Best BBQ I've ever had! Fast courteous service, and nice BBQ ambiance and vibe. Whenever I'm in Rigby I'm definitely stopping by.

If good bar-be-que is what you are looking for Lil Mike's in Rigby, ID is the place to go. I like their brisket with their hot bar-be-que sauce. It is so good I don't want the bread to dilute the taste of the meats. The cole slaw and baked beans complement the meat. The dining room is casual with lots of seating. As I live in the Idaho Falls area it's worth the drive to Rigby for lunch or dinner. read more

I visited today and ordered some links -- the food was good and we enjoyed that part of our visit. Afterward, my daughter wanted ice cream, so we walked over to the ice cream area. When we asked about it, one of the staff members questioned whether ice cream was being served, and another person said no. The waitress then told me they were not serving ice cream, even though there was a sign on the door indicating that it was available. It was a bit disappointing, especially for my daughter who had her heart set on ice cream. Clearer communication or updated signage would help avoid confusion in the future. Overall, the food was good, but the inconsistency around the ice cream service left us with a less positive ending to our visit. read more

I'm truly not the biggest fan of Lil mikes. I've heard a lot from people that have lived in Rigby for quite a long time now that it used to be really good. I assume that's when guy fury came in and give his thumb up of approval. It's always super fun seeing restaurants that he's been to in the most random places. The meat itself was pretty bland, there wasn't too much special about the food we ate. In all honesty, the meal didn't fill me up. For what I got, though I feel like I paid an extremely fair price. I also had the nachos, those were not too bad. read more

Best place to eat in Rigby! Great food and fastest service around. We eat here all the time and have yet to be disappointed. 5 stars.

Clean, crafty, and delicious tasting brisket & jalapeño cheddar sausage! Mac & cheese delicious with the crisp cold weather. Employees were nice and they still had a static FM radio playing giving it that classic vibe and feel. Must try! Great space for families with strollers or kiddos. No area for dogs seen, but wasn't clear if dogs were allowed inside because no signs were visible. read more

Best BBQ I've had in Idaho! Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. I've eaten here a couple times now. Recommend the brisket. Favorite sauce is the hot, but a little secret: it's not actually hot but it has a nice kick. read more

I was visiting family in Rigby Idaho a place where I have never been so had to check out the local BBQ which is Lil Mikes. I had the brisket both lean and fatty, some links and their pork ribs. The brisket and links were good but the star of the show was the pork ribs. I am usually a brisket person so for the pork ribs to stand out they had to be great as their brisket was very tasty as well. I have tried lots of BBQ all over the country and grew up in Texas eating the very best Central Texas BBQ and this was up there and will definitely be coming back! read more

Lil' Mikes Smokin' BBQ - This is the loaded baked potato with brisket on top. A a little bit of bbq sauce. - Barbeque Near Me - Rigby, Idaho

WOW! Melt in your mouth delicious BBQ. Lil' Mike's BBQ is where it's at. This is a order at the counter style restaurant and seat yourself. Get there early because they sell out quickly and are only open until 7:00 PM. The restaurant was clean, neat and tidy. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The menu is clear and easy to read. Ordered the make your own meat platter with Brisket, pulled pork, corn salad and cole slaw. As well as the Big Mike's sandwich with smoky Mac and cheese. The brisket was tender, juicy and moist. The pulled pork was tender and delicious although it was a bit bland, not really any flavor, but mixed with the house BBQ sauce it was really good. The corn salad was a first for me, basically just corn, seasoning, mayo and corn chips. The cole slaw was a miss for me as it was too acidic and fell short of a sweet/creamy taste. The Big Mike's sandwich was a brisket with jalapeno sausage and was pretty good. The smoky mac and cheese was delicious although a bit on the salty side. Definitely worth the trip and a return visit. I did not use the restroom on this visit. My apologies for not providing any pictures as I was so hungry that I devoured my meal before I had a chance to get the camera out! Hopefully, next time I'll be more proactive. read more

Great local BBQ! The service was phenomenal! Very friendly staff. I would definitely come back next time I'm in town

So there I was, driving on the highway with me sun roof rolled open for the balmy 34 degree weather today. I could smell BBQ confidently advertising itself through Idahos crisp air. Looked to my right- and I beheld the origin of the scrumdidilyumptious scent. #Lil'MikesSmokin'BBQ I exited the highway and found myself parked at the storefront in a matter of seconds. Walked in, ordered, and received my food all under two minutes. Fantastic service and suggestions from staff. Let it be known here, this is a #hatsbackwards establishment. You just see the sandwich and know it deserves every square inch of real estate in front of your eyes. My taste buds are in the ER because these flavors are like a bad Ex girlfriend that you know you shouldn't go back to- abusive but oh so sweet. The only difference is that the sandwich costs less cash and actually improves my emotional state of being. Thank you Lil' Mikes. read more

This review is for the new Idaho Falls location. I went here today and got a brisket sandwich and some mac & cheese as a side. Not too overly impressed. Bun was dry and stale. Also, the brisket had no smoke flavor whatsoever. Not sure if I just caught them on an off day but I'm not sure I will be making a repeat visit. read more

Let's chat for a moment shall we? I am from Arkansas and in my home town is this amazing place called Wright's BBQ. Yep, that's right! Yelp top 100 winner and multiple awards because the place is DANG GOOD! Moving up north was not my first choice and I tend to avoid BBQ places because I just find pure disappointment. But Lil Mike's caught my eye. I was skeptical. Even watched this place from afar for years before I was even willing, but we made it as we were headed to the airport this last Thursday. We wanted a variety of meats so I got the pulled pork sandwich with the sausage and slaw. My husband got the brisket, sausage, and slaw. My daughter just got some Mac n cheese and corn bread. They were very kind despite us being there the moment they opened. They were incredibly patient as we picked apart the menu and discussed. Great atmosphere that honestly reminded me of the joints back home. Then we sat and ate. It was wonderful! Truly! Is it on the same level as wright's? No, but it is be far the best BBQ I have had in Idaho and I will be returning. Not to mention they don't charge more than you would expect of a BBQ place unlike many of the places around here with high prices and small portions. You could tell the family was originally from Texas from the accents and well, they actually know their BBQ! Thank you Lil Mike's for giving me a solid place to enjoy without having to fly all the way home. read more

We tried this place for the first time and will definitely be back! Great food, super clean facilities, and great staff. Thank you!

This place has a lot of hype being called out on a tv show. I've now been to this restaurant several times over the last two years and it's good. Would I say the best bbq I've ever had.. probably not for bbq restaurants around here in Idaho falls area is a strong competitor. I do think the Mac and cheese here is one of the highlights of the restaurant because some of the nice cut meats I'll be back many times it's also probably the best restaurant in Rigby if you are looking for something really good that's in town without going to Idaho falls. read more

This is a real deal treasure to have in Rigby Idaho. BBQ is expensive but their pricing is right in line with anyone and a little less than those in Idaho Falls. The meat itself is fabulous. You can tell a BBQ master has prepared it. This is just a treat to have here. You will not find better BBQ anywhere! read more

The food here is sooooooo good. Went here once before a wedding we traveled to Idaho for and I was really sad that we probably would never get to eat here again. I was so excited when fate brought us to Idaho falls for another short trip and we got to stop by for the best dang bbq I've ever had. The sampler is the best bang for your buck. We love love love their smoked Mac and cheese and it gets gobbled up by the kids come early, the good stuff sells out! read more

Reasonable prices and great bbq. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.

Just ordered a catered lunch for a local community club. They were quick and had everything boxed up and ready to go before we arrived. Food was hot. Smoked Mac n Cheese was delicious as always, the secret bbq sauce is finger-lock-in' good! We had the brisket and shredded pork. I love this place both for personal and business lunches. There is always a crowd at lunch. Pricing is a little more than fast food, but smoked meat isn't fast is it? Guy Fieri from Diners, Drive-ins and Dives stopped by unannounced on vacation at their place in West Yellowstone and loved it so much he had his crew come in and do a show. I can't begin to tell you how good this place is. Top notch bbq! Absolutely delicious!!! Go here!!

I had to drop by Idaho Falls from West Yellowstone and decided to stop by Lil Mike's after reading an article about the owners. The restaurant definitely has a Smokehouse feel to it as soon as you walk in. After talking to the employees about their recommendations and what the restaurant was known for I decided to try the brisket. I ordered a pound of the brisket and a hot link, cuz go big or go home, right? I also tried the slaw and the corn with a garden salad(needed some roughage. I did ask for some more fatty pieces and they didn't disappoint. There was a nice char to the outside with a good smoke ring. The meat was cooked very well. Not completely fall apart with a fork, but close. If you like some form to your meat without it disintegrating, you'll be happy with the consistency. The brisket was juicy and tender with a good crust. The hot link was pretty disappointing though, not much heat. The slaw was light, not too sweet or overpowering with too much mayo. The corn was topped with a layer of spicy Fritos which is really nice. If you're in the area, definitely stop by. There's also a location in west yellowstone if you're staying near the park. The staff were very friendly and eager to help. I would highly recommend this Spotify any carnivores. read more

Not gonna lie- surprised that this much flavor exists in lil ole Rigby.... and I love it! Their brisket is my favorite! Such good flavors! and their BBQ sauces are the icing on the cake! Not too keen on their sides, but their BBQ meat is enough to seal the deal. Love that we can come in, grab some bbq and a beer, and enjoy some country music. I would recommend their brisket and/or their smoked sausage. This is definitely a gem in the Idaho Falls area. read more

We were traveling so we happen to fall upon this lil place. The kids at the counter were so nice and helpful. Everything was immaculate and the food...OMG! My kids had the pulled pork nachos...top notch. We will absolutely come back next time. read more

Lil' Mikes Smokin' BBQ - Exterior - Barbeque Near Me - Rigby, Idaho

Best BBQ place in the country and I've been all over North Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. The brisket is the best anywhere. Ribs and pulled pork are incredible too. Hard to believe little Rigby, Idaho has such a great bbq place. But the have one in Ammon, ID now too, and the twin brother restaurant called, Firehole in West Yellowstone has the same menu and owners. All 3 places are awesome. read more

The ribs are top notch! Brisket is good too! The coleslaw is great! Avoid the cornbread it is dry and tasteless! The corn salad is made with canned corn, so it is lack luster and could be greatly improved using fresh or frozen corn! If you ask for extra butter and sour cream the loaded potato rocks! read more
