I really wanted to try this place.. so much so that I battled Saturday traffic and trying to find street parking. I would say, the açaí is a bit pricey for the what you get, but I get it, since I'm in La Jolla. I ordered the peanut butter açaí and while the bowl was big, it was only filled halfway. Also, the gentleman who took my order could have offered a smile and a "hi." That would have come a long way. I enjoyed the space and after the long day of adventuring the açaí bowl did hit the spot, hence the good rating. Casual. Parking is via street. Please come and create your own adventure.

Fruittitude is a really cute spot in La Jolla that has boba tea, boba slushies, juices, smoothies, coffees, açaí bowls, and other food options. My husband and I stopped here because I was craving boba and it did not disappoint! I asked what their favorite flavor was and they immediately said mango so I was going to get the jasmine green tea with mango and boba. The worker then told me I could get up to three flavors which really excited me! So I got mango, pineapple, and strawberry. It was delicious, tasted fresh and refreshing, and I absolutely enjoyed it all. My husband and got mango and peach jasmine green tea with boba. He really enjoyed his as well! There was seating inside and outside but we opted for outside. They have so many different drink options that anyone going should be able to find something they would like. I would definitely recommend stopping here if you are in La Jolla and want some great boba tea!

Got one of their bowls - I was excited because as you can see it looks so good/ colorful! But, only the top had chicken etc - about 2/3 of it was filled with rice and lettuce. For $16 I don't think I'd get it again. And, unfortunately it made my stomach upset shortly after eating. :/ Maybe stick to their smoothies/juices or açaí bowls when visiting here.

When I don't have my acai bowls or smoothies, I really get a Fruititude! I loved this spot in La Jolla, and our acai bowl was carefully curated and fresh. I wish I had the opportunity to relax and enjoy the cafe's ambiance during our trip, but I had to order to go! I only briefly explored the menu, but they offer smoothies, boba, coffee, and food options. We knew what we wanted: the Classic Acai Bowl! It consisted of freshly made acai, strawberry, banana, and hemp granola. It was aesthetically laid out well in the bowl and tasted very fresh. If I were in the area, I would return and try more menu items. Also, this is a perfect spot for a date or to catch up with friends, as there is plenty of seating inside and outside. I noticed a lot of people hanging around the cafe.

We were walking around Downtown La Jolla when I was craving something cold to drink. We saw a number of people walking around with yummy looking drinks, so I asked someone where they got it and they pointed us in the direction to Fruittitude. Here is what we ordered: Thai Tea: This was so good! I was hesitant to get it because it seemed like a nontraditional asian drink place. However, I was so pleasantly surprised. You can tell a good thai tea is coming just from the color. I asked for light ice, and they told me they actually don't serve this drink with ice. I love my drinks cold without ice if possible, so this was best case scenario for me. This was perfectly milky and sweet for my taste. I would for sure come back for this one! Mango Smoothie: This was the more sour tasting mango. I think it was more Kent mango flavor instead of the smaller yellow ones. It was a bit more tart than I usually like, but overall ok. The employees were nice and helped us through the menu. The only real complain I have is that there was no boba when we got there. I would have given this place 5 stars if they would have had boba for my order. If I am in the area, I will make sure to stop by again!

Visited San Diego last month and all of a sudden I started craving a smoothie, we googled smoothie place near us and this popped up. Long story short smoothie was great, service was TRASH. No acknowledgement when we walked in. My friend asked for suggestions and the girl at the register basically ignored her. I wanted to leave, friend didn't. I definitely won't go back, too many options in SD.

Absolutely love the galaxy lemonade with the boba! Must get very refreshing! The vibes are great and nice to sit down and chat with friends. Service is great and reasonable. Really cute shop! This place has some thing for everyone. I particularly like the Hawaiian Punch smoothie and will drive 20 mins just for it. No other smoothie I've had at other juice places come close to how good this drink is. My son loves the Raspberry macaroons. If you want a drink less thick than a smoothies but still fruity, try the watermelon slush add strawberries.

This grilled cheese is no regular grilled cheese. They use like at least two different types of cheese. And thus the inside is multiple colors, making it more fun than your ol average grilled cheese. Furthermore, they didn't use some old blim balm regular white bread. They used SOURDOUGH. Yet another layer of creativity. I am left in awe. read more

I stopped in for a Mocha latte with coconut milk and a Coconut Acai bowl. I can honestly say that both are delicious. I recommend it especially if you like nutritious, and organic food and drinks. I sat outside on the patio but you can sit inside too if you wish. I would like to add that the gentleman at the register and the lady who makes the food/drinks are very polite as well as kind. read more

We ordered the coconut acai bowl with no bananas. The acai mixture was pretty good, but there wasn't very much of it compared to everything else. They did put plenty of granola which was super crunchy and good. They also did not skimp on the fruit which is always a plus. I would have liked to have more coconut than just a light sprinkle on top, but all in all, it was pretty good! read more

First yelp review, kinda nervous. Pretty good. Mmmm I've never had turkey bacon before, it's goooood. Very hearty meal. There so much everything falls out of the sandwich. Sometimes has intense music in the store but can definitely be a good thing!!! First time at this place and it's a cute store. Another gem for those with New Year's goals err.,ahem diets... Fresh made juices, bowls, and other organic fare with what can be created with the season, fruittitude is a healthy one stop shop. Ironically, I'm usually here for coffee, and well it's because they make a hidden star. The Vietnamese coffee ice blend is a cold coffee drinker's dream. Ice cold, and strong, when you don't have time to sip a hot cup, you want an option that is both. They also always have infused water for free in the waiting area, which is a nice touch if your thirsty while waiting for your drink. read more

Update: I visit almost one breakfast each week. Always satisfying. Friendly staff all attending school. Convenient shake and acai shop in La Jolla. I usually visit once a week after an Orange Theory workout. I love the Peanut Butter Acai Bowl and Taro Smoothie. I always order the same thing and am never disappointed, except one time they forgot the PB and I had run out at home. I was devastated and nearly took my own life. Lucky for me, the Taro Smoothie brought me out of the deep depressive psychosis and I am an upstanding citizen. I even care about other people. Get the PB Acai Bowl and Taro Smoothie if you want to live. read more

This place opened 6 weeks ago and is a cute and small shop specializing in juices and smoothies. They have loose leaf teas on display so you can smell them too! The peach one smelled really good. They also have tiny desserts that are Italian made. The lady working there is really nice and friendly. We had the "make your own smoothie" and added a bunch of fruits. It was yummy. We also tried the chicken wrap and it had Asian flavorings. For dessert, we tried a trio of the cappuccino, raspberry mousse, and gluten free panna cotta. The panna cotta was surprisingly the best! If you check-in after 5pm, the mini desserts are buy 2 get one free. We saw her cutting up some mangoes, so we decided to get another smoothie! I was very pleasantly surprised with Fruititude. It has a great casual ambiance. It's a bright airy bright cafe in a walkable part of La Jolla. I went here on a Saturday afternoon during a somewhat busy hour. The service was friendly and the bathroom was clean. What I liked most about this place was its menu. It has lots of great healthy options. I ordered a curry bowl and peanut butter acci bowl (which was blue berries, yogurt, peanut butter, granola). The menu has lots of fresh options. Too often places like this seem like they would have healthy options but when you read through the menu its overly processed juice made off site. I really liked Fruititude and if I'm every in La Jolla again, I'll make sure to visit. read more

Came here and they ran out of Boba. Great start. I ordered an watermelon Boba slush with coconut milk sans Boba, and an Assam black tea with coconut milk again, because as it turns out they ran out of organic milk as well. They both came out and I swear I could've made this myself. When they brought the Assam milk tea all they did was mix watery tea with carton coconut milk. The slush was just watermelon with the same carton coconut milk. Overall, this place is not tasty, not worth it, and I will never be coming here again. read more

This time, I decided to visit their UCSD location, which is right in the middle of University of California San Diego's campus. They open around 10 AM on Saturdays (and typically around 8 AM on weekdays), and even right at opening there were already a lot of people waiting. My friend and I were still able to get in and out pretty quickly around 10. I ended up getting their mango passion base along with açaí. For toppings, I loaded it up strawberries, bananas, apples, blackberries, blueberries they truly have so many options. I also love their variety of nuts, seeds, and different types of nut butters. They really don't skimp on choices. Overall, I would highly recommend stopping by. I was SO full after, and honestly, you could even split a bowl with a friend because they pack it generously. It's about $12 for a normal medium-sized bowl, which I think is worth it for the portion and quality. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated. The ambiance is nice it's more of a grab-your-bowl and then sit outside type of vibe, but there is indoor seating as well. Definitely one of my favorite açaí spots, and this location did not disappoint.

If you order ahead you still have to go to the register to pay, which makes it a less convenient option than other campus options that do allow pick-up. There is no seating inside, but there are close tables and chairs that are outside. Note: This is on the UCSD campus, so it's not very convenient to go to unless you are already on the campus as you have to pay for parking.

However, the price was on the expensive side. They use real ingredients and make it fresh everyday which is great to hear. The cookies looked delicious in the case, the price however was not justified. The cookie is thin and the $6 price was just insane. I tried the chocolate chip one which had great dark chocolate notes. And I had the oat lace covered in chocolate with maple cream sandwiched inside. That one I was excited for but it was really disappointing. It tasted borderline burnt & the maple interior was very oily. I've had better chocolate lace cookies from Trader Joe's. Overall, I'd recommend the gelato & sorbets if you want to splurge on a dessert! They also had affogatos if that's your thing.

The poppy bagel, while incredibly messy, was uh-mazing with the scallion cream cheese. Definitely save said tub of cream cheese for later. I ate it outside at the tables, grabbing a paper plate and utensils from the front counter. The bagels were quite dense and chewy though the outer layer not as crusty until it cooled. This did make it a little annoying to cut the bagel in half to schmear the inside. My strategy to eat another bagel the next day and freeze the others after they cooled proved to be the best. I just defrosted the next bagel in the fridge the night before. This prevented them from getting rock hard, a constant complaint, as I've been told. While the amount of carbs every day would cause many to pause in this toxic carb-fearing world, to me carbs are fuel. Never ever fear the carbs and eat your bagel enamored heart out!

I popped in here while having my phone fixed the next block over on Herschel. The staff were uber friendly, and very attentive.. I had the green smoothie which was very smooth and delicious. I actually drank it all before I though to snap a pic to upload for all you other yelp'ers. Also had an almond cookie to give some added crunch to my meal. I felt the smoothie was a bit over priced but hey, it is La Jolla. The shop had a good vibe as I sat on the patio and people watched. They are dog friendly, which is cool. I will have to bring my dog with me next time. Also though the flavored water was pretty darn good as well. My favorite smoothie, juice, and boba place near me! I come here about 5-6 times a week. The people are friendly and super fast. They always recommend different smoothies and juices based on what in feeling that day. They also are great at adding in custom ingredients into my drinks that aren't listed.
