My two sisters and I had reservations for 7:30 p.m. Once we were seated, our server took great care of us. We started with the shrimp appetizer, which we loved--the flavors were spot on, and the texture was perfect. The blackberry mojito was refreshing and well-balanced. My sister and I ordered the steak, while my other sister ordered the salmon. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were also delicious. Every item we ordered came out promptly and was clearly prepared with care. It's evident that the staff and chef take great pride in the food and drinks they serve.

Went for the crème brûlée, but stayed for the warm welcome and delicious food. I was in town for a short trip and decided to try this place because it has one of my favorite desserts and had good reviews. I didn't have a reservation, but the house manager was incredibly accommodating and found a place for me. Pros and cons of what I had: - Pear and Cashew Salad: Great flavor and I gobbled it up. If I had to knit-pick, I'd say the mixed greens needed to be spun dry a bit more before assembling, but it was very good. - Flat Iron Steak w/Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Mixed Greens: So good. I opted to leave out the mushrooms, but the flavor of the sauce was still delicious and didn't overpower the steak. You even had seared bits of steak on a few pieces...yum. Delicious all around. - Crème Brûlée: Very good flavor, as I like mine a bit more rich than fully of vanilla bean. The only con would be it was not cooked through and had not set up all the way. The top was perfectly seared, though, with a very nice texture and not like some places that leave what is seemingly stained glass on top. All in all I had a great meal and will definitely recommend. Special shout out to Beverly, my server/hostess. She was incredibly friendly and attentive to my needs and preferences. Thanks! See you next tim

We stopped by on our way to Yellowstone and I'm so glad we did. I had prosciutto wrapped Tiger Shrimp with a Crab sauce served over Orzo. My husband had a Ribeye Steak as big as his plate. The ambience is beautiful, serene and calm. The service impeccable. The food was so fresh and so delicious. My husband's French Onion Soup was the best I've ever tasted. I should have gotten it. The Aldente' seasoned vegetables were so fresh. We met the owner and she said her husband is the Chef. They make a great team. If you find yourself in Idaho Falls stop in. Then you can walk around the falls to walk off dinner.

My wife and I tried Copper Rill for the first time for our Anniversary. From the second we walked in the door we were greeted and wished Happy Anniversary. The whole night was fantastic, with amazing service and delicious food. We will definitely be back to our favorite restaurant in IF.

Chicken Wellington. Would prefer beef. But it was good.

Had a nice dinner with family while in town. Service was a bit slow and the server mentioned a few times our wait time and that there's other tables ahead of us, which we thought odd. Never had that told to me ever in my life. But it was a weekend night. Tiny salads as your sides. Rolls were just ok. French onion soup was good. Entrees were quite tasty. Nothing amazing about the mashed potatoes. Veggies side was small. Black and blue filet was good. Be aware it's spicy. Lamb was good too. Our table for 5 was a big table that could hold 8. Family felt too far away. Great servers. Very attentive. Would definitely return. Only weird thing was the snow blower in the corner near our table. Maybe not ideal inside a restaurant. Owner was friendly and checked on us a few times. I think if you went, you'd have a lovely meal.

Relying on my Yelp! Peeps for a place to eat in Idaho Falls. This charming little spot was a great find! Drewe was attentive and quick to notice that the Copper Rill lemonade I ordered was a little strong (I did order a double) and brought me a small glass of lemonade to dilute it. Yummy! Crab cake appetizers were great. My husband loved his Italian Sausage pasta. My Rosemary chicken salad was crisp and tasty. The restaurant itself is spotless and was busy for a Tuesday so I am guessing it's popular with the locals. Definitely recommend!

    Yummy pork ribeye.

In looking for a nice restaurant for an anniversary meal, I saw the reviews, and decided to give it a try. The reviewers are right. Our server MacKenzie, was very attentive, as were the other servers I saw. I had the bone in pork ribeye, which was huge and was cooked perfectly. My wife ordered the haddock with crab topping. It too was yummy. I considered the prices reasonable, including the drinks. If we are in the area again , we will definitely visit them again.

Fantastic restaurant with great ambiance and service! We got the chicken wellington stuffed with mushroom and the sauteed shrimp and chicken tossed in pasta with lobster sauce. Both dishes were absolutely delicious! My favorite was the pasta - the lobster sauce was definitely the highlight and really added that extra punch to the dish.

April 2026 Idaho Falls, Idaho…read more I was surprised to see this place is attached to a hotel when I drove up. Typically I do not eat at restaurants that are attached to a hotel. However, Yelp told me it was a 4.3 star place to eat. I asked if they had any nonalcoholic beers. The waiter brings me a can of beer to show me what it is. When I tell him that I will have it. He says well I'll just take it back and put it in a glass. So they bring me a 16 ounce glass with the beer poured in and it only filled 12 ounces. I ordered the Nacho Mama's Dip. It is a chicken nacho dip. The waiter told me it was a large portion so I am eating that just as my meal. My husband ordered the fish and chips. When you walk in the front door, the bar is right there. Pretty large bar for one to sit and enjoy a drink or a meal. To the right our booths and high tables that line the wall as well as some booths in the middle of the restaurant that make you feel like you are sitting under a gazebo. There are tables and booths on the far wall as well. The tables are cut to appear like a live edge wood top table. The booths sit too low and the table sits high. Even my husband who is 6'2 felt an imbalance with the table to chair. My nachos come out and the cheese sauce is dripping off the side of the dish. It is an absolute mess. The nacho chips are off to the side. The toppings consist of black olives and onions with four pieces of diced tomatoes. Accompanied by a side plastic dish is salsa, sour cream, and guacamole. The guacamole is definitely not homemade. My biggest complaint is the cheese sauce is definitely from a can. The cheese that they did put on the nachos was a slice of cheese that was not even melted. See picture. Reminds me that I am eating in a restaurant attached to a hotel. There are no beans. The chicken is mixed in with the cheese sauce. And it is sparingly there. This dish is absolutely disgusting! The fish and chips were terrible. They're served in a basket with four pieces of fish and they sit upon fresh cut fries. The fish was not good. The batter has a odd taste. Perhaps the oil it is fried in? I think I would've been better off going to Culver's and having their fish platter. Although my beYr was in a can, it was very cold. It was truly the best part of my meal. I am so disappointed that yelp led me to this place. This is my warning to others. Stay away. We had two completely different meals and neither of them were good.

WHAT HAPPENED: When they're busy, they typically don't have enough servers on. This was something we had already been warned about, and got to witness it first hand. Also, without informing us, they charge for soda refills! Seems as if the server was padding the check, because we had three young kids with us, and they drink soda. I had a couple of beers that I expected to be charged for, but my other half's coffee refills? I mean come on. The place is overly priced to begin with, the food was not fantastic. They were riding on their legacy name. Surviving by tourist seasons of the Innocent unsuspecting. I only gave two stars because I can't say the food was bad, I can only say that the experience was not worth the bill. To be fair, I did see the prices before we ordered and did not hesitate. Everyone was a big fan of the restaurant and had nothing but great things to say and recommend. We had the Noodle Salad and it was the best of that type of salad that we have ever had. Others praised the steaks and prime rib, which we plan on trying tonight (yup, we're going back right away). It's the perfect spot for hearty, traditional Midwestern comfort food. After all, how can you visit Potato Country without enjoying at least one perfectly baked potato? A little fun (and mostly useless) fact: Potatoes are typically harvested once a year in the fall and stored in underground bunkers. The ones you usually buy in stores are often nearly a year old. And if a potato starts to sprout? It simply becomes part of the next season's crop. The moment you walk in, it feels like stepping into a time machine. The interior is warm and cozy, with darker tones, rich red accents, wood-paneled walls, and glass partitions. There's even a mud room and a coat rack ready for those chilly Idaho winter nights. We were greeted and seated almost immediately. Our server introduced herself right away and took our drink orders with a smile. I went with the Ultimate Philly--tender, well-done strips of their famous prime rib, grilled onions and peppers, all smothered in a rich cheese sauce. It came with a side of au jus for dipping and your choice of side. I couldn't resist ordering the Jaker's Baker, a massive Idaho potato loaded with all the toppings. The prime rib was flavorful and juicy, and the baked potato was hearty and satisfying--the ultimate classic meat-and-potatoes meal. When I travel, I love experiencing local flavor, and Jakers delivers exactly that.

That made us a little nervous, but also so excited . Once inside that nervousness is quickly replaced by friendly people. You can immediately feel that it's a real local favorite. Everybody's eyes are on you when you enter, but that is definitely not to make you uncomfortable. They are smiling and welcoming. You're offered boisterous warm greetings, with that welcome home feel. With stools at the counter, some very big tables and chairs sitting off to the left for big parties to sit at, and booths for the typical size party, the seating was perfectly spaced and comfortable. It truly allowed for tables of regulars to intermingle. It was definitely rustic, folksy and the people were all friendly regulars like they were co-owners. The artwork on the wall was just so--cow hand and ranch family murals. I truly expected John Wayne any moment to come drawling in and tell me, "I think you need to sit down, partner." We chose a booth, sat down, and were greeted quickly by the most humble and sweet young lady who was our--No, THE server approaching us very quickly to take our drink order, and explain the small menu to us. The small basic menu was one page--That was it. Having mostly the basics to choose from, I chose a nice sausage patty, and three scrambled eggs with cheese and onions. We were half expecting half effort food--boy were we wrong. I also couldn't help myself I had to order one of these fresh made goods displayed on that board. Knowing that it was a side to my already ordered dish, I asked my server. "How big is a slice of banana cream pie, is it a good side." Lol..." Yeah it's not that big" well I should have known by the Texas feel of the local little diner. When the cream pie came out I could have eaten it for both breakfast and lunch and been plenty full lol. It occupied my every thought, with fresh bananas and cream, a smothering of whipped cream over the top, and a perfect semi-sweet crumbly crust, I devoured it quickly! The fresh cracked eggs, not overly greasy from frying up on an overworked grill, and the flavorful sausage combined with what seemed to be hand grated potato hash browns, mixed with onions cheese and spices. This was a classic downhome cooked meal. It was easy to tell why the place was filling up with customers quickly. It didn't get too crowded, but the patrons definitely tripled by the time we were finished with our meal. The server was friendly and handled all of the orders expertly, and lol, her little boy brought the dishes out to the table for you. It started to feel more like eating at a B&B. And the food is amazing--you have to go here. That board that I was telling you about, more fresh made foods were being written on the board while we were eating --the menu lived. This was an amazing experience, with rustic artwork all over the walls, friendly people willing to scoot over so that we can take pictures. We will definitely be back here.
