We visited on a weekend and it wasn't crowded, but parking is always limited here. Adams Mongolian Grill has a nice variety of veggies, meat (nothing unusual), sauces, and noodles to create your own culinary experience. Mine turned out good, but it all depends on how you flavor your bowl. I suggest going on the saucier side since the flavor cooks down. Avoid the sushi! I honestly wasn't surprised it was disappointing, but I wanted to try it...and was not impressed. Stick to the grill since that's what they do best. read more

I love Adams Mongolian grill. Lots of food for what you pay, the quality of the food itself doesn't very too much from similar Mongolian style grills. But there's nothing to complain about at all. Especially love, who I think might be one of the owners, she runs the front. She was so friendly to my wife and I as we ate, we went when it was extremely busy, and she went out of her way to come say hi to us multiple times and leave cookies at our table. You can tell she truly cares about the experience and wants it to be the best place in Rexburg. If you haven't gone, definitely go out of your way to go, you will not regret it read more

This is one of my favorite places to eat here in Rexburg! The woman who owns this place is always so pleasant and recognizes us. She and her husband are both super nice and go out of their way to talk to us and say hi. The employees are always nice and prepare the food very quickly. The ingredient bar is always fresh and stocked whenever we go, and the food is always delicious! You get a lot of food so it is definitely worth the price, and I love that you get to pick how you make your food. We've gone at lunch and dinner time and our experience has always been great. I have been to many Mongolian BBQ/Grills is sever states and this place is not typical. First of all, I will say the service was great! This place is totally different from any other one I have been to. First, they charge for everything. They have three sizes of bowls, and you pay accordingly. Second, you choose what you want as far as veggies only, veggies with meat, or veggies with meat and seafood. Each selection has a price. Third, there is a height limit on how much you can put into your bowl. They have your typical veggies as well as meats. Seafood is very limited. They have a good selection of sauces but nothing spicy. They had no peppers. As I said everything is extra. So if you want rice that costs more. And they had no bread. If you can't have spicy, what is the point. Prices are not to bad but considering the limits? Will I go back? Sometime but not soon. Two stars is based on the service only. read more

I've visited this place two times in the last couple months. The food is good, I'll give it that. You get good portions, but they take forever to restock the station where you actually pick out your bowl. Not only that, out of both of my visits here I've only seen one worker wearing any sort of headdress to prevent hair falling into food, the rest of the staff doesn't wear anything. No gloves, no hair net, no beard net, no nothing. I've also had the pleasure of finding hair in my food both times I've been here, and both times they've fought tooth and nail to do anything but give me my money back. Any other establishment that messes up when it comes to food safety will immediately comp your meal and/or give you a new plate. It's a shame since this place is again, actually pretty good, but the food safety practices not being followed are too obvious to not be more giving when they make a mistake. read more

This is a brand new place in a small town, which means it is going to attract attention no matter what. The food was honestly really good and we came in at the perfect time to have our food cooked quickly and not wait. It's fun to be able to choose your own food and create a delicious bowl. A few suggestions, from the restaurant, for tasty recipes above the serving line would be nice. Apart from the food I have a few discrepancies with how the restaurant is set up. Part of the appeal is seeing the chefs with giant sword / spatulas cooking your food like Mongolian warriors. They don't have those here sadly. The tables are pretty cheap and maybe adding table cloths even just paper would be nice. The chairs are lawn chairs, no joke. You aren't supposed to stack your bowl so they should just give you 1 bowl size and let you stack it. I don't want to give them a terrible rating because honestly the food was really good and opening a restaurant can be difficult. These are just some suggestions to maybe help them out. read more

We we're in town dropping my daughter off at school. We looked around for a "plant based diet" restaurant to take the family to. We found this place on Yelp and have it a try. The only reason this gets two stars instead of one is because the food actually tasted alright. If you've never been to another Mongolian grill before, don't come here. You will be highly disappointed. First of all, the amount of food you get for what you actually pay ($11 for a "medium" bowl) is pretty pathetic. At other places, you use the bowl ONLY for vegetables and meat, sometimes sauce and spices. Here, you have to factor in the carbs (3 types of noodles and no rice) into how much you are putting into the bowl. Other places usually give you the option of noodles/rice after you get to the grill. They also tell you here to not overfill the bowl, as if filling a bowl as high as you can isn't part of the Mongolian grill experience. They don't define how much is overfilling though, so i don't know how much more I could have added before anyone would have said something. The other thing- the meat. They give you the option of chicken, pork, beef, and sausage (there is a premium for seafood). Instead of raw, fresh looking meat, it's all strips of completely frozen meat. I wasn't quite happy about that, especially since they don't fit to the shape of the bowl, you kinda gotta stack it up on top of everything else. It made it harder to add the sauce. Also, they didn't label the meat. It wasn't too easy to tell the difference between pork and chicken. The service wasn't bad but it's nothing spectacular. The environment isn't great, it's just a bland white dining area. Basically, I just got back. I'm still hungry and my wallet definitely felt it. read more

My second visit to this place. Once again place wasn't that great the lady at the register that barely spoke English was rude! The cook doesn't know how to cook the food right he was struggling to even stir the food and the food was sticking to the grill. One of the waitresses there was extremely rude to me when I just asked 2 simple about if they had 2 things that I wanted with my order she seemed very annoyed for me asking and was very short and snappy with a lot of sass to add. The customer service was terrible. It took them 10 minutes to pay because they were so slow. Then we go to make our food and they are out of chicken. We asked someone for more chicken and they were totally out. My husband asked if he could substitute crab since the chicken was out and the manager said no. He didn't even get up from his seat to speak with us but talked to us from across the restaurant. Plus, the cook top wasn't on and it took them another 10 minutes to warm up the grill. Start to finish it took 30 minutes for us to get our food. I would not recommend this place to anyone!! The owner needs to step up and train his employees and managers better. My husband and I wanted to try something new for dinner and we were very happy with this place! Just make sure when you go to get plenty of what you want because you can fill these bowls up pretty nicely. The customer service was good and the food was delicious. Honestly, you could get the biggest bowl they have and pile it on, add some potstickers or spring rolls, and take that to go as a solid date night at home to share. While on vacation, we try not to stop at chain restaurants if at all possible. Luckily we found Adam's!!! Beyond good!! With Covid issues, we were worried about using a buffet type restaurant where other people are using the tongs and spoons. This place had disposable gloves for you to wear while using the community tongs. Also the server was wearing a mask. The place was very clean, even the bathrooms. I'm a stickler for bathrooms! I got a large bowl and my wife ordered the medium. I had leftovers, but she surprised herself and finished the whole thing. The flat top gentleman(possibly the owner) came over to talk to us about the food and where we were from. Always nice to have someone talk to you about your experience. The food here is fine, everything else though is pretty subpar. Decor is pretty much none existent, just a large open room with white walls. Portions are small for the price and they have signs posted everywhere claiming a $5 charge on any bowl over filled. The food selection is pretty limited in compared to other Mongolian grills. Seating and tables are lawn chairs and plastic fold out tables. In general if you are want Mongolian BBQ go to Idaho falls, the cost of gas and a meal still probably won't add up to cost of eating here. Note for owners: Maybe add lunch specials? Get rid of the whole $5 charge on "over filled" bowls. Could even go to a popular Mongolian BBQ and see what they are doing that people like. Good luck! read more

The place feels very cheap and not a lot of selection. Also they make you pay in advance, and the prices are way to high for the low quality of food and service. Also just days after the grand opening when I tried it out they had raw chicken just sitting out, not on ice not in a cooler, just raw, out in the open, chicken. Way too speedy and not nearly deserving of it. The hole in the way Mongolian Grill down in Idaho Falls is decently priced and very delicious! Try that place. read more
