I'm a college student I need my computer, then I called and they said a few more days....okay great. Fast forward 2 WEEKS later I go in, finally get my computer and then lo and behold it's an extra 15$ than I was told? I had already paid 365$ so an extra 2$ is a lot more. Whatever I get it. I pay, I go home i try to use it. It does work, but something's off...weird in-fact, the first layer of my computer screen's plastic cover, the only layer they had to fix, nothing else, was barely attached. I mean my screen basically caught a waft of the rest of the computer. Fine. I call them back ask their warranty policy, they say: "we can look at it but if it's something we deem you did then we will charge you again." Uh? No! It's your job to fix it not mine. After reading the reviews of similar things happening with the exact same two men I decided to not bring it back and waste my time or money. Definitely not stopping here again.

Just left "Fruit Fixed" after bringing in my iPhone 5s that I had little and less hope for recovering. Screen was cracked so badly that the board beneath was exposed in 3 different places and had "blacked out", making the phone useless to me. I was convinced I would need to replace it entirely, but luckily a friend referred me to the repair shop in Carytown. Figured it couldn't hurt to look into it and popped in to inquire. 15 minutes later my phone looked brand new, with 100% functionality, for under $100. Richard, the tech on site, was knowledgeable and friendly to talk to. We made small talk while he replaced the screen and put on the tempered glass screen cover that I got at a reduced rate for purchasing at the time of getting the repairs done. As we were wrapping up the transaction, the owner (whose name I didn't catch) came in. He seemed genuinely interested in whether I was satisfied with my experience there. I passed on to him how impressed I was with both the timeliness and quality of the repairs, as well as Richard going above and beyond from a customer service aspect. He thanked me for the feedback and explained to me that while I could have gone elsewhere and saved about $15-$20, he uses the same parts Apple does rather than a cheaper alternative, giving Fruit Fixed a much higher quality of work. Made perfect sense to me. All in all, I couldn't have hoped for a better experience. For $95 and 15 minutes out of my day, Fruit Fixed saved me from having to pay full retail price (over $500 without an upgrade to cash in on) on replacing my phone. In fact, this review was written on the very phone that I had chalked up to being a lost cause. Thank you Richard and Fruit Fixed. Long story short, these are good guys doing great work efficiently and quickly. You won't get gouged on the price and won't waste your day away waiting. The set up. My girlfriend and I are having a great dinner. We finish up and proceed to the car. My girlfriend upon closing the car door slams her phone in the door as her phone was in her jacket pocket. To say the least the iPhone 5c was toast. Both the screen and LCD display were shot. This is the second iPhone 5c in two months she's destroyed. So needless to say her mood was blown and I was screwed. We went to gadget tech in regency and after being conned and given the run around I decided to explore other options. I came across Fruit Fixed in a google search and called the number. The business owner picked up the phone and was kind enough to speak to me while he was at dinner after business hours. He explained that his employee may still be there so he would call me back after calling him. Not 5 minutes passed without him calling me back explaining that his employee had in fact left. And then he said he would meet me at his storefront in order to fix my phone AND beat gadget techs price. This guy just gets business and his customer service is impeccable. They use completely genuine parts as well. We were in and out in 15 minutes without hurting my wallet but so bad. So in short this business took valuable time out of their personal lives to help a customer in need. I would be dumbfounded to hear anything different then the best of reviews of Fruit Fixed. I dropped my phone during an early morning gym sesh last week and knew immediately that I'd done some serious damage. I went to my carrier who advised that I could either buy a new phone or "go to one of those guys in the mall." I did in fact check out "those guys in the mall" but felt sketchy forking over the estimated $250 to a guy in a watch repair store and waiting four days for the proper equiptment to come in. I asked around and was referred to Justin by two different co-workers who were really pleased with his work. I walked into the store yesterday and met Justin who explained the damage--minus the tech speak so I could understand the issues. His prices for repair were clearly spelled out and on display (and more than $100 less) and I felt very comfortable handing over my device. Especially when he said it would only take 30 minutes! The other day I had a cracked blue iPhone 5c. I was in complete and utter turmoil. The phone worked fine but it was so cracked I was having trouble reading, typing, and seeing if the pictures I took came out good at all. This severely affected my snapchat game, this is when I knew I needed a change. I googled for anywhere that might be able to help me, and give me a low price. Alas! I found Fruit Fixed and went into the store as skeptical as a mouse contemplating whether or not to take the cheese from the trap. The technician was extremely nice and provided good information. He assured me that my selfy game would be back to in no time, so I knew I could trust him. I got my screen replaced very quickly, and he even took the time to clean the aux port, charging port, and speakers. I thought that was pretty neat. I would highly recommend getting your phone fixed here. I've had three separate incidents with my phone (dropping them and breaking the screens) and have gotten them fixed here each time. They have always come back looking brand new and function perfectly. The most recent phone break was with my new iPhone XS Max and I researched around to check pricing - Apple was going to charge an outrageous amount to repair my phone I almost didn't get it done. I contacted Justin and he went above and beyond to help me sort out my issue and provide me with all the information & pricing I would need. I sent the phone to their Carytown shop and they had it all fixed in 35-40 minutes and for WAY less then Apple. I wouldn't take my phone anywhere else to be repaired. I took my phone in to replace the screen and unfortunately it completely went black, the mother board I was told. All was lost. Zack the manager, told me to leave the phone with him and he would do whatever it took to restore or replace it. I mostly just wanted my pictures on the phone from a family reunion that summer.I had no clue what a cloud acct. was, so nothing was saved. Weeks went by and Zack would contact me continually, letting me know what was going on. I was so happy to get the call that my phone was restored and EVERYTHING was saved,contacts, pictures,videos, all of it! Thank you Zack for helping me! THE BEST! I had my screen repaired 2 weeks ago by a screen repair company that comes to you and even though I bought the warranty, when I cracked my screen for the second time yesterday they told me they couldn't fix it. I went to Fruit Fixed right before they closed and not only could they fix my phone but they stayed open just to do it. It took less than 15 minutes and, Richard, the guy who repaired my phone was super nice and explained everything to me as he did it. Fruit Fixed was $40 cheaper than the first repair service I used, way faster and apparently uses the correct parts which I learned the other company had not. I will definitely be going to Fruit Fixed for all future phone repair. I couldn't have been happier. read more

I really wanted to like this company. I took my iPad there to have the screen replaced. I had to leave it to be fixed which did not bother me at all. When I returned several days later they still did not have it ready. Similar to Michael B.'s situation, my iPad developed a hairline crack within one week of the repair without any trauma. I called and the person I spoke with was very sarcastic. I eventually agreed to bring my iPad back for repair at a reduced cost. I am now typing this from my iPad while looking at two new hairline cracks. The point is that the glass being used by Fruit Fixed is not good quality and the attitudes of the employees providing "customer service" leave a lot to be desired. read more

Dropped my brand new iPhone 6S and cracked the screen. Went into Fruit Fixed and was helped immediately. Not only were the workers quick, but they were incredibly friendly. You can leave your phone with them for a short period of time, or wait for it to be done because it generally only takes half an hour. I waited and watched them help several other customers, and the customer service was incredible. I feel confident in the job that they did and the materials that they used. It only took them about 15 minutes to fix my phone, although it was a fairly straight-forward repair. They even included a free case. Management and staff are unbelievable, and I will only be trusting my phone to them from now on. read more

Fruit Fix is awesome. I went in because my battery wouldn't charge. So they put a new battery in and realized it was the charging port. They put my old battery back in and had a new charging port assembled. All within a half hour or so. Dude was really friendly and I mentioned that my headphone jack had broken off inside of my phone (I could only talk on speaker and it was incredibly annoying). So I went down the street to grab something to eat and when I returned everything was up and running fine. It wasn't until I got home that I realized the technician had even fixed my headphone jack for FREE!! These guys are the bomb, I highly recommend. read more

I went to the Westchester Commons location today and was welcomed by Kaisar. The headphone jack had broken off in my iPad. He explained what he would do, how much it would cost and stated we'd discuss options if he was unable to get it out. I walked out and in less than 5 minutes he called to say it was out and the audio was working. I went to pay and he wouldn't even let me pay because it had taken so little of his time. I had never heard of this cleverly named repair shop till today. My boss had asked me to get his phone fixed in a timely and cost-effective manner. I called Fruit Fixed and Justin answered all my questions with enthusiasm. To my surprise I could get the phone fixed in twenty minutes at a great rate. Also, while I was waiting for the phone I overheard his conversation with other customers. Fruit Fixed is our go to place for quick, economical screen repairs for all of our Iphones. With teenagers with phones, we have cracked screens quite often and Fruit Fixed gets us back in working order quickly. On top of great, low cost, timely repairs, the staff is great! I have been coming to Fruit Fixed to get my iPhone fixed for my friends and family for years. I Have never experienced anything but great service. All repairs were guaranteed to be completed within 30 minutes and I was even allowed to watch as it was being repaired. This is a great company. First, my wife cracked the screen of her iPhone and they did a fast and quick job repairing it at a reasonable price. Exactly what you would hope for when dealing with a company. What puts them over the top was when I stopped by because my phone was charging and they took a quick look at the phone and realized I had gotten some lint into the charging port and cleaned it out free of charge. Found myself in a bind after accidentally running my wife's iphone 5C through the washing machine. What made matters worse was my wife and I were heading out of town soon and needed a quick fix. Justin was realistic on the phone and said he might not be able to do much - but fortunately, it was only a problem with the screen and he was able to replace it immediately. I cannot say enough about this company!!!! I was at the Hof and saw a guy in the FruitFixed shirt. My screen was faxed but I didn't want to interrupt his good time... Eventually after having a couple drinks myself I went up and asked him what it would take to repair that... Also offered to repair again, but after the escalation of this situation and dealing with staff at store on multiple occasions in-person and phone asking to have this done in the first place, we declined to use them to repair the cracked screen. Update: "Jeff", the manager reached out to repair via text, but we simply don't trust this business after visiting in person and then calling twice afterwards to have them replace in one day. Sorry, but we have never had a cracked phone screen in this household until we used your product. And it very well could have been cracked or dropped by your business since we noticed the cracks less than 18 hours after getting the phone back. It's a shame you couldn't replace it when we brought it to the store. Hopefully, a refund will be made since we gave you three chances to make it right. Steer clear! This place will swindle you. They do not honor warranty. Had a screen replaced because the touch aspect stopped working. Had phone for four years and never had a cracked screen. Less than 24 hours after getting it replaced, screen cracked and not by dropping. Paid $150 to replace the first time for an older Samsung Galaxy. Staff was rude and said they don't replace from phone drops, but if they opened phone they could tell if it was dropped or not. Hmmm, so I should believe them to tell me if the phone was or wasn't dropped? As it's an older phone (four years), I can guarantee it has been dropped a few times, so looks like an easy out for them to not cover warranty. They are either really bad at repairs or offer cheap replacement products to customers. Go to a more reputable place, like Computer Cave. They are honest and offer quality repair and products. Staff at this Fruit Fixed Store couldn't even tell me how much the part the cost or even acknowledge that glass can crack from cheap quality or improper repair. Save your money and repair elsewhere at a more reputable place.

They told me I need to replace the power supply as well as the graphics card even though my cpu has integrated graphics and has ran without a card before. It doesn't take over a week to get a part shipped, and it certainly doesn't take 2 weeks to find out what's wrong with it. Every step of the way they have either blown me off or told me I need to keep waiting. I won't be going back to this place and I recommend you find somewhere else to get repairs done. I'm still waiting on a call back for the tenth time now. Don't waste your time and money on this place.
