I was misled by this outfit. They tried to sell me an expensive repair that turned out not to be necessary. Go somewhere else!

He seems very honest and explains everything. I asked him about any other issues with our 26 year old truck. He pointed out some problems that should be addressed but none were immediate necessities. I plan to go back and have the work done there. Highly recommend.

I was contacted on Monday that they would be able to begin working on my vehicle between Wednesday and Thursday. as of today, Thursday, I was contacted by a different person from this business claiming that they had attempted to call me yesterday, but from a personal phone and left no voicemail, stating that the shop is closed and will not be available for work for up to two more weeks. the people aren't even communicating with each other and are wasting peoples time and money. they need to fully post that they are closed to business and tell tow companies and insurance not to bring vehicles in until they are functional again. this is outrageous and a complete waste of the last five days where I possibly could have had it already looked at and addressed at an actual shop that is operating normally and honestly. highly dissatisfied and disappointing.

She recently brought her car in for an oil change and they brought up a few other items that she should take care of, one of them being her brakes. The CSR gave her a form that listed she needed pads, rotors, and calipers to the tune of +/- $1,800. Thankfully my son was with his grandma and the suggestion of calipers struck him as odd. I am a mechanic so they had me take a look at the information provided. The Burlington Automotives mechanic that did the inspection on her car did call out her brake pads(and a few other small service items), but did not call out rotors or calipers. I did a brake job on her car and, indeed, it only needed pads with the rotors being perfectly smooth and within spec. The calipers were also in great shape with the dust seals still attached, no cracks or anything like that. We went to talk with Louis, the Store Manager, and he first said that pads and rotors are often changed together and thought it was weird the mechanic didn't call out the rotors. I stated it was because the rotors are fine. I asked about calipers and he went into a story about them potentially seizing if there is wear, again, not called out by the mechanic and the dust seals are in great shape. He then said that the CSR was "new" which is a cop out. If the person is "new", they should have oversight and that still doesn't explain how the mechanic got it right and the CSR got it wrong. When I asked what thier policy is for the hand off of information, he said the CSR should take exactly what the mechanic says BUT rotors and pads go together because It can cause uneven wear, we also dont turn rotors, we just go new. It is a real shame because this sort of things gives all mechanics a bad name. To be clear, the actual mechanic's report was on point and I think he was a fine mechanic. The CSR and Store Manager, though, should be ashamed of themselves At the end of the day, they tried to screw an old lady out of a bunch of money. Louis barely apologized, trying to make every excuse he could to get out of admitting they wronged her. They didn't have her best interest in mind.... do they have yours?

I visited based on a hunch after being told elsewhere that I needed an expensive catalytic converter replacement. The mechanic here, a true Volvo aficionado (owning more Volvos than the founder of IKEA), diagnosed the issue within minutes. Instead of a costly repair, it was just two coils that needed replacing. The cost? A quarter of what I was originally quoted. It wasn't just about saving money, though. It was about finding that rare mechanic with an incredible depth of knowledge, able to diagnose problems on the spot. The efficiency and expertise here are unmatched. As I write this, I'm almost hesitant to share how great this shop is. I fear it'll become too popular and I'll have to wait weeks for an appointment! It's that good. Highly recommended for anyone seeking honest, expert service, especially for Volvos.

I have a 2014 Subaru Impreza sedan that sustained some damage to the exhaust (6" clearance on the vehicle). Also, the muffler was a bit noisy from a modification done by a previous owner. Ben Richards Fabrication gave me a good price (welded on a a new muffler rather than installing a more expensive bolt-on attachment). My primary complaint is that they could have confirmed scope with me before moving forward. (We had discussed the scope, but I would have liked to have given the go ahead before they started.)
