My car died on the second floor of the downtown Mount Vernon parking garage. Two tow companies immediately said they couldn't do it. Budget Towing came. They couldn't bring their truck up (to big and ceilings to low) so my guy walked up, assessed the situation, called for back up and they pushed the car around the corner and down the parking garage ramp, then down a block to a side street. Now the truck could load and get me to my favorite repair shop, JP Automotive, on the westside. Thank you budget towing for thinking out of the box and not stoping at "it can't be done." Forever my go to! Unfortunately cannot remember the names of the two, really nice, men that helped get this done. But I thank them for their kindness. read more

Had a blow out on my boat trailer after a day of fishing. Called and Luis came within an hour and did an awesome job. He worked his ass off getting my boat and trailer on his truck. A true McGyver! He was polite and worked very hard but was carful the entire time. He got the boat to Les Schwab before they closed and I get a new tire. If you have to call them to tow something and Luis shows up, you're in good hands! read more

Ok, here I'm going to eat a huge helping of crow. I left a horrible review of Budget because one of their drivers left a huge rut in my lawn. Tonight, I broke a u-joint in my street rod doing a burn out at a stoplight. Ok, I know, grow up.... I called Budget Towing. Their driver arrived, did a great job of putting my car on the flatbed, and also a perfect job if placing it inside the door of my garage. Zero damage (super important on a 1937 hot rod) - and I was beyond happy with the entire experience. So yeah, I'll retract everything I said in my negative review. Thanks Budget! read more

Wow. I was merely looking for the most cost effective tow and not only did I get that, I got what has to have been the best service ever. David was so professional and so kind, and he took care of my car like it was his, despite the towing challenges he encountered. He knew tricks to get the completely-dead car to do what he needed and got the job done. The only glitch, and it's only worth a mention, not a loss of a star, is the dispatcher, Mike, wouldn't stop calling me "Sweetie" or "Sweets," even after learning my name. In today's environment, it wasn't appropriate or appreciated. That said, both Mike and David gave great service and in the event I need a tow in the future, Budget will be the one I call. Thanks Guys! read more

Wow, these guys mean business! I had an extremely difficult tow job and was turned town by multiple towing companies to get the job done. The tow truck driver, Travis, communicated his time of arrival perfectly and didn't bat an eye at the situation. Had had my large vehicle unstuck with zero damage in less than 15 minutes. I wouldn't hesitate to use or recommend these guys, even for difficult tows. A+ service! read more

Just wanted to take a second and say thank you. Colby came out and was very fast and professional. He was knowledgable and he got there within minutes. The charge was extremely reasonable. Will definitely use anytime I need this type of service and highly recommend to anyone else. Thanks Guys! You Rock! read more

I had been referred to these folks by someone else who used them, and I was quite pleased with all their service. I explained the problem when dropping off my vehicle, and felt they were very through with the issues, charged a rate that I felt was very acceptable. In addition their service was very prompt, I know there are other customers before me, but their time for the work was very quick. Its nice to conduct business with someone new, who you feel you can trust, and not take advantage of you. Budget Auto Repair is my 'go-to' folks in the future for any auto repair I have. Thanks, I appreciate everything. read more

Awesome place! My car was stuck on the freeway, called and asked if I could have my car towed there. They were very welcoming. They gave me a ride home and had my car fixed and ready to go by the next business day. They even washed my car! Great place. I loved them. Will bring my car anytime in the future. All of this great service and they were even short staffed. read more

This company is amazing to work with! They were so helpful and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to refer them to my friends and family.

I needed a pitman arm installed in my Suburban. Budget was able to get me in the next day and quoted me 1.7 hrs. for the install. They assumed the steering box would not have to be removed. A couple hours later I returned to find that they indeed did have to remove the box to replace the part, but charged me the initially quoted price anyway! The mechanic came out and gave me a detailed run down on my vehicle, informing me that I had a hydraulic issue within my brake system. Fast, friendly and trustworthy. If I were remaining in Washington Budget would be my goto place. read more

BEST TOWING COMPANY EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! Dave was my driver. He arrived in 15 min, had my car loaded flawlessly in 3 (he's super efficient at it, it's fun to watch), his truck on the inside was cleaner than my car, had me to the repair place in 20, and car unloaded flawlessly in 3 min. And he was even a pleasure to talk to during the ride. We had a really great conversation! Do yourself a favor and use Budget Towing and request DAVE! Thanks Dave! read more

My husband broke down on I-5 on the way to a very important appointment up north. I dropped off my car for him to continue on and then tried to find a tow company. I just happened upon this one and luckily, they were very close to where I was stuck. I forgot the driver's name (sorry! it was a stressful situation!) but he was very nice and very professional. Picked up the car, took us both to the yard and then I had my friend come get me. They let me keep the car there until after the weekend when I could gather the money needed to have it delivered to my house farther south -- without charging me for allowing it to stay in their yard. This is the BEST tow company I have ever dealt with and would recommend them to anyone. read more

Andy was amazing, professional, so nice and helpful! Such a great guy and from the looks of the reviews that is the consensus with him and his company...I only wish that more towing companies were like this! Andy went above and beyond what others would do and that is what makes him stand out in a crowd! I will use them again if needed and also spread the word as I was blown away today...making the fact that my car broke down not a bad experience...Thank you Andy! read more

these guys were very helpful when I was in a bad situation - broken down on the side of the freeway with my two children and away from home. They were really nice too! read more

These guys are awesome!! Always a wonderful friendly face to greet you. Work has always been diagnosed correctly. We have been going to budget towing for quite a few years. We have never had a problem with anything. Went in the other day because my tail light was out they replaced it in five minutes. They always call you in a timely manner to let you know what is happening with your vehicle. Prices are not too bad. They only do the work that needs to be done. Thanks budget towing!! read more

Embarassingly enough, I put gas in my diesel truck at 6:00 am on a Monday morning. I proceeded to google and call everyone under the sun in semi-panic mode. Budget came recommended from a neighboring business, and I was treated with respect, kindness, and professionalism throughout the entire ordeal. Travis came to tow my truck very promptly; he was very personable and I quickly regained my sanity. Not only was he prompt, but he kindly dropped me off at work on the way to the shop. Dave with the auto repair side was fantastic as well. They managed to fit me in on a very busy Monday, and literally saved my day. They were even going to wash my truck, but I arrived before they had the chance. I don't live in MV, but I am close enough that I would return without hesitation. Great business, deserves every bit of 5 stars for going above and beyond for their customers. read more

These guys aretruly great. Wish it hadn't cost me $250 but that was a lot less than I was expecting. They were very proffesional and easy to talk to. I took my car in to have it checked as I was told by someone at a Jiffy Lube the head gasket was bad. Carl at Budget was very helpful and very nice. Thank goodness it ended up not being the head gasket, but they did change my oil for me. I felt they charged me a fair price, especially when I got out to my car and it had been washed, waxed, and vacuumed! They even did like a Rain-X treatment or something on my windshield! They also gave me a couple of estimates for things they could see would be coming up soon in the future- serpentine belt after almost 100,000 miles, etc. I'm very glad for this and thank them for their consideration. I have to commute to Everett every day from Mount Vernon, the last thing I'd need is to be stuck on the side of the 5. I will take my car to no one else from now on, lesson learned. Thanks guys you rock! read more

After the work was done I did some research: They marked up the part they bought 120-150%. Many mechanic websites suggest a markup should be 25-50%. I do not trust them and will not be back. When I talked to them about it, they simply said, "We are here to make money," and refused to apologize. read more

Forgot the name of the man who came to help me but he was so helpful! On my way home I got a nail on my tire called roadside assistance and they sent me these guys. My tire was not flat or leaking so he filled up my tire and followed me all the way to the tire shop. With 2 little ones I didn't want to be stranded and he completely understood. read more

A shout out to Budget towing! When my son's car broke down on the freeway, they went and picked up the car and him quickly. I live in Mt. Vernon and am a business owner, Highland Garden House. We have only one towing company and one auto repair listing in our address books: Budget. You will see why this is so if you ever do business with Budget. They are fast, courteous, reasonable priced and best of all, they stand 100% behind everything they do. Our guests appreciate our recommendation when they are in the need of towing or auto repair. read more

Had a car towed there after accident. They denied access to it and told me I couldn't take things off the vehicle. Even though it's my property. After that they sent a registered letter saying they were auctioning off my vehicle. The insurance isn't even done processing information. They are completely unprofessional and I will never be doing business with them ever again. I will never recommend them for any services at all. read more

Great, absolutely great service. Professional, courteous and calming. An awful experience made much better by Budget.

I'm new to the Washington area (moved from California) and I needed to take my car in for a long over-due tune up, oil change and to have a strange noise checked. Strange noises make me nervous - they always sound expensive. The team at Budget Towing were great. They communicated with me, over the phone, during the day to let me know the status of my car. Turns out it was an easy fix and my car runs great. They even washed my car, once they were done with the tune up! Great job! Thank you, all! read more

These guys are truly my knights in shining armor. Bubba has saved me more than once. Today, for example, I called needing their help and I had someone from their business to help me within 15 mins! WOW!! If I had called my road side assistance, I would have waited 2 hours! They are soooo kind, caring and truly the way a home town business should be. I'm so very happy that I have a business like theirs that I can rely on and that are honest and more than fair with their pricing. I trust them due to their wonderful services that they've provided to me and I've never felt taken advantage of.....As a women, this is so very important to me. Happy New Year!! read more

Took my Range Rover in knowing it needed a new Alternator and had an engine code showing for the Thermostat. I only wanted the alternator addressed. Received a call later saying it would be over $900 for a new Alternator and Serpentine belt. I almost fainted. When I asked why the quote was so high the man said "well it is a Range Rover" ... That's a fail in my book. I'm pretty sure they quoted me for the wrong part as there are two options available. This wouldn't be an issue except they had possession of my vehicle at the time and could have easily verified that it had the lesser expensive of the two parts. I have no idea what their hourly rate is but I was told the labor alone was over $300. I know that book labor for my particular problem is on 1.5 hours so I have no idea why the labor charge was so high unless their rate is $200 per hour. When I picked up my vehicle I was charged $52 for telling me what I already knew when I pulled in. I won't go back an I will steer anyone I can away from this business. read more
