As someone who is totally clueless about cars, they were honest about what was essential versus non essential to repair so I could stay within budget and they answered all of my many questions thoughtfully, thoroughly, and with kindness. Protech mechanics made sure they didn't miss anything through their detailed inspection and diagnostics. They did not try to pull one over on me and upsell like many mechanic shops do. The cost was completely reasonable given the cost of parts and time for repairs. Additionally, they were not just going through the motions of their job, they really went the extra mile (pun intended lol) picking me up so I didn't have to walk to the shop to make my payment and get my vehicle. They go above and beyond for their customers. Everything that needed repaired with my car was repaired, I got to ride with the mechanic to ensure it was fixed and ask any last questions, and overall could not be more satisfied with this experience. I will absolutely be returning for all future services!

They had it for 2 days and when I got it back there was a heavy vibration and howling sound. their 90 day warranty was not honored as they said for another nearly 1,000 which was already payed the first time. I took the odometer reading before then after,as there was 12 miles they put on. I paid 2,850 to have it done right by a car dealer. $3,850 total. Motor mount was left loose, engine was drifting which caused axle breakage.

I had been calling around to find out what a Transmission service would cost for my 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 with only 51K miles on her - the prices I was getting from a local dealership and a few other auto repair shops were about double to what it said it should cost per another google search. Tony was spot on. I had called him up and he gave me a quote over the phone, said he could do it the next morning, so away I went - he said it'd take a few hours and that was about right when I got the call 2.5 hours later that the truck was done. He replaced the fluids in the tranny along with the filter, checked the bands, did an engine oil change gratis with the filter and oil I supplied. He is a man of his word, a good communicator and an absolute pleasure to do business with. So in my departing he relayed his findings and observations, and had a list of a few recommendations of things that should be addressed in the future that they found while working on the truck to keep it in top shape, he was wonderful in the way that he explained everything in detail making it easy to understand. It's a small shop - albeit he specializes in transmission's he does it all. Couldn't be happier with the service, definitely recommend them.

I am writing this on behalf of my mother in law. She has been a long time customer here and never…read morequestioned the service. She recently brought her car in for an oil change and they brought up a few other items that she should take care of, one of them being her brakes. The CSR gave her a form that listed she needed pads, rotors, and calipers to the tune of +/- $1,800. Thankfully my son was with his grandma and the suggestion of calipers struck him as odd. I am a mechanic so they had me take a look at the information provided. The Burlington Automotives mechanic that did the inspection on her car did call out her brake pads(and a few other small service items), but did not call out rotors or calipers. I did a brake job on her car and, indeed, it only needed pads with the rotors being perfectly smooth and within spec. The calipers were also in great shape with the dust seals still attached, no cracks or anything like that. We went to talk with Louis, the Store Manager, and he first said that pads and rotors are often changed together and thought it was weird the mechanic didn't call out the rotors. I stated it was because the rotors are fine. I asked about calipers and he went into a story about them potentially seizing if there is wear, again, not called out by the mechanic and the dust seals are in great shape. He then said that the CSR was "new" which is a cop out. If the person is "new", they should have oversight and that still doesn't explain how the mechanic got it right and the CSR got it wrong. When I asked what thier policy is for the hand off of information, he said the CSR should take exactly what the mechanic says BUT rotors and pads go together because It can cause uneven wear, we also dont turn rotors, we just go new. It is a real shame because this sort of things gives all mechanics a bad name. To be clear, the actual mechanic's report was on point and I think he was a fine mechanic. The CSR and Store Manager, though, should be ashamed of themselves At the end of the day, they tried to screw an old lady out of a bunch of money. Louis barely apologized, trying to make every excuse he could to get out of admitting they wronged her. They didn't have her best interest in mind.... do they have yours?
