I would say a little pricey also noticed tip got included.. we got 4carne tacos two large meat quesadillas and chips with gauc, wish they had a good salsa with chips though i will add, one meal came with a beverage they have coke products available in the fountain self serve. Cost almost 80$. This was our first visit, easy to locate right off country club on the corner, walk in there is plenty of inside seating, also arcade room available restrooms and a lounge area near the full size bar. I was surprised when I came in didn't realize they'd have a full bar and be how it was I guess I was expecting a little taco shack. But loved how they had it set up full desert menu and combos as well single items to choose from. Over all the service was friendly we got our food on time everything was good, prob swing by again and try some other options the drinks look super fun and colorful with fruits and looks like they put effort into each beverage.

I got a three scoop of ice cream: Malted Crunch, Bubble Gum and Cotton Candy, all Thrifty brand. The Malted Crunch was pretty good, the bubble gum seemed to have quite a few ice chunks in it, but the Cotton Candy ice cream had a great texture and the colors of it were super fun too. The churros were fresh made and delicious. I will probably have to get two next time. I had never walked in the place before today but everyone was super friendly. I didn't realize they serve alcohol here too. And all the food they were serving looked good too. Cute little bar area with TVs to watch sports, a good amount of seating, and some tables on their patio facing Country Club. It was all cute. I'd come back and check out some of the food next time.

I've gone to Frutilandia so many times, and my go to order has always been their Takis locos. However, the past two times I have placed this order, in person, they have messed up my order. Giving me TOSTI locos and a Takis ELOTE. I would honestly place an online order for pick up considering I take it home most of the time but then on their app you can't request them to replace the Tosti,s with Takis. I have gone during non peak hours so the only conclusion I can go to is that the cashiers just don't take the energy to really listen and input your order correctly.

Tried this place out later in the evening after a disappointing sushi dinner. The boys wanted ice cream. This place had good reviews and looked to have lots of options to choose from. I wish we would have came here for dinner! It was an ice cream shop, taqueria, and bar all in one!!! My youngest had the cookies & cream shake. He said it was good, but had too many chunks of cookies. My oldest had the churro shake, he said it was great. I had the mangonada. It was one of the best I've tried as it was not overly sweet. It had just enough sweetness, just enough chamoy, and lots of mango chunks, although not filled to the top like depicted in their photos. We weren't hungry, so we didn't try the food, and I was driving, so didn't try the cocktails, but I wanted too! They even have a private event room! The place was lively and crowded. If we were in town another night, I would come back. The next time we're in town, I will be coming back.

When I moved to this area a few months back, this was one of the first places I discovered. This Fruitlandia location in Mesa is quite spacious and located right on the corner of Country Club & University. Fruitlandia is known for their Mexican desserts. Popular items are their fresh fruit combos like fresas con crema, milkshakes, ice cream, shaved ice, and fruit drinks. The drinks are so colorful and full of all types of fresh fruit. I ordered the Dulce Churro for my first drink. They also have popular street food items like sonoran dogs, nachos and carne asada fries. Fruitlandia has become one of my favorite spots for a late night treat.

YUMMY DESSERT I wish they had smaller sizes! The smallest sized piña colada was huge, and a bit pricy. I could have been fine with way less! Either way, it was delicious with fresh flavors and great ice cream. They have a very large menu with many options, I'd definitely return!

If you have a sweet tooth and can never say no to ice cream, there's no doubt this place won't satisfy that sweet tooth. They have an ice cream bar and an array of Mexican desserts. I had ice cream which was gooey, sweet, and refreshing on a hot day. They have about 16 different flavors to choose from. They do allow samples which is helpful because some places don't. They have conservative flavors, but if you're wanting to mix it up they have some bizarre flavors as well. Next time I return, I'll order a shave ice. It all looked delicious and I didn't try it last time because I couldn't decide which one I wanted. I didn't do my research ahead of time. Enjoy!

We were so looking forward to a nice cool ice cream and fruit treat on a 115 degree day. But as we stood in line waiting our turn to order we noticed that at least 3 of the employees who were preparing the food were not wearing their masks properly. Yes, they had masks on, but given that this was on the weekend when the number of Covid cases was hiring all time highs in Arizona (6/13) , they had them below their noses. And one would pull hers all of the way down while standing over the prepared treats in order to yell out names. When we brought it to the attention of the employee she said that if they wear it all of the time they run out of oxygen. So we talked next to the manager (who was working the cash register and had her mask on correctly) who glanced over at the workers and said they were wearing them properly. We decided that we were not comfortable ordering food and left. But we didn't give up. We went to the other location on Gilbert and saw that it's closed for renovations. We called just in case they would do a take out orders and the man who answered the phone explained that the masks are optional. For us eating at Frutilandia is optional as well and we opted out. DQ here we come.

Food is not all that . It's not good make sure you pay attention to the prices and if you want a small say it!! otherwise they'll scam you and charge you a large. Paid $50 for 2 tostilocos and a raspado. Never once did they ask me small or large they just charged me. It's ridiculous stay away from here save your money and go somewhere else. Five stars! Me and my friends were standing far away the counter, looking what we're gonna get. Then the owner is so nice and kind, came up asked us is it the first time here. I wasn't that hungry so I wasn't planning to order, but the fruit drinks look so good. The owner introduced most food to us, it aroused my interest to the sinful fruit salad. I was concerned about if it's too sweet, what surprised me is the owner ask the staff to make me a sample! It's just right, not too sweet not plain. I went today during a busy time (lunch) and had a Horchata which was really delicious as well as a shrimp ceviche tostada and Elote in a cup. While the shrimp ceviche tostada was fantastic, the Elote cup was not good at all. The corn was bitter and was ridiculously overcooked. For five dollars a cup I expected it to be much better, especially with being during a busy time. I am only giving at four stars because of this. However, their treats are super delicious and as I said the ceviche and the Horchata were great. read more

They offer curbside pickup on the website but it's not true they force you to go inside where there is a lot of people they don't really seem to care about social distancing we got our order at 846 when we ordered at 807 and we only got one thing we waited in the patio like they suggested and nobody ever came out when we called again they rudely told us we have to go in to pick up because they already went outside but nobody came out at anytime we like to support local businesses but please do better to protect the employees and customers Update -Management did reach out to apologize thank you but we did not order at the Gilbert location read more

the service was great how ever me and my family literally got food poisoning we ordered two meals of chicken tenders and cueritos and ice cream came out to $57 as soon as we got home my baby of 4 started throwing up then four hours later me and my family all started having symptoms! nausea , diarrhea, fever ,body aches! we lasted being sick for three days to eating this !! idk if the food they gave us was expired but for me and 5 others to also get sick ? this was literally our last meal and we all got sick! NEVER again will we buy anything from this location Or any frutalandia that was such a scary moment not being able to eat for three days and throwing up nonstop!!!! read more

My daughter loves their unique desserts that have fruits and amazing flavors in them. So many different ice creams, more than Coldstone. If I didn't quit sweets before I found this place then I might have gotten diabetes here real fast. My girl and daughter both love coming here. My daughter's favorite is the strawberry cheesecake. It's cool to see a Mexican ice cream spot that offers an alternative dessert. read more

I've been to Frutilandia a handful of times now since a coworker told me about it! I've never been to a place before that has food products that look exactly like the advertisement, but this place does. I was absolutely amazed when I first saw them. The Diablito is by far my favorite of the shaved ice drinks, but everything I've tried is delicious! The Sonoran hot dog and nachos are also great! Good flavors, filling food, and super nice service. Me & my boyfriend go here probably three times a week, we really love the sinful fruit salad. It's right down the street from my work so after a long 12 hour shift, I look forward to coming here. if I could give the store on Alma & baseline less than one star I would. we stopped for a mangoneada & a elote. It took them 20 min to get our order. The elote was a watery soup, half of the cup of was lukewarm corn, no hot sauce, lime, butter, etc. The guy on the street on a golf cart makes his bigger, hotter & spicier. A helluva lot cheaper too & better service. AVOID THIS TRAP, it sucks!!! BTW... ur employees need to stay off their cell phones and service customers read more

I enjoyed the atmosphere in this lovely place. I did get my things to go cause I was in a rush somewhere but I would have definitely hung out with the crowd. Here you can enjoy boba tea drinks, taiyaki (fish waffle cones) with soft serve, snow (shaved ice) bowls and very nice loose leaf iced teas. So far I've only had the loose leaf iced teas and they use Reishi teas which are good quality teas. These iced teas are not flavored with sugary syrup or fruit, it's simply infused tea bags that are brewed over ice. It's so refreshing in the summer! I've been missing out on the more fun items for sure, next visit I'll try one of their dessert type options, probably the taiyaki & ice cream! For now, I've enjoyed all the iced teas I've tried.

Spending over $50 for three bowls and drinks felt expensive. Add in the loud music and an employee who acted like I was inconveniencing her when I asked for a different sauce, and it took away from the experience. For me personally, the food earns high marks, but as a family restaurant, it didn't quite hit the mark. I'd come back solo if I was craving Mediterranean, but probably not with the whole family.

Food (5/5): If you've never has a chimney cake, you're in for a treat. They're made to order and customizable. More so than anywhere I've ever seen. You choose your base, toppings, additions, and drizzles. I went with the traditional chimney cake with Biscoff cookies, vanilla ice cream, and Nutella drizzle. Outside of the dessert options, which are the way to go for first timers, if you're feeling adventurous, they also have one or two savory options. The chimney cakes are served warm and absolutely delicious. They're filling too so come with an appetite. It's one of those things everyone should try at least once in their lifetime. So cool to have them in Mesa!

My son and I stopped in here to see what they had as the pictures in their windows looked really delicious and we were not disappointed. Lots of choices, Thrifty brand ice cream, tamarindo, mango, strawberries, crema, aqua fresco, dulche and more. We tried the Sonoran Hot Dogs and scoops of ice cream, he had the blueberry cheesecake and the strawberry cheesecake and I has the circus animal and all were so good but the blueberry cheesecake was my favorite!
