The only negative thing I have to say is that there are only five stars I can give this business. I would give it 10 stars if possible. I broke the screen on my iPhone 6 on a weekday evening and happened to be in Carytown the next day. I explained to the technician what had happened, left the phone with them and walked down the street to get lunch. 30 minutes later I came back and it was waiting for me good as new. The employee I dealt with, whose name I do not recall at the moment, was highly professional but also friendly and enjoyable to talk to. The cost was $160, which included replacing the tempered glass screen protector, but for the speed and workmanship it was well worth the cost. I believe the cost varies with the model of phone/tablet. I highly recommend this business to anyone who has an issue with their phone/tablet screen. read more

I brought my iphone to Fruit Fixed today. I had attempted a DIY battery replacement for my 5S over the weekend only to wreak havoc on my screen. I found them on Yelp and had never seen so many glowing reviews, to which I am adding mine. I signed in on Yelp on a Sunday night and received an almost immediate reply from Justin, as well as several follow-up replies. I walked in at 10:15 this morning and walked out less than half an hour later with a new screen and tempered glass screen protector. The price was right (better than Apple, by far, and no "Geniuses" to be seen anywhere!). Richard had me in and out, no muss, no fuss, even while taking care of several other customers. Fruit Fixed ordered a new screen and digitizer for my Motorola Moto X Pure and had it in within a couple days. By the time I came in with my phone it only took 45 minutes (with me distracting the tech while he worked) to remove the back, unscrew the frame, drop in the new screen and zip it back together. And that included the new tempered glass screen protector. I had some minor issues with the phone back adhesive not sticking and a pressure spot on the screen. I took it in a week later and in under an hour I had my phone back and looking good as new. Couldn't be happier with the service and attention to detail. Prices are VERY reasonable. The turnaround time is FAST--got in iPhone 5 screen replaced in 15 minutes with an OEM screen while having a pleasant chat with Richard. I did some browsing in the few minutes I was there and purchased a tempered glass screen protector and a shock-absorbing case. The owner of the iPhone is thrilled with the fix (our daughter accidentally bumped her friend's iPhone off a wall causing it to tumble 30 feet to the concrete below--ouch). My husband looked up the company's website (since I couldn't look it up myself due to the shattered screen) to see what pricing they had and he navigated through to the repairs section for the iPhone 7, which routes to the following URL - https://www.fruitfixed.com/iphone-7-repair/ From there, he saw an option for Screen/LCD Repairs with the price tag $200 listed below it. When he selected that option, he was routed to the following URL - https://www.fruitfixed.com/product/iphone-6-screenlcd-repair/ The iPhone 7 routes to a Screen/LCD Repairs product detail page that's priced at $95. It's easy for someone to misinterpret the 2 different prices as one being the original price and the 2nd (lower) price being a discounted price. The iPhone 7 Screen/LCD Repair product page was routing to the same service but for the iPhone 6. When I changed the "6" in the URL to a "7", it took me to the correct product detail page that should have been used on the website - https://www.fruitfixed.com/product/iphone-7-screenlcd-repair/ Turns out the $200 price displayed online for the iPhone 7 Screen/LCD Repair was the cost for an off-brand replacement screen that came with a 90 day warranty. Let me start by saying I'm one of those people who doesn't keep her phone in the safest of places or situations. My latest but not shocking mistake with my Iphone was to charge it at the pool, resting on a picnic table and leave it while I went to swim with my kids, with only the clear protective screen on it. Head back to my phone a bit later and find my phone fallen to the ground and cracked. Was it a squirrel that knocked it down, a gust of wind, or a curious but clumsy pool goer, I will never know. Took my son's MacBook Air in on a Saturday because it wasn't charging correctly and told them we needed it back quickly because he needed for a class he is taking. They said someone would be in touch with me within 24 hours. I had to call them on Sunday and was told they thought it was the charging port but they had ordered one and it would be midweek before it came in and then I would get a price to repair. I went and picked it up and took it somewhere else and had an estimate in 15 minutes and I picked it up on Tuesday afternoon in time to take it to my son before he went to class. First off, let me say they did a great job fixing the issue with my Samsung tablet being able to charge. On the other hand, when does it take two weeks in this day and age to have a part necessary for the fix to be shipped to the store. That is an awfully long time to be without my device. My screen has been broken for a few days and I didn't really have time to take it to the Apple Store to get fixed. I got off work late on Saturday evening and took a chance that they might be open based on a friends recommendation. To my surprise they are open until eight. When I walked in I was greeted very courteously buy one of their staff members. I told them about needing a new screen and asked if I could make an appointment for next week to come by and drop it off. I walked in with probably the worst situation that Fruit Fixed has ever experienced. And I was reassured it was the worst because all the staff agreed. Even with this daunting fear that I might have to purchase a new phone, I left my trust (and phone) with them. I handed them my phone shortly after noon. I checked in every couple of hours (I work down the street). Each visit I was impressed with the certainty and professionalism they projected. Justin was awesome and so were some of the younger guys working behind the counter. They did what they could do and more. Today, I have a phone that is like new after serious water damaged. After having another shop that isn't local "repair" our Toddler's cracked iPad screen, it was never the same. The iPad act as if it had a virus or something. Got screen fixed with Chinese parts total POS couldn't dial the 9 number whole time on the phone it was dialing numbers so got mad enough to throw phone and cracked screen. Took phone back to Fruit Fixed and they wouldn't fix anything due to cracked screen said no warranty offered to pay them for new everything except for junk LCD and still said had to pay them for another junk ass LCD told them forget and bought another new phone from Verizon . I called a couple companies around town trying to compare prices and FF pretty much was the winner with price and location. Came in and there were 2 phones that were getting fixed. Big fan of this place. They've successfully fixed a few of our devices. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I stopped by once because I thought my charging port was busted and they removed a piece of lint while we were talking (no charge), and another time they replaced the screen on an iPad mini that they had already repaired. The new screen had a dead spot, so they just offered to take it back in and replace it. No hassle. Just helpful.
