Everything tasted fresh, comforting, and exactly what you want from a good breakfast spot. I also loved the atmosphere. It had that cozy, classic small town breakfast cafe feel that just fits West Yellowstone perfectly. It was busy and lively, but still felt warm and welcoming. The service was kind and quick, especially considering how busy they were. Stopped by Running Bear Pancake House during our Yellowstone trip and this ended up being such a cozy little breakfast stop. I ordered the breakfast burrito with sausage, green bell peppers, onions, and eggs with buttery hash browns on the side, plus the soup of the day which was the Tuscan soup, and both were really good. One of my friends ordered the cinnamon roll pancake, another got the classic breakfast with buffalo sausage (which was surprisingly delicious), and the other ordered a meatless breakfast burrito. Everything at the table looked fresh and hearty. I also loved how easy checkout was. They bring the receipt directly to the table with a QR code so paying was quick and convenient, and our server was super accommodating by splitting the bill four ways with no issue. The restaurant itself has that cute cozy cabin-style feel, plus they sell fun T-shirts and souvenirs inside. Extra shoutout for helping me wrap my breakfast burrito to go before our flight. They brought me foil paper so I could keep it warm, tossed it in my bag, and yep... I ended up eating it on the plane later. We arrived early, and although the place was virtually empty, the waitress insisted on seating us at a small table right in front of the register and entrance/exit to the kitchen. We had a party of 5, which ended up a bit hard to sit. But that wasn't entirely the staff's problem. Well went there on a recommendation and it was busy the service was kinda slow. Mostly everything was okay except we found hair in my wife's crepes. We told the server and had them remade. Now here is where things go really wrong. Being a chef that should not happen but mistakes will happen. But when you try to charge a customer for the dish you messed up and then when you drop the check and try to charge the person for the meal you messed up! Horrible customer service. The server she was totally rude when it's their fault. Honestly don't eat here unless you want them to mess up and have you pay for it!
