This place is slow as all get out! Then they had the nerve to tell me the fries were fresh. The guy with glasses and a shaved head that looked like a borderline serial killer wanted to give attitude about it. They were cold! I usually really like coming through to frugals. I've had a couple of odd interactions with spacey cash handlers, but the food is usually consistently good. When I ordered today, I placed my order: a number 4 with no onions and a root beer. (I waited till he prompted me for my next part) then I ordered a number 1 with only ketchup and mayonnaise and then two fry sauces. He started to repeat the order back to me, the 4 was correct but then he kept saying only sauce on the number 1. To which I said twice, I want ketchup and mayonnaise on it, but still he kept saying "only sauce". Before I pulled up I said, I wanted to make sure there is no mustard on the number 1. He said "just a second" so he can fix it. When I get to the window, he is busy with something so it was a bit before he took my payment and said the order to me. He said I ordered a 4 with no onion or mustard and a 1 with only sauce and two fry sauce. Again, I said I wanted the 1 with only ketchup and mayonnaise. He got mad and kept telling me that I said I wanted all sauces. It was a really weird interaction, because I definitely did not. I'm not sure if there is some issue with the microphone at the menu or what to make it difficult to hear. He closed the window almost all the way and told the lady who made the burgers that the 1 is supposed to only have ketchup and mayo. To which she replied "well, it's already made". Since I could hear them, and the boy was getting more flustered and rude as time was going by, I told them I'd take whatever they made and just scrape everything off. To which she responded "are you sure? I'm getting more buns going?". It was already an obvious inconvenience to remake what I had actually ordered since I'd heard them speaking when they did not think I could hear. I just wanted to leave. She then said they were training him that day. Which I get, training is hard and mistakes get made, so I would think you'd be prepared to remake some things to make the training a little easier and less stressful. I tried to explain to them that I wasn't mad, that he just needed to slow down a little bit and listen because I could hear him getting flustered even at the speaker box, to which he snapped back that he "wasn't flustered" and just "doesn't normally talk to people". It was just a lot of disappointing interactions all at once. I just wanted him to listen to what I was ordering. I'm familiar with receiving orders at my own work over a speaker box, so I always make sure to speak slowly and loud enough when ordering. Mustard doesn't even go on the 4, so that probably should have been an alert that something wasn't adding up with what he was typing. Maybe there should have been a designated person helping him through his orders. It was just a weird experience there, and I thought it could have been handled a bit differently. read more

Only complaint I have is when I ask for a mixed shake example chocolate strawberry, they dont do it half the time, they either give me one or the other.Military discounts only on Monday. Always fantastic food!! My favorites are the Pulled Pork Sandwich and Bacon Burger!!! Fries are amazing as well!!! My favorite shake is the Oreo Shake, the Peanut Butter isn't good at all in my opinion or maybe I got a bad one. They have 2 drive up windows and one of them is going to be on the passenger side. Lines do get long but well worth it! They offer a military discount with proper ID! Food is always fresh and hit (you can see them cook it!!!!) Always polite staff and work as fast as the grills can go to make sure everything is fresh and cooked to order! I usually get the Pulled Pork Sandwich with an Oreo Shake, fries and a coke! In the south there are burger places called Whataburger which have really good burgers and I always compared every burger to theirs until I had Frugals. Frugals knocks them out of the park! The burger has a great flavor that you don't get in most other burgers. I highly recommend them!
