There aren't that many places that offer the kind of food that they do here (clean and vegan); especially since Veggies NJB moved to Hawthorne & Nostrand. I work in the area and I literally hate coming here when the women are working. They have the nastiest attitudes and don't even want to answer questions about the products. They don't say Hi, even when you walk in saying hello. When I first started working in this area about a year ago I went there everyday for about 2 weeks and was not receiving my purchase stars. I showed them the proof in my banking app and was waved off by the same woman with the piercing under her bottom lip that always gives bad customer service. For every negative customer experience, I will be posting a new review. Something needs to change and I'm tired of the poor service and high prices. The two Hispanic females in the front STILL need to be replaced. Nasty attitudes and will ignore customers repeatedly. I waited until the blonde one came off the phone so she could take my order, then as she starts to take my order she takes another call and completely ignores me. Even went to the back for some time when she could have simply taken my order. She came back to the front as is literally ignoring me to search for an email. I had to ask 3 times if she could just take my order. They know they take forever to make orders, they don't take orders over the phone, and if you order on the app you can't earn loyalty stars. Now I'm back and the same phone that she was so eager to pick up, she is completely ignoring. This place's main focus is to give poor customer service. I just wish someone would open a place that offers vegan and plant-based options. I would never go here for my lunch break again.

First, the lady in the front has to work on her customer service. I don't frequent juice bars. I've never been in nor have wanted to dine at a Vegan spot. But on a 85 degree day that felt more like a 100- a cold juice was exactly what I needed and boy am I glad I crossed the street & met Fuel. Immaculately chic interior with my only gripe being the strong cleaning detergent odor- everything sounded intricate, intriguing, and pricey, especially for the area. Clearly this spot is new age and targeting a certain "equinox" type clientele. Nevertheless, I bugged the lady at the counter to give me her recommendations and settled on the quinoa black chicken seitan bowl. And a hot turmeric latte, with cashew milk. How cool is that? Let me be the first to say- it's not even about that. 15 minutes later I am given this made to order frothy hot latte and this piping hot bowl of beautifully portioned and balanced plate of art. And by golly- I did a double take. If this is being vegan- I want to be vegan all day long. That's all I gotta say about that- go find out for yourself. Ps. I'm prolly gonna stop by for their workout açaí bowl as I witness a dude eat one in front of me and promptly ordered a second.
The Super Food quinoa bowl was great and had good flavours. Didn't expect it to be so filling but it was! Make a great lunch. Also ordered the açai bowl which was yummy and not too sweet. Sadly there were plastic pieces found in the bottom of the açai bowl.. not just one but three huge pieces and one tiny piece.
Their food is ok cause I'm just not used to that taste but their smoothies are really good and have a lot of options to customize it
They almost had five stars!! Where was the air conditioning? My favorite bowl (welp it's the only bowl actually) is the marinated mushroom bowl. It's completely vegan. This is worry-free vegan ordering. I love that they have chicken seitan (the guy pronounced it Satan but I ignored him). The wait was a bit long but I wasn't in a hurry. If you're in a hurry, order ahead. My new work hangout because they have everything I would ever want. But they have to get that air blowing or I ain't comin.

This is absolutely the worse place to order from online. The food is never ready when the driver arrives and they busy in the back laughing and talking on the little cordless phone rather than making orders. If you're in the back making food and you have a person at the front counter why are you even on a phone. I can't with this place.
I discovers this place on UberEATS and ooh what a good find while in NYC on business and my desire to continue to eat healthy while traveling. I've had a variety of items from Fuel including daily juice cleanse packages and various veggie bowls and salads. Items I've Enjoyed: Falafel Hummus Bowl - This bowl is super yummy especially the two scoops of hummus plopped on top which are both different hummus flavors Kale Lime Marinated Salad - This salad is so good the kale is marinated perfectly and the tomatoes are plump and the sprouts add that extra flare as well as the sliced whole avocado. The game changer is the seaweed piece atop which adds flavor merging greatness. Super Food Quinoa Bowl - This bowl is super Food Super Good with so many varieties of flavors Quinoa Kale Bowl - The Quinoa is perfected blended as far as flavors with the kale Wild Salmon Bowl - This bowl is my second FAV well it's a tie with the Kale Lime Marinated salad. The forbidden rice and the avocado and red onions as well as the cilantro blend this bowl together oooh so amazingly perfect. Juices: Carrot Glow Easy Green Just Greens Beet Street Spice and Citrus Good Food and HEALTHY (Very flavorful Healthy eating) All that goodness and why not 5 stars you ask? Well the answer is simple. I on two occasions received fresh juice that I should not have received as the date marked on the bottle was a day prior to the delivery which means the juice should've been consumed by the day prior. I do believe they may have made a mistake as I did call and was told that this should not have happened which prompted me to call after placing my order in hopes that my juice can be made right then and there as I can only hope and have been told that is the case. Since I'm using UberEats I can only listen to the staff and hope for the best and if not I can tell if the juice isn't fresh since I do juice myself and know it shouldn't be consumed after 3days if stored in a Mason jar and if cold pressed you have more time.
Great post-workout spot to get smoothies, wraps and salads! This beats the other "juice bar" I went to where they skimped out on some ingredients in my drink AND my meal. The Purple Haze smoothie is a must try. I've never had hemp protein and Spirulina in a smoothie before but I must say, I enjoyed it. Clean, friendly and quick service. Nothing beats that! Looking forward to trying out their salads and food bowls next time!
I ordered a salmon sandwich no bread with sauce on the side, I know it sounds high maintenance but you can't customize their bowls right now. What I got was a weird chopped salmon, super saucy, lettuce mix. Pics are expectation based on menu image vs reality. Smoothie was delicious and delivery person was great.
Was in the area for a shoot and stumbled upon this place. What a great discovery! Fresh juices! Wraps! And Salads! Accomdating Raw Vegans as well! Such a great find for this area! The falafel wrap was great! Wrapped in a collard green leaf. Smoothie: had the Mangoeric (mango, almond milk, cinnamon, chia seeds) different but very tasty. Also the Amazonian was delish! If in the area definitely stop by for breakfast, lunch or dinner =)
So, decided to stop in on my walk home after my workout. I must say I VERY HAPPY I did. I had the absolute BEST acai bowl I have ever had. I decided to try the pre/post workout bowl. It was full of such goodness!! In addition to the bottom, which has Brazilian nuts, almonds and dates; and the filling, which has almond milk, acai, bananas,blueberries and agave; and the topping which has granola and fresh fruit, there were chia seeds, almond butter, and hemp protein added in the filling and chia seeds on top. I immediately fell in love!!! And I got is super quick. Jennifer, the lovely young lady behind the blender and register did an amazing job with customer service and my bowl. Five kisses to Fuel Juice Bar. I will certainly return.
My coworker and I were trying to decide where to have lunch last week while attending a training/workshop at one of the field offices. We were looking forward to a much needed break so that we could go outside and walk somewhere to enjoy the beautiful weather. My coworker is vegan and happily mentioned the Fuel Juice Bar. Once we walked up to the front door and went inside, I was so glad that this cute place was suggested! The Fuel Juice Bar receives a 4.75 out of 5 stars for their fresh food products and lovely decor! Fuel Juice Bar has a unique and calming, atmosphere. Decor included beautiful plants, interesting looking light bulbs attached to sticks, plant - looking chandeliers with light bulb arrangements attached to rope like fixtures, etc. I was immediately drawn to and sat in one of their cool swinging chairs. It gave me the "being on the park swing" combined with "being in a hammock" kind of feeling which made me very relaxed....so much so that I accidentally delayed ordering my food.-lol. Getting refocused because we only had an hour lunch break, I began to peruse the menu. Everything from their "Healthy Isn't a Goal, It's a Way of Living" slogan on a mini-chalkboard near the register to their healthy food/beverage items on the menu lets customers know the this eatery definitely promotes healthy eating/healthy lifestyle. Fuel Juice Bar had a good variety of smoothies, cold pressed juices, acai bowls, salads and raw vegan dishes + desserts. I ordered a Wild Chicken Bowl ($12) which includes brown rice, grilled chicken and some of the freshest vegetables that tasted delicious! My coworker had an Avocado Salad and she stated it was very good. Fuel Juice Bar's website gives customers the option of placing your order online. One is also able to provide their email address to subscribe to Fuel Juice Bar's newsletter to receive updates and information. I was in the area for an event nearby; I wanted a healthy option and looked for the closest juice bar. As my friend who invited me to the event lives on this block-- it was picture perfect. The place was relatively empty other than one person ahead of me. I was still browsing the menu once the employee was done with her so he began to make her order. As I've read the reviews after my purchase, I noticed several complaints about the customer service I can kind of see where they are coming from. Although I wasn't prepared he still could have addressed me. Finally when I was ready a lady came out of the back and I ordered the Pineapple Raspberry Colada (Pineapple, Banana, Raspberry, Coconut, Agave and Almond Milk) which comes to 9.25 after tax. The drink was just ok; I thought for what I received, the price point could have been lower. The establishment itself is small but ample. They have some comfortable swings and a decent menu. Everything looked clean and seems like a good thing to have in the community. I do hope some of the staff members look at the reviews and can improve the service here and put as much emphasis on customer service, as they do on placing signs for tips. (I saw three signs I believe, in regards to tipping which seems like over kill to me.) read more

These bowls are DELICIOUS! I Ordered through seamless and I couldn't believe how tasty the peanut butter açaí bowl was! My order was ready quickly and would order it again! If you love peanut butter, walnuts, strawberries this is the answer to any craving! read more

Clean environment, healthy choices and fresh ingredients. I found it to be a bit pricey but you do get what you pay for. I would def visit again after my visit from the gym. The young lady who made my smoothie can be a little more engaging with the clients. It goes a long way. Wishing you guys continued success. read more

I'm writing this review from the point of a person who has seen customer service skills get lower and lower. I walk into the listed location with the assumption that all the locations had the same items on the menu, as I was placing an order for a friend. However, to my dismay they do not. The young lady behind the counter looked like she had just rolled out of bed and her disposition mirrored her appearance. When I was unclear of some of the food choices she offered no help, only to call the person and "make sure I ordered the correct item as they are many options". Now ordinary I would not thinktwice about that suggestion, however when it's placed with a little bit of aggression I now hear it differently. I would not be revisiting this location based on its bad first impression and poor customer service. read more

I got a Purple Haze Smoothie which was deliciously healthy. I waited whilst the smoothie was being made in the hammock chairs which was fun and comfortable. Before leaving I wanted to try a piece of the vegan chocolate cake which I can say was worth the sample. Thank you for the visit today Fuel! read more
I noticed this spot before and I was passing it today, so lucky for me I decided to stop in. "Fuel Juice Bar" is a nice corner spot on Fulton. When I walked in they were playing Spanish music that made the day sound colorful. I danced up to the counter and noticed they had a prepared menu of smoothies, sandwiches, salads and soup bowls. I made my own smoothie because I wanted bananas and strawberries. The gentleman behind the counter recommended I try Agave, a sweet ingredient, to add some flavor. I took his advice and they went to work on my smoothie. I danced to the music and feed of the energy in "Fuel." When my smoothie was ready I tried it out. All I can say is bravo to the man that recommended Agave! It added something I never knew was missing from my smoothie. I think I can only have it made this way now. Almond milk and agave are my new best friends. I will definitely be back for the smoothies and a life pick me up! vienen por la música, estancia para un batido! read more

I have been ordered from here for a while. The food is great. I love everything I order. The orders just sometimes take a very long time. Also some of the prices are a bit out there for just a bagel or something small like that. Over all I recommend it if you have the cash for it. read more

Literally 1 hunk of sweet potato and a pile of wilted lettuce, a hunk if avocado, handful of rice and beans which only filled half the dish for $15. Insane. Didnt include other things listed in the description ...Took over an hour to arrive. Both my friends who ordered salads are complaining too :( Very disappointed and still hungry :-( wont be ordering from here ever again read more

I heard about this place and omg I'm in love!!! I had the cold pressed iced coffee with cashew milk sweetened with agave. I also tried the turmeric shot and also had to get my wheat grass shot also. The thing I love most about this place is that every thing is freshly made. They make their own cashew and almond milk which tastes amazing!!! I'm so sad that it's so far away. But anytime I'm in the area I'm definitely stopping by. The workers were so nice and patient sinice it was my first time I was like a kid in a candy store. When u find a gem of a place like this...omg...I'm just in love. Keep it up guys!!! read more

I orded Green Warrior Bowl and a smoothie, my order came 1 and half hour later. 'Green' Warrior Bowl is absolutely false, something like frozen acai sorbet came up. There is absolutely nothing green in it. When I call the restaurant they said this is how they make it and they cannot make refund. What is worse, the guy on the phone hung up the phone on me. How can you like a place after all this experience? read more

I really love the aesthetic of this place, I haven't tried the food but I really enjoyed the purple haze smoothie. I make smoothies at home a lot but I don't know why their spirulina smoothies just taste so much better than mine! Maybe it's the nut butters... The reason why I stopped in was cause they have this dog house outside of their store that I thought was interesting so I asked about it. Apparently it's a smart, on-demand dog house that you can drop your dog off in (doesn't have to be for Fuel Juice, you can use it as long as you have the membership for Dog Parker) instead of tying them up outside of stores. I think it's a great dog friendly addition to the neighborhood! read more
