So... My Jeep Grand Cherokee's water pump failed when I was up on the Samish overlook, and I spent hours getting back to a repair shop because I had to let the engine cool for 45 minutes after only running it for 5 minutes. Reading the reviews, I learned that people had great experiences at Jimenez in Burlington and decided to give them a shot as well. This turned out to be an awesome decision! It appears to be a Father-Son operation, but they really know their stuff, and are absolutely committed to their customers. They were there working on Saturday, and had my water pump replaced with fresh coolant and a new serpentine belt. Also, I knew about my rear brakes getting worn, but they let me know about that as well. These are good guys. They will make sure you are happy, and will not try to rip you off. read more

Good service, they know what they are doing! I highly recommend them. They figured it out quickly and the issue disappeared. read more

Greg is a fabulous mechanic! Great prices great service would definitely recommend this business!!

I brought my new-to-me 1992 Ford F150 in because it wouldn't start sometimes. It took them a long time to find the problem. That is what I hoped for in a mechanic. They kept looking, trying different things until they were confident they found the problem. They did more work that was needed before it became a problem. Now it runs great. I chose them because they had good reviews. I am happy to add mine to the list. read more

I was stuck in Burlington with a broken alternator, trying to get home. Hilario answered the call, and got me in the door and on the road the same day. Fast and friendly, Hilario explained the problem, got the parts, and got my van repaired for a fair price. read more

Nice work on my car window regulator. Thanks for the fair price and time they put into it. They know exactly what they're doing and I would trust my car in their shop. They are professional, straight to the point. Nice to know a mechanic in town that won't rip you off or do a poor job. This shop is very reliable and fair and very good at auto repairs. read more

I dropped off my car to have my timing belt water pump replaced. They gave me a ride back home because I didn't have any other transportation.. Then they called and said the car is ready. Do I need to come and pick you up which I did. I was quoted a price from a couple different mechanics that work for hire. These guys seemed to do a good job. The car is running great. I got all my old parts back in a box and I'm completely satisfied. read more

My car (Subaru forester) was acting up. It acted like mice had gotten at my wiring (again). I went in and "Greg" took virtually one look and found the problem. I'd looked but I didn't see what he saw. His knowledge and intelligence saved the day, and you want you mechanic to be smart! read more

I've done business with this mechanic for years and they continue to impress me with their honesty, transparency and good work. Their prices are always completely fair, they'll work around my schedule and they always deliver on time. I can't speak more highly of them or recommend them more. I have two vehicles (a 2003 Honda Element, and 2018 Honda Ridgeline) and they service/repair both. Additionally, the company I work for has its entire fleet serviced at Jimenez - they not only service, repair and maintain our fleet (23 vehicles in the north location), they also installed our GPS and help us maintain that program as well. They are the best! read more

LIFESAVER- Literally! A few weeks ago, my daughter was driving up to Bellingham on a Friday afternoon, in her newly purchased used car. She was halfway there when she called me in a panic. The car was shaking tremendously, and making a horribly loud sound. (Of course she also noted that it had been doing this for a good portion of the drive already, but had gotten worse to the point that it was scaring her before she decided to call!). I told her to pull off at the next exit, which was in Burlington. As it was already 6:30 pm at this point, I started searching for auto repair places in the area that would be open on Saturdays, figuring I would have AAA tow her car there so it could be worked on in the morning. I came across good reviews of Jimenez auto repair, and they were just one exit down from where she had pulled off the freeway. They were open Saturdays, but I also noticed they were open till 7 pm on Fridays! It was 6:55 pm and I called the shop simply to inquire if they thought they'd be able to work on the car the next day. Hilario answered the phone, and when I told him what was going on, he suggested if she felt like she could drive it the couple of miles to the shop, he could look at it that night! I asked wasn't he closing in 5 mins? And he said he'd be there for at least another hour. So my daughter drove over to Jimenez Auto Repair, Hilario immediately stopped what he was doing to look at her vehicle. He took it for a test drive, and before she knew it, he had it up on the lift and was working on it. The diagnosis was loose lug nuts on one of the front wheels. My daughter asked him how much it cost, and he said nothing. She said, "no really, how much do I owe you?" And he replied again, "Nothing, it is ok, it was a simple fix." My daughter was so touched by his kindness she called me in tears, saying that for future repairs on her car, she wants to drive all the way up from Seattle, simply so she can give this good shop her business. I called the shop the next Monday, to find out who had helped her, and I was able to thank Hilario over the phone. I really couldn't thank him enough, as I can't imagine what would have happened if the wheel had fallen off while my daughter was cruising on the freeway. Thank you Hilario and Jimenez Auto Repair! We hope to be back! (under non-emergency circumstances!) read more

I was fortunate to find Jimenez Auto Repair. It was a Friday about 5pm, it was gonna be until Monday for my car to be looked at. I had previously gotten a quote from a Dodge dealership on some electrical work that needed done, it would have been $600. When I called a spoke to Hilario, he had me bring my truck in after it wouldn't start, now it was the electrical issue and the battery. He got it up and running in no time plus did an oil and air filter change, all for under $600. I will definitely be going back and recommending friends and family!! read more

Hilario is a life-saver. After breaking down on the side of the freeway on a Friday evening during rush hour traffic we were worried that we would be stranded until shops opened up on Monday. The tow truck driver knew Jimenez Auto Repair was open on Saturday and had a good reputation so that's were he took us late Friday night. In the morning Hilario, the owner, sadly informed us that we would need a new transmission. We were able to leave the car with him for repairs while we continued on our trip to Canada with his assurance that the car would be ready to go by the time we came back on the following Saturday - even though it fell on Labor Day weekend. Hilario was able to find a transmission with a nation-wide warranty, get it installed, and have everything ready to when we rolled into town on Saturday morning. I would highly recommend this garage. read more

Hilario and his son, whose name escapes me now, are wonderful. I had a big trip just a couple of days away, and my car started having troubles, I called around and got lots of 'we can see your car in a week' messages. They told me an honest assessment of what they would do, and what was cost effective. They got me in, and resolved the issue. I took my trip out of state, and everything worked out great. I trust them, as they have taken very good care of me and my cars in the couple of years since then. read more

Jimenez Auto Repair provided excellent service and were Very professional and friendly. I had an issue with my car not sure exactly what was wrong when I called them to ask about it I could bring it in They were more than kind asked me some questions to try to get some information on what might have been the problem. So I took the car in they checked it out discovered what the problems were and was able to fix and explain exactly What was wrong. This was my first time that I had taken my car to them and I was extremely pleased with how they took care of it But more important they were kind courteous and honest With what needed to be done to fix my car I highly recommend them if you need car repairs in the future. read more

I needed my timing belt and front and rear brakes replaced. They were super helpful, stayed in communication with the progress of the repairs and had it completed when they said it would and the cost was exactly what we had discussed. Super friendly guys, knowledgeable and great at what they do. I hate car repairs and tend to procrastinate as long as possible, but next time I need something done, I will for sure bring it back here. Highly recommend! read more

I stopped by because of an air bag light problem on my 2008 Sonata. I got quick, friendly and professional attention. I could not have asked for better service. As a new resident to the Skagit Valley, I have now found my go-to mechanic. read more

These guys are AWESOME. I rolled up with a -technically- totaled car, fresh off the ferry from Alaska. I was on an absolute shoestring budget and they were more than happy to work with me, even in my unusual circumstances. They got me an awesome deal on a new windshield, and fixed my shattered sunroof by adhering a roof from another scrapped car (my request; couldn't afford a replacement sunroof.) Hilario and his son treated me with generosity and kindness from start to finish. A great family run shop. Big thanks from the girl with the busted up Subaru! You guys are the best. read more

The guy named Sergio that does the body work is amazing! I seriously think my car looked better than when I first bought it after he fixed it after my accident. Gracias Sergio! If you want your car to look as good as it did before your accident then you can trust Sergio and the rest of the guys at Jimenez Auto to make it happen, fair price too on top of it. read more

He has come to the rescue many times and always gone out of his way to help. He does excellent work and charges fair prices. Called Jimenez at 5:35 (they close at 5:30) on a Wednesday. We had a belt break. These guys stayed after work to run to the auto parts store while we towed our vehicle to their garage. From the time we called to the time we were on the road (including the towing), we were on the road again in less than two hours. Thanks to Jimenez for taking us in, working late, and getting us on the road for our family vacation. You rock! read more

I called Hilario after seeing a Mechanic in the Seattle area. My car needed it's timing belt replaced and I was quoted by Village Auto a $1,000 bill. Hilario quoted me a $550 bill, much more reasonable. I went to pick up my car and the bill was $100 less than what he quoted! Bottom line: he is reliable and honest. He always finishes his work in the amount of time quoted. I'm surprised he doesn't have any reviews! I recommend taking your car to Hilario for your auto repair needs. read more

Our windshield wiper broke in the middle of a rainstorm while heading up North from Seattle. A google search in the area led us to Jimenez Auto Repair and we were fortunate that it did. The mechanics put on a pot of coffee and made room in the garage for us while we were on our way. They were ready to get to work as soon as we pulled up and had us back on the road in no time. The staff were very friendly and courteous throughout. I would highly recommend this repair shop to anyone. read more
