Fortunately, we spotted a great Jeep online at Motorcars Ltd. in Mt. Vernon. They were a breath of fresh air - no hard sell, no misrepresentation, just an honest and pleasant experience in a very nice showroom. Mark was our guy who, from the first phone call to the end of the sales transaction, was friendly, efficient and catered to our needs. We love our Jeep and are very satisfied with the fair price and ease of wrapping up the deal.

Review Update: I want to give everyone an update because…read morethis situation is far from over. I now have active correspondence with the Washington Department of Licensing, and I've submitted all purchase documents, inspection reports, and communication showing exactly what happened. This dealership sold me a six-figure sports car with dangerously worn brakes and sent me on a 13-hour drive back to California without disclosing it. Two independent inspections confirmed the truth -- not the story they tried to spin after the fact. If you've had any similar issues with Motorcars Limited -- misleading inspections, hidden problems, or safety concerns -- speak up. The more people who report their experiences, the harder it becomes for situations like this to be ignored. If enough of us come forward, there may even be grounds for a class action. Dealers don't get to gamble with customer safety or hide behind polished replies while ignoring real issues. I'm not stopping, and I encourage others who were treated this way to stand up as well.

Zero pressure, no part of the general attitude of car salesmen aka "what's your price range? ... well how bout we stretch your payments 30 years and your golden!" Through the whole process they were respectful, fun, zero pressure; felt like you were discussing buying a car from a friend or family member. They helped me a LOT, made the deal work for me and have me a great price on my trade in. Seriously, these guys are grade A. Thanks bros, you guys made car buying actually fun. Ps love love love my new acadia!!

Then guess what, they gave me the wrong key, was told id get a correct key soon. Weeks went by. Nothing. Key man ghosted us. I call auto track, talked to Jeff, he said "all you like to do is argue." No, if that was the case i would have been calling you way before 2 plus weeks had lapsed. I called once, you argued and said you "finished the job" and for me to "just put the key on a key ring, it doesn't need to go IN the key fob." You promised me a working key that FITS in my key fob. And said many times "its only $50...Its not that big of a deal." Then why are you making it a big deal?? Its just a $50 key fob! Stay away from this business. This was only 10% of my really bad experience here. I saw the reviews and was like, its cant be THAT bad.... Its that bad. Lol he also wont stop texting means calling me now that he wants to SUDDENLY fix my key issue after i said i dont want to wreck his google ratings. Nope. Sorry bud i gave you a chance. He also said "its okay, ill report it to google and say you're lying about everything." Lolol then why are all the other bad reviews still up??? Read my past google reviews. Im not a karen. I usually leave very positive reviews for local businesses. Not this one. This was shockingly bad. Jeff also had blood dripping from his knuckles and face for most of our interactions. Dont know what that was about... One more thing, Jeff stop saying you "discounted the car for me." The car was listed at 11k before i came it. I bought it for 11k. You didnt discount anything "For me."

He had some beautiful cars out there in fantastic shape. I was looking for a trans am and he had three of them, they were all gorgeous and in perfect shape. Luther is very personable and friendly and knowledgeable. He knew just about everything about the cars he had there. He was not pushy or aggressive just very helpful. I finally decided on the car I wanted and we struck a deal. He even gave me the name of his mechanic in Burlington that works on classic cars. I am very happy with my purchase I'm very happy with Luther and the whole buying experience was fantastic. I would highly recommend him to anybody looking for a classic car you can't go wrong. Recently purchase and had shipped from the lot near Seattle to Albuquerque an pricey early 70s…read moremuscle car from this car lot and the owner who verbally claims over the phone that he has a good reputation. Well, perhaps he doesn't care to keep up that reputation. These are the pure facts-I have all of the invoices and quotes in hand. Before I bought it, over the phone the owner said the A/C was working. Not true. A/C was not working-blowing hot air when it arrived and the compressor belt was seizing up. Put in new compressor-$700. Now just barely working but essentially useless. My mechanic says the only way to get it working is to purchase an aftermarket full AC kit-parts/labor-$2500. When I called him about this he gave the lame excuse that AC is not really used much in the Pacific NW-I know-I lived in Portland OR for 12 years but this excuse is just a red herring. The battery was rated for up to 7 years-when the car arrived date on it confirmed it was 7.5 years old. It died within a week of receiving the car while I was driving it. $175 to replace. The windshield wipers were misaligned and not functioning fully. This car was in the Pacific NW where it rains regularly. Parts and Labor $175. The driver's side lock did not work and had to be removed and rekeyed. $100 The carburetor was in terrible shape and the car kept stalling-had to do a full rebuild-$400. The manual clutch was very, very loose and at end of life and the clutch assembly needed to be replaced-$700. In short, it appears he is running a business selling older cars THAT REQUIRE some sort of checklist when he brings them in. Yet appears there is little to none QA-quality assurance. How can that possibly be? He actually said he didn't know about the door lock not working. Again, how can that be-the car was just left unlocked the whole time it was in his possession? In closing, it is abundantly clear that he is running a shady ship here and he misrepresented his product in this case in a severe way. Further he implied I should have no issues about these issues since he discounted the price for me. Again, another red herring, a non-starter. That is called negotiating! No one held a gun to his head and made him do this deal. In the end, this turned out to be a borderline nightmare-I am still dealing with issues on this over 3 months later. So far I am almost $2500 into this for fixes with another $2500 needed for the AC kit install. All of this point to the only conclusion that one can arrive at: the company is run by a shyster.

You may think u bought as is yeah a running driving truck that had been properly inspected. How is it possible for anybody to get enough water in the fuel to corrode injectors and burn up a lift pump it's not possible in that short amount of time so my recommendation is I would not buy a vehicle from them they make it great but as soon as something's wrong with it, they have no idea and they blame it on you. It's your fault. and they will say they're more than willing to help. what they mean by that contacting your warranty company and ask is this covered or not then what they tell you they can't help you worst experience I've ever had in my life and it probably will be the worst for the rest of my life

So I took it to another shop, closer to my home, to get an estimate. That shop, which shall remain nameless, told me that not only did it need brake pads and new rotors (which I was figuring on, anyway) but the calipers were shot also and they needed to be replaced. They quoted the front brakes at close to $650, plus tax. They also told me that the rear brakes were at about 5% and needed some additional parts replaced as well, coming to an additional $550, plus tax. I couldn't afford that at the time, so I took their estimate and waited for a payday or two so I could afford to get at least the front brakes done. I was referred to JP Automotive by the folks at Virg's Brake & Suspension because they couldn't fit us in to their schedule and we needed the work done ASAP, and JP Automotive delivered big time. JP Automotive scheduled us for the following morning WITH A FREE LOANER CAR. When Mike called with to let me know what they found and what the actual cost would be - before they started the work, so I could approve before they stuck me with a bill - he told me that they really didn't need to replace the calipers, the ones that are on the car are just fine. So they saved me $250 or so that I didn't need to spend, and they got the work done and had our car back to us by noon that same day all for about $200 less than "that other place". Now that is what I call world class service! JP Automotive has earned a customer for life.
