Breakfast review!…read more So happy we found this spot. A lot of the places making our way down from West Yellowstone were closed. The lady that sat us and took our order was very nice and had great customer service. Started out with drinks, coffee was solid. We ordered; breakfast platter, Denver omelette, French toast plate, and an order of single pancake and extra bacon. I personally had the French toast plate. It was pretty good, but definitely needed to add syrup. I usually have more of a cinnamoney French toast. The biscuit that came with the Denver omelette was delicious. Had a lot of space and actually pretty good for large parties. Bathrooms are super clean and they have baby changing station.

I ordered scrambled eggs and received a yellow and white colored, leathery disk tinged with brown. The pancake was flavorful but it soaked up syrup like a thirsty sponge. The only bright light was the attentive waitress. I would not recommend stopping here.

There was a chile and it was hot but tasted great. I had corn tortillas with mine as well. I was definitely full when I left. The restaurant is clean, and the service was good. It's telling that the framed review of how good the place on the wall is 10 years old. Big selection of food but none of it seemed appealing. I've been to lots of Mexican places before. But that's personal preference. Only 3 options for vegetarians. Got the Quesadilla with spicy pork and the pork was overcooked. The pork and lettuce tasted burnt and chewy. Gross aftertaste and it was obvious the food was all cooked from the same pan. Vegetarians were served meat and when told the waiter, was extremely dismissive and angry when told. Said it was mushroom rather than accepting the mistake. Turns out the waiter was the owner, which explained how defensive she got. Cross contamination like this could be dangerous. Extremely rude behavior, refused to make simple alterations to food, angrily dumped our plates on the table, trash talked us when confronted, and accused us of tampering with the food to create complaints. I liked the horchata, but everyone else who ordered it didn't like it. Everyone else's food seemed fine. But the treatment and the food some of us got wasn't good. Everyone left their food on the table because her behavior left us all uncomfortable and we decided to leave. I don't know what's going on in her life, but this wasn't an appropriate way to run a business. Reading all the reviews dating back years, it seems she's always been like this though.

Tell me why we waited 30 mins for her to assemble our dish, when everything was already made and packaged? She forgot the sauce we ordered on top of that and took another 20 minutes to bring those out. Horrible customer service aside, the brisket was literally cold and rock solid, so much that you can see the solidified fat within the meat. I honestly left sick and never wanting to eat again. So much for trying something new as a visitor in a new state.

We decided to sit at a table to review the menu before stepping to the counter to order. The people sitting around, got up, and went behind the counter. They were the workers. We felt like they were not happy we were there. We ordered a brisket sandwich, a pulled pork sandwich and the apple cobble ala mode. The food came out pretty fast. Nothing fancy. There was a good ratio of meat to the bun but the bun doesn't hold up to the sauce and meat. The meat was dry for our liking but we just do dumped more warm delicious bbq sauce on it. The cobble was more like an apple spice cake. It is served in a styrofoam bowl with a single serve ice cream cup and a couple spoons. Presentation was terrible but it was so yummy. We would probably eat here again if we ever end up in St Anthony again because it beat the other options. Be aware of the hours. Maybe call ahead and make sure they're open. If the weather permits, there is outside seating.
