orders after 9 pm." I understand showing up at a restaurant too late to be served but this was ridiculous. The server was not rude but quite dismissive and unconcerned. As I left, I showed him the to go menu sitting on the hostess stand that clearly showed a closing time of 10 pm on Saturday night. The restaurant needs to update their website and to go menus. read more

I have dined here often and always had a good experience, however, while dining here last evening with my husband my experience changed dramatically. While enjoying our sushi boat meal I noticed movement on the wooden serving piece and on further investigation found it to be a roach crawling above, around, and in and out amongst our food. I immediately and quietly notified one of the waitresses nearby and she promptly took the boat away after too seeing the roach. At this point, apologies were made and a bill for half the cost of the sushi meal was presented to us. Now, any restaurant owner should realize that serving roaches alongside a meal is not the norm and a meal comp would have been in order. Needless to say, I am very disappointed both with the obvious roach problem and the lack of concern for an unhappy customer. We will not be going back. read more

Always love coming here. First thing they give you is a hot towel to cleanse your hands (my favorite part), then they give you miso soup. We ordered sushi rolls and sashimi. The ambiance here is also nice to feel relaxed while eating. They do get busy during dinner rush, which is around 7pm. So it's better to go around 630pm I would suggest~! read more

the reason it's a 1 is because i had showed up for a friends birthday but ended up getting stolen from. one of the waitresses wrote on the receipt for a tip even though we had to ask other waitresses for things because she only gave drinks and food n was never to be seen again. I'm upset with myself for not eating here before now. Judging by the bento box lunch I had this place is right on! Shrimp and vegetable tempura very well done with some sashimi and half order of California roll. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. The sushi roll had very little rice around it which kept me from having to peel some off like at some places. It came with a decent house salad and a quite good cucumber and squid salad. Maybe the hottest wasabi I've ever had. It burned all the way down! No doubt I will be back to try several good sounding items on the menu. read more

This is my husband and I's favorite sushi restaurant. The sushi is always fresh and the service is always excellent. Our favorites are the Rock 'N' Roll roll and the Chili roll. My husband always judges a sushi place by its crawfish roll and, so far, Fuji has been the best! Fuji is by far the best sushi cafe in west Tennessee. My friends who visit from California always want to go to Fuji at least once when they ar in town. I prefer the simple sushi: tuna nigiri, sashimi, hand rolls, etc. They also make great specialty rolls if that's what you like. read more

Great service, great food. This was the first time I've started dinner with a warm towel in years. The wait staff took a teamwork approach from clearing dishes, serving drinks and entrees.
