First off the communication with the cashier was not good. Anyway, I was able to get past the communication barrier in order a two piece fish two piece shrimp meal with two sides with one side being the hush puppies and the other is fries. The fish seemed like it was seasoned pretty good. I was only able to taste a piece of it and also the shrimp and of course I did taste the fries. They were OK, but not as good as five guys when the cashier offered condiments. I noticed that he only gave one half of a container of tartar sauce . That's not good because how come I'm getting a full container of hot sauce, but not a full container of tartar sauce, make it make sense. They did give me some plasticware which I'm not using with this meal. Last but not least I tried the strawberry banana pudding. It was a 3 out of five. It's pudding I mean, what can you expect.

The day I visited, they were playing zydeco and Louisiana/southern style music pretty loudly from the speakers, so if you don't like that sort of thing, with them trying to get you in the mood to eat catfish, this may not be your type of place. Their fountain machine was broken during my visit, so a bottled soda was the only option at the time. Although they have tables inside, half were out of service and not available for use. Luckily, most customers seem to order take out anyway. After looking at the small menu, I decided on the regular fish basket with a soda in the cooler. This meal came out to around $15 after tax. Fish basket - served in a to-go box. Upon opening, the fish looked pretty thin and pathetic, but after eating the filets they were fairly juicy and well-seasoned. The hush puppies are standard. The red beans and rice is actually pretty good! Their tartar sauce has been adjusted and has an orangish color with orange speckles. Overall, this quick service restaurant was alright for me but they are definitely trying to make it a to-go kind of place and for me, I am looking for a nice sit down place to relax during my lunch break without all the loud music, hustle and bustle. Plus, I rarely eat catfish, so I don't see myself returning anytime soon.

I don't usually leave reviews like this, but my experience at 7Spice Cajun Seafood on FM 1960 in…read moreHumble was honestly concerning. The cleanliness of the restaurant was unacceptable. Every table we saw had a sticky film on it, like it hadn't been properly wiped down--just smeared with leftover sauces and grease. It felt unsanitary to even sit down. The gloves provided for eating seafood had a noticeable moldy smell, which immediately made me question how supplies are being stored. The drink fountain was just as bad. It had a strong odor of fermented sugar, like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. That alone was enough to make me avoid getting a drink altogether. Customer service didn't make things any better. I'd rate it a 4/10 at best. When I asked about specials and pricing, the cashier responded with an attitude, as if I should have already known the menu. I politely asked for a small cup of mayo, and he refused, saying he didn't want to go to the back to get it. However, shortly after, he had family come in, didn't charge them for food, and went to the back to grab items for them without hesitation. Between the lack of cleanliness and poor customer service, this was not a good experience. I would strongly recommend management take a serious look at hygiene standards and staff professionalism. Crawfish had a tart taste like it was microwaved or old. Wouldn't recommend this location I've went to 7Spice in different locations and this has never occurred to me before.

I came with some friends for dinner on a Saturday and this place was packed. It's tucked away in the middle of a shopping strip and the parking lot isn't that big. That being said, parking sucks. What they do offer that I haven't ever seen at a Chinese buffet is valet parking. I made a quick drive around the parking lot and decided to valet to save time. The young gentleman parking cars solo did a great job and works on tips. You pay what you want. They have a pretty large waiting area which we luckily didn't have to utilize. We got seated right away, but soon after, the waiting area filled up. The space inside is huge with lots of seating. They have neon lights and TVs everywhere which is a step up from your regular buffets. In the center is the buffet area with different stations and is very organized and clean. Customer service was good. Our plates never stacked up at the table and our drinks never went empty. The big draw here is the seafood portion of the buffet. I love crab legs but I don't like the work involved to eat it. Unlike other buffets where people pounce the minute the staff put it out, here they keep it well stocked and no ones fighting to get their share. I prefer my crab legs steamed and warm, but here they are served cold. I turned my focus to the huge seafood selection and sushi. They have shrimp and fish in all kinds of different preparations and I gotta say, everything tasted great. They also have a hot pot and hibachi section along with your regular Chinese food buffet offerings. I don't know if it's because I don't frequent Chinese buffets often, but here, I liked everything I tried and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. They also have a nice dessert station and even have slushie station for the kiddos. The best part of it all is the price tag is just a little over 20 bucks. You definitely get your money's worth here. I think there is something for everyone here. It's a shame it's so far from where I live. Buffetopia is definitely the best Chinese buffet in Houston.

We weren't even seated yet and she was already asking what we wanted to drink. I'm thinking uhm can we at least sit down first?? She seemed very impatient. My mom sat down first and pointed out that the table was dirty. She responded back by telling her "it's part of the table ma'am". My mom then pulled out a napkin and wiped it to show her that no...the table was actually dirty. We asked to move to a different table and she grabbed our silverware and flung it on the next table over and again asked for drink orders. We all were very confused at the attitude bc what is wrong with asking to sit at a diff table bc the other one is dirty?? If I was by myself, I honestly would've just left and went somewhere else to eat, but bc I was with family, I didn't want to make it a big deal. As for the food, they did have a lot of options. Everything was flavored nicely, but not everything was hot. I also wasn't a fan of the prepackaged ice cream cups so we went elsewhere for dessert. Some of the bathroom stalls were dirty too. Overall our experience here just okay. The poor customer service alone was enough to make me not want to come back.
