A good lunch option to include in my Lamont/Arvin series. Frosty is a fast, casual burger, etc. joint in Lamont. The servers are polite and it's close to the office. There are plenty seats outside if you want to brave the heat or you can pull up into a space and gorge in your car under the AC. Either way, I think you'd find your lunch to be very affordable and freshly prepared. I got the grilled chicken salad that I normally get at Pop's. But since Pop's closed, I'm left with limited options in Lamont. Glad I tried Frosty and was satisfied with how the prepared the salad. read more

I ordered food via phone at 7:41 pm and they said it would be ready in 15 minutes. We went to pick it up and not only did they not have the order ready...they lost the order and never made it. If you want to lose business this is the perfect way to accomplish that. read more

I stopped in Lamont to grab something to eat and was delighted by this establishment. The workers were friendly and helpful in taking my order. Food was fantastic (order the #10 and thank me later). Zero complaints from me, I gotta admit this is my favorite of all of the frosty king burger joints. If you ever find yourself in the area definitely check it out. This is also the only burger place I know of that offers toreados aka fried jalapeños. Make sure to ask for one and put it in everything. read more

One of my favorite things about Frosty King is a vanilla ice cream cone double dipped in chocolate!! Yummm And it's a blast from my childhood I love that. Great burgers and fries and of course crushed ice I drink vanilla Pepsi's but you could have vanilla added to any flavor soda that you would like. read more

Scott's review sent us in the right direction. Like Scott, we were driving back to LA from the Kern River, though it was fall, not summer. Regardless, it's a way cooler place to eat than hitting the predictable chain. We split a Bacon Avocado Cheeseburger, which balanced the three main flavors nicely. No, the bacon wasn't spectacular and neither was the hamburger meat, but it was more than serviceable. For the godforsaken area it's in, it moves up to a five-stars (it would be 4 stars, maybe, in LA). Backing up the burger more than adequately were piping hot, delicious crinkle-cut fries. They weren't homemade, but they must have a good supplier and they were cooked right. Just the right crunch and potatoy goodness. I had a banana shake which was a bit too icy, but had good banana flavor. If you're stuck in that neighborhood, I doubt you'll do better (unless you want Mexican). Oh, and the girl and the window was very cute and friendly (though a bit shy). read more

WTH?!?! That was my overall mood while I had the misfortune of being here. The entire place is disgusting: the parking lot, the ordering window, the tables, and ESPECIALLY the "bathrooms"... Seriously I think I've used port-o-potties that were cleaner and didn't smell so bad... We got a banana split. Seriously took ten minutes to have the person acknowledge us to take our order. The icing on the cake was it took 15 minutes to get our banana split. Umm why would it take 15 minutes to make a banana split? Overall gross and so slow. I am extremely disappointed. I've been to this place before and there was delicious food. Although tonight I was greeted by a mess. The fries were barely seasoned and my jalapeño burger did not have any jalapeños. They also gave my order to some other guy, therefore having to redo my entire order. Those were unpleasant pictures of the hallway, ceiling, and sink shared by others, but upon my visits, I have not seen them. So I will judge only based on what I ate , experience, service and saw. Firstly, they are as fast as these places get. I love their speedy delivery of your order. Secondly, the food is great. I have not been disappointed once in what I've gotten. Third, from my view, the kitchen looked tidy and so did the eating areas both in and outside. And finally customer service is awesome. The soon as they see u, they do not make u wait. Shakes are amazing. Burgers to die for. Customer service outstanding. Inside they have arcade machines preety audated but still fun. I have been coming to this burger joing for almost 10 years. Called to order food and the young lady who took the call said they were closed even though it was 8:45pm and online it states they are open until 9:30pm. She was rude and then hung up on me. If you aren't going to be open until the time that you have posted online then you should make sure you change the hours.
