They are a South Carolina inspired bbq and they did not disappoint!! I tried the bbq chicken, tri tip, and brisket and everything was awesome!! My favorite was the chicken, they smoke it for 5 hours and use both dry and wet rub. It was flavorful with nice texture and mouth feel. Not dry or over seasoned. The tritip hit more like a traditional brisket and the brisket more like pulled pork, but high notes all round. Of the sides I tried, between the potato salad, coleslaw, and fries, the fries were the star of the show!! I shared the platter with 3 other adults and a toddler and we were all impressed!! The service was lightening fast, and even the herbivore toddler loved the meat! This was truly a pleasant surprise and well worth a gander!!

The cheese curds were even better than when I remembered. But the brisket stacker felt wrong. The brisket was cut differently and honestly was a bit tough, and you used to be able to put on any bbq sauce since all the sauces were on the table, but this was prepared with another barbecue sauce. Did I have fun? Yes, was it hard for the memories not to match in my head? Totally. Will I be back to Rexburg? Probably not.

I'm spoiled by BBQ restaurants with Carolina style, sweet, heat, and more. They could also use a soda fountain, but they do give free water bottles which is a nice gesture.
