Came to check out the Kirby Icehouse in the Woodlands and this place was out front so of course my love for spice had me running over. I got the stripper chicks with fries at the hawt damn spice level. I asked for no sauce but unfortunately my strips came with it over the top. I'd waited a while and didn't feel like waiting again so I did my best to scrape it off with some fries. The chicken was super juicy and for strips it was closer to the size of chicken breasts. While the chicken was delicious the batter on the outside just kinda fell off. The spice was delicious, not over oily which was good and something I look for in a good hot chicken. read more

Food Zone Grand Texas (New Caney) location only. The food is great! They are not friendly at all, the owner is but that's it., it' seems like it's a nuisance that you came to their spot. They're always out of the Mac bowls... make more (it's macaroni) or make a sign. We stopped her on a whim, and boy am I glad we did. The restaurant is located in a food truck park. We discovered a gem. They have large portions and great customer service. The chicken was seasoned to perfection and made to order. The sauce was delicious. The fries were fresh. My only complaint is I prefer the chicken thigh, but they had run out. I guess I'm not the only one that likes the thigh; so get there early if you want thighs. I must say even though I prefer the thigh, the breast was tender and juicy. Been here 4 times. The third coast sliders hit all the time. Plus you can miss and match spiciness levels. Unfortunately, I noticed the last time I went that they decreased the size of the chicken. I'm not sure if that's their fault or a supplier issue but I'd appreciate the decrease in size into account and maybe lower the price. I know their original sandwich is sold out because of shortages (not their fault) on chicken so maybe that's the reason for the size decrease. I'd appreciate it if they made some type of change.
