A comfortable and classic dining experience in downtown Visalia. The food is always on point. Do not pass up the pizza. They got that brick oven flavor. They also have sweet potato fries! The food is always consistently fantastic and the customer service is phenomenal. These folks believe excellence is an attitude and bring that level of hospitality from beginning to end. You won't find a better dining experience around these parts!

We came in for lunch and the food was delicious. For bevs we ordered strawberry lemonade (5/5). We ordered the tempura asparagus as an appetizer (5/5). The cilantro chile-lime sauce was flavorful. We ordered the a cheese pizza (4/5), grilled chicken sandwich- the chicken was a little dry (4/5), margarita pizza (5/5), spicy chipotle chicken pasta (5/5). The chicken pasta noodle was "the best I've ever tasted" per my Mom. It had "perfect texture". The service was good. The server was quick to refill our drinks. The ambiance is upbeat. Low lighting and sort of an industrial (metal decor).

Came to celebrate my bday - great atmosphere at the restaurant. Food was so delicious and tasty! Got a bday cake treat from the restaurant at the end of the great evening already! Very happy!

A solid 3.5. Food was great. We had extremely large portions and well seasoned. Had plenty to take home. If it was just food this place would have been easily a 4.5. Service was inconsistent. No host at the door to greet us. Server was quick to get our order in and our drinks. Then disappeared after. 2 out of 4 of the appetizer plates were dirty. One even had a piece of food on it. We asked for new plates. We waited a very long time to get the check and boxes. Probably stopped eating 20 to 30 minutes before we easily were checked on. It was getting busy as many large parties were getting in; I don't think they were prepared for a busy night. We've had better service there, so I think it might have been an off night.

I had dinner here on my birthday in November and it was absolutely fantastic. I made a reservation, but my husband and I chose the bar top instead. The ambiance is classy yet not too stuffy or upscale. It definitely has that "I want to go out and be in style" vibe. We ordered the dinner for 2 for $120. My goodness, do you get a lot of food! You get one appetizer to share, 2 salads, 2 petite filets with shrimp, mashed potatoes, veggies, and a dessert. Everything was so good! The tempura asparagus were amazing and I don't even like asparagus! The steak was tender and cooked to perfection. The cheesecake really hit the spot. We also ordered some crafted cocktails and a bottle of wine. The service was wonderful. We will definitely be back.

The wait could've improved considering it wasn't busy. But the pizza and alcoholic drinks were worth 5 stars themselves

Once you arrive to the front of the hotel, they have parking on the left side of the building across the street which is specifically reserved for the Elderwood. It's not even a minute walk to the hotel. Once inside the concierge was very friendly and explained how to get there. You take the elevator up to the restaurant. The hotel itself was very charming, like going back in time but in style. The main elevator doesn't take you up straight to the restaurant, you can choose to walk up the stairs or take another elevator that's located on the right side. It's just 2 more floors up. We walked up the stairs and I'm glad we did, we were able to see the waiting area with some older pictures of the hotel. As well as the entrance into the restaurant. The servers were friendly and kindly let us know that we would be next to be seated. We chose to seat outside, they had small table heaters on the sides and we chose a table right next to the view. The view was fantastic.!! I was glad that our reservation was bright and early, we were able to watch the sunrise and have a couple of mimosas. The food; was delicious.!! Not only looked nice but was also very tasty. The mimosas were also fantastic. We got the mimosa flight, which came with 3 mimosas. Highly recommend.! We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and grabbed seats at the bar. Sam was our server and was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were spot on. The food absolutely did not disappoint. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Taco Salad, and it was enormous! The tortilla shell was so crispy and well-made that it actually held up for leftovers the next day. The jalapeño ranch had the perfect amount of heat and flavor. We also tried the Drunken Chicken Sandwich. Sam recommended getting it breaded, and I'm glad we listened. The homemade breadcrumb coating was light, crispy, and flavorful without being overly thick or salty. For appetizers, we shared the Fried Pork Belly Bites, which were paired with a delicious coleslaw and a sweet Korean-style BBQ sauce, and the Deviled Eggs, which were AMAZING. They came prepared three different ways, making it fun to try each variation. Honestly, I couldn't pick a favorite. Their beer selection was impressive, and I was especially excited to find Crow & Wolf's Dark Wolf Seltzer on tap, one of my favorites and not something you see everywhere. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of character. Even the ladies' restroom had quirky, fun artwork that added a unique touch to the atmosphere. The size and amount of tv's was impressive. If you're looking for a relaxed vibe, great drinks, exceptional service, and food that delivers, I highly recommend checking this place out. We'll definitely be back.

They offer indoor and outdoor seating, booths, tables and bar seating. We were greeted as we entered and seated immediately. Server explained all of the daily specials and brought drinks and bread while we decided what to order. Servings are large, food is fresh and delicious. I had the stroganoff, it was very good. From the moment you walk in, the entire place has an elegant, upscale feel that really sets it apart from your typical dining experience. One of the first things I appreciated was that the restaurant has its own private parking lot, which makes arriving and parking super convenient. When we arrived, there was a pianist playing live music upstairs, which added such a nice touch to the atmosphere. Between the historic decor, classic elegance, and live piano music, the entire restaurant has a sophisticated charm that's hard to find these days. The menu was excellent, with a great selection of dishes ranging from filet mignon to a variety of drinks and other fine dining options. I don't come down anymore cause I'm not one for the local bar scene next door, nor the bar scene within this location towards the back. Plus the parking is atrocious down this part of main. But I do get it delivered and it's never disappointed. My burger always comes hot and fresh, the meat still steaming, the cheese nice and melted and the bun a pillow and soft brioche. You can add whatever you want to your burger with an added surcharge for bacon, egg and some other items. But all the veg is free! Don't sleep on the (Stacked) Sauce, it's the house made sauce that's tangy, spicy and flavorful! Do be warned, it does have a kick! But if you like a little spicy, then it's gonna win you over! Crinkle fries are my "go-to" especially with the Stacked sauce. They have other options like onion rings, curly fries, cheese curds and so on. All look like great options but they definitely are more expensive through delivery around $7 to $8 dollars. Would love to see some shakes out of this place, hopefully one day. You can get a full combo for around $18 and that for the double. Trust me when I say, the burgers are huge! They will fill you up with a single, but if you're really hungry go double! The double is a monster! I called cause I forgot to add my sauces the other day and the girl who answered the phone was so sweet and understanding. She didn't have to help me out but she did and added them to my bag, huge win for that! Truly appreciate this place for the consistency and the quality.

The bar is tucked away at the back of the restaurant, which opens up to more seating. The space does feel a bit sticky and damp at times, so I'd recommend wearing shoes and washing your hands before sitting down. I prefer weekday visits as the bartenders aren't as rushed and the cocktails come out stronger and better balanced. When the drinks are made well, they're actually some of the better ones on the block. As for the food, it's on the pricier side considering how simple it is. I tried the fried mushrooms, zucchini, and pickles. All of them had a similar soft texture and the batter didn't cling too well to the lengthwise cut veggies. The coating was a bit thick and greasy and I wish the ranch had been colder to cut through the richness. Overall, Stacked is a fine place for drinks but I'd probably grab a bite to eat somewhere else first.
