My surgeon called in a couple pain medications for my back surgery. They were called in around 3PM on Aug 26, later in the day, I was notified the prescriptions could NOT be filled due to their "robot" being out of order. I asked, can you do it the old fashioned way...that is take pills out of a large bottle, place in small bottle, place prescription info on little bottle and give to customer. Their answer is NO... So when their POS robot breaks, they are not intelligent enough to figure out how to fill a prescription. WOW....it would be a laughing matter; however, I spent a sleepless night, and the next AM, find it is still in process. I will be transferring all my prescriptions to Walgreens; however, one prescription Fry's has cannot be transferred until it is filled and when will that happen? Who the F knows. I asked Walgreens, and yes, they use a robot; however, if the robot breaks down, their pharmacist and helpers are intelligent enough to fill a prescription the old fashioned way. Imagine that! Therefore, my suggestion is move on to any place other than Frys. Incompetent, unintelligent, and they do not care for their customers. read more

My son needed some fresh vaccines to start school. I called Fry's, confirmed they vaccinate children and hopped online to make an appointment. Convenient right? Yeah. Except Fry's accepts appointments for vaccines they can't even legally administer. Of course, you won't know that until 30 min before your appointment when they call to tell you. And then you get to scramble to find an alternative so that your kid can start school. It's really ridiculous. Also, as an FYI for parents: if your kid is under 15 the pharmacy cannot administer the Meningococcal or first HPV vaccine. It took me 30 seconds to type that. I bet it would take about that long to put a note on the website stating the same. Add in time to test the change and deploy to production and we are talking about a change that would take less than a business day and would at least help Fry's from accepting appointments they won't fulfill. It's literally ridiculous for a health care provider to accept online appointments for services they have no intention of fulfilling. The pharmacist says the system isn't very smart. I would agree. There's literally no reason for a computer system to allow someone to make an appointment for something the pharmacy has no intention to provide. It's a waste of everyone's time and in 2022, the technology exists to determine if patients can or cannot receive a vaccine. My 11 year old could code those "if" statements. Since Fry's can't do this right, why should I trust them to administer my flu shot or dispense my medication? 1 star. read more

If it were not my sick baby and this store being the 1 of many pharmacies I called that had the drug in stock, I'd NEVER fill anything here. I asked about a transfer of antibiotic to their store and the woman who picked up phone told me of a turn around time of 3 days for a transfer. I've worked as a pharmacy tech for years and it does NOT take 3 days for a transfer! When I inquired her f**king sass came out! "Most pharmacists don't pick up their phones.." "pharmacies across AZ are short staff, like here we all work almost 60hrs a week" sweetheart, I'm sure your job is tough but learn some professionalism!! Odd how I was able to speak with the pharm at my home store Albertsons on FLW and ViaLinda without a problem if I weren't in an office, I would've gone off on this chick! I had cancer removed by my eye on a Monday morning. I was home by 12:30 and it started hurting at 1:30. My doctor said he called in something for the pain and Frys Pharmacy says there is no prescription. The Dr. insists and after an hour, he calls it in again. Again, Frys says it is not there. The Dr. Says it was confirmed again. I asked the guy i was speaking with if he could ask someone else to try to find it. He did. And someone DID find it. They weren't looking in the right place. It is now 4:00. The Frys pharmacist, Nicki, tells me she can fill it in an hour. I asked her if she could sooner, and she explained that bc it is a "controlled substance" (you know the guilt they try to put on you!) the process takes an hour. I didn't believe her & called a different Frys. That pharmacist told me if the Dr. calls it in to her she would have it ready in less than 30 minutes. So I call the Frys back and told Nicki what the other store said and she YELLED AT ME, OUR STORE IS BUSY!!!! MY STORE IS A BUSY STORE!!! An hour later they text me it's ready. I go, and expecting an apology for both yelling at me, as well as being at fault not being able to find what my Dr. sent, she storms up and tells me that would be the last time I could fill a prescription there. The pharmacy manager, Emily, isn't much better than Nicki. So after years of going there, they are losing a lot of money bc of that self-entitled B called Nicki at the Frys pharmacy at 7770 E. McDowell Rd. Scottsdale, AZ 85257. read more

This pharmacy typically takes over a week for refills. After 5 days I called and spoke to a pharmacist (or tech) who PROMISED me my refills would be ready by the morning. I showed up at 11:00 the following morning and they still were not ready. So I refused to leave the drive-through lane until they got them ready. I cannot tolerate them any more and am transferring my prescriptions to "any place but here". read more

The store itself is fine (now that the rearranging is finally finished), but the checkout process is terrible. At 5 p.m., when people are finishing work and going shopping, there are only 3 aisles open, and they each have AT LEAST 4-5 people waiting. AND THEN ONE AISLE CLOSED! They have people trying to steer customers to the self-checkouts, but with a cart full of groceries, the self-checkout is not a feasible option. Also, I don't work there. I don't WANT to check my own groceries. Please hire more staff. The people who are there are (mostly) fine. There just aren't enough of them. read more

If I could give then zero stars, I would. This pharmacy makes me appreciate Walgreens. Firstly, the staff are all snippy. Secondly, I had a sinus infection last week and my doctor sent in Augmentin. So I wait and wait, as it says in progress on the app. So finally, I call the pharmacy and I'm told, "oh, we're out of it. It's a mfg. issue." So I ask for the generic, which there are 3, made by 3 different pharmaceutical company's and I'm told, "oh we don't have those either." How do you not have an antibiotic, esp. one as wide used as augmentin? The girl then tells me I can pick it up on December 3!!!!! So I go thru the hassle of transferring it to my old pharmacy, Walgreens, in which it was in stock. Then, a week later, I had another script to pick up and I was told, "oh, that's out of stock." Finally today, I went to pick up another script, the girl there tells me the insurance won't pay as it's too soon. I advise her that the last time I picked up 30 of this medication was on sept. 7, so it can't be too soon. Then she says, "well I don't know what to tell you, the insurance won't pay, it's not our fault, it's your insurance."I'm sorry, you don't know what to tell me? Who says that to a customer? So I tell her, I'll just pay cash. Then she tells me to wait. By this time, I've been sitting at the drive they window for over 15 minutes, getting nowhere. After about five more minutes, the tech comes back to the window and says, "it's $18.00 cash, but oh, we don't have it in stock." Com on!!! Then, there was another customer that pulled up behind me that was blaring their radio music. So I'm trying to hear myself think and I'm speaking loudly above the music, and I said to her "what is going on with this pharmacy? This is unacceptable." Then she tells me to stop screaming at her. I'm like I'm not screaming at you, I can't hear myself speak. Then she says, "well you can just hang on back to Walgreens. I'm like you seriously are telling me to go back to your competitor? I said, "that's just dumb." From there, she's screaming at me, with the manager standing right next to her doing absolutely nothing. People, for your own sanity abd peace of mind, stay away from Kroger pharmacy. They are nasty, rude, snippy, and lazy. I'm 65 years old and an employee who couldn't even been 18, is telling me to go to their competitor. read more

It is 6:30, and I came to the door as I am Disabled person at 55 years of age that had to use the bathroom as an emergency. Carol I think it was at the front door said I could not. So because of her I had a major problem, because she could not think outside the box. I had to be 60 to go to the bathroom. Thanks Carol I sincerely pray this happens to you. Frys Pharmacy not one bit customer service oriented. They refused to send refill request to new Dr. No customer service

This store was modeled after Fred Meyer in the Nothwest. Fred Meyer is much larger has more/better clothes brands, shoes, electronics. This store lacks home furniture and many departments that Fred Meyer has. But it's good to see Kroger is trying to copy the Fred Meyer concept. There is even a Fred Meyer Jewelers at the store. It's nice. The employees are good. But it's basically a watered down version of Fred Meyer. The facilities and covered parking is nice. They should just call it what it really is - Fred Meyer. Fry's stores are generally gross, and I prefer calling this location "Freddy's." read more

This Fry's is part of my childhood. Been going there waaayyyyy before they had their big remodel. I used to live in that area and go there almost everyday. My dad is now a regular there and most employees know him. We're treated very nicely when we go there! read more

So lame. THE premier grocery store in town on Tatum and Shea and they don't have the technology to take digital coupons. I had a $1 dollar off coupon for Beyond Meat and they wouldn't accept it unless it was on paper! WHOA Aren't we trying to be green and environmental and not waste paper??? Are we behind the times or what? Nor would they accommodate me and do it manually. I know they can do it because it's been done before. Shameful! What a waste of my time! This is a very large Fry's with valet parking, covered parking, Starbucks, and a small library inside. I was pleased to see the cheeses separated by country and they have many deli stations. They have a much larger selection of gourmet products and wine if you are looking for them. The customer service was excellent. read more

I have been using this pharmacy for several months after several unfortunate mishaps at Walgreens. It has been a 5-star experience. The pharmacist and techs are friendly and knowledgeable. The lines are either non-existent or way, way shorter than Walgreens. And so far, every prescription has been ordered correctly and waiting for my arrival within a day or two. I am very happy with our switch to Fry's pharmacy! read more
