    I am writing this on behalf of my mother in law. She has been a long time customer here and never…read morequestioned the service. She recently brought her car in for an oil change and they brought up a few other items that she should take care of, one of them being her brakes. The CSR gave her a form that listed she needed pads, rotors, and calipers to the tune of +/- $1,800. Thankfully my son was with his grandma and the suggestion of calipers struck him as odd. I am a mechanic so they had me take a look at the information provided. The Burlington Automotives mechanic that did the inspection on her car did call out her brake pads(and a few other small service items), but did not call out rotors or calipers. I did a brake job on her car and, indeed, it only needed pads with the rotors being perfectly smooth and within spec. The calipers were also in great shape with the dust seals still attached, no cracks or anything like that. We went to talk with Louis, the Store Manager, and he first said that pads and rotors are often changed together and thought it was weird the mechanic didn't call out the rotors. I stated it was because the rotors are fine. I asked about calipers and he went into a story about them potentially seizing if there is wear, again, not called out by the mechanic and the dust seals are in great shape. He then said that the CSR was "new" which is a cop out. If the person is "new", they should have oversight and that still doesn't explain how the mechanic got it right and the CSR got it wrong. When I asked what thier policy is for the hand off of information, he said the CSR should take exactly what the mechanic says BUT rotors and pads go together because It can cause uneven wear, we also dont turn rotors, we just go new. It is a real shame because this sort of things gives all mechanics a bad name. To be clear, the actual mechanic's report was on point and I think he was a fine mechanic. The CSR and Store Manager, though, should be ashamed of themselves At the end of the day, they tried to screw an old lady out of a bunch of money. Louis barely apologized, trying to make every excuse he could to get out of admitting they wronged her. They didn't have her best interest in mind.... do they have yours?

The rest of humanity however, well that was a different story: It was Zero Hour of SNOW-DOOMAPOCALYPSAGEDDON...I had planned to get my oil changed that weekend in Elma, following a trip there. No way that was happening, what with people running for their lives clearing off store shelves on account of a few snowflakes falling from the sky, and not having a clue on how to drive in just a couple inches of snow. Travelling over 200 minutes amidst humans like that, along with humans who had probably never seen snow, or even just a few inches of the stuff is just asking for trouble - even if you know how to drive in those conditions! There was also no way I was going to subject my car, and wallet, to Jiffy Lube! On the flip side, having all those scared shitless humans running around, Blade Chevy had a lot of cancellations! (Seriously, you could still see pavement at that point!) Even though they were getting ready to leave, since there were no longer any customers for the day, they stayed open for the ten minutes it took to get there, and have the work done. Everyone was very pleasant and accommodating. Upon my advising, to my dismay, that I had left my phone charging cable in my car, they happily escorted me to my car so I could retrieve it. Service was fast, efficient, and well done. I think I was in the very comfortable waiting room (the comfy chairs even had little swing out tables for your laptop!!!) for maybe 20 minutes. The technician even noted that my PCV valve/breather needed cleaning! This turned out to be a big deal, as after I replaced it, my engine was much happier!

Garbage on the passenger floor. Boxes and trash in the back seat. Dirty old golf glove and unknown amount of trash. Very disappointing. The incident made me question the way this dealer operates. Drove to Bellingham and bought a car just like it with 4000 miles less at the same price and it was clean. Sorry blade you lost an easy sale.

We stopped by to grab a roll of rodent tape from the parts department…read more- it's the stuff you wrap a wiring harness in to keep mice from chewing on it - Honda is famous for having the best stuff. We parked in front of the showroom and assumed that the parts department would be around the side - but which side? We went to the right, which was the wrong move. A salesperson and two other representatives immediately came out of the showroom to ask if we needed help finding something - the approach made it feel like we were up to no good and they were checking up on us. They pointed us in the right direction, which is through the showroom. It turns out that there is a side entrance - from the left side. The parts guy was helpful, but he wanted to charge a huge markup on a roll of tape... $82! For reference, this can be found online from other Honda dealers for about $45. He suggested that the high price was fair because we can have it today! We managed to talk him down to $65, which is still high, but we got it that day. On the way out, one of the sales guys complimented our old Model S, which was appreciated. Thoughts overall - the employee to customer ratio was probably 5:1, the initial interaction was a turnoff, and the price gouging isn't going to win any repeat business. On the positive side, and to be totally fair, the dealership was clean, the cars on the lot were staged well and clean, the parts department had some neat swag, the restrooms were nice and the location is convenient.

My husband wanted to complete the deal on the car, which I wasn't expecting to purchase at that time, so I did not get to finish with Crystal and can't speak to the final process. That's the only reason why I can't grade on that and post 5 stars (yelp won't let me post 4.5 stars). I'm sure the final purchase would have been a fine success with her help. I would recommend The Car Bulldog / Crystal to anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle, without the stress!

After a thorough run-down on what I was looking for and what were must haves vs nice to haves, Crystal starting texting me options to review within days. I couldn't believe how quickly everthing went. The best part was going ino the dealership knowing a team was on my side. The contract total was already written up, the paperwork was done and waiting for me. When a question came up, I made a call and the contract expert talked out a detail with the dealership, and that was settled in minutes. It was such a relief for me not to have to worry about them adding extra costs at the last minute. I think my trip to the dealership to buy my car took about under an hour! In and out - amazing!! My sister was having a tough time with another broker, and I recommended Crystal and she was also impressed with the quick an excellent service. I will definiitely be recommending The Car Bulldog to everyone I know shopping for a car!
