    Cod dinner
    Jonas R.

Our server was wonderful! She was sweet, efficient and very attentive to detail. Answered all my questions with patience and grace. I had pancakes which were perfect! Fluffy and delicious! BUT-they don't serve real butter or real maple syrup. They serve a butter blend and cheap syrup. Ugh! My husband had the cheese sticks and the cod dinner. The fries were coated with something that held the dirty grease taste. He said the fish was fine but not great. It seemed like everything came off the back of a SYSCO truck. I think the breakfast would be better than the dinner. But that's just speculation. The atmosphere was dated and janky in many ways. Like a step back in time. The toilet stalls are too small. I hate having to brush up against the bowl just to get in the stall. Over all-not great but I've had worse. Our waitress was the best part of our experience! Didn't catch her name-wish I had.

    Ham breakfast

I saw an order of biscuits and gravy and was shocked at how big their portions were. Before I sat down, I knew this was something I wanted to order. After spending a few minutes on the menu, I quickly changed my mind and went for the chicken fried steak. I wanted the biscuit and gravy as an additional side as a half portion. The server let me know that what they're bringing out is the only portion (which was really big). The locals who sat by us at the bar let us know that the biscuit I keep seeing used to be the half portion! I can't imagine how anyone can finish it unless the whole family is sharing it. The environment is very busy and friendly. Although it's located across the street from a motel 6, there's tons of locals that stop by where the servers know them by name. The locals I mentioned earlier, the wife met her husband here while she was waiting tables. They been going there for over 30 years. The husband treats this diner as his "bar" since all of his friends are here. Such a friendly place to stop by if you need a pit stop and friendly faces. I ordered the country fried steak and it's amazing!!!! The breading was light and the gravy was thick! I'm weird, but I like to also dip this in ranch. Pancakes were huge and fluffy even after being drowned in syrup. My boyfriend ordered the ham breakfast and he loved it. He normally gets the corned beef and hash, but realized it came from a can. It's one of their best sellers on the menu, but he passed. The ham really filled him up and he did prefer my dish instead.

Food quality is good for a coffee shop .... Service is horribly slow... waiting over 45 minutes for breakfast food is unacceptable in my opinion... empty glasses and coffee cups all breakfast long.

Great food and service at O'brady's. Stopped in with the family for breakfast. Ate at the counter. Joint was hopping. I enjoyed the sirloin and Swiss omelet. It was served with hash browns. So yummy. I also ordered a warm biscuit in the side. Check them out. Open daily from 7-3

I like this restaurant, big portions and friendly staff. I just can't tell when they will be open. was there again this week and wanted breakfast Tuesday morning. No one there at 7am or 8am. I an not sure when they are open and not open. Last month they were open in the evening, but were full at 630pm and I had to skip...

You definitely get a lot of food for your money! Cute, well-maintained café. Interior could definitely use an update, but very clean and all of the staff is extremely friendly. The quality for the steak was surprisingly good. Very thick and tender, little fat at all and extremely juicy. The Childrens plate was a bit disappointing with the facts that the " steak" ground chuck patty, was covered in salt and pepper. It was extremely overwhelming and of course kid would not eat it, I couldn't even eat it.

Great local spot to go to at an easy to find location. Food was homemade and not complaints here. Not sure if I'll be passing through the area again but if so I'll remember to stop here.

Stopped in on our way through, and it was very pleasant place to eat. The place was busy and we still had very good service. They where quick to get us menus and our drinks. The atmosphere was so nice and made you feel at home. The food was amazing the chicken fried steak and eggs was mouth watering and very filling. We also ordered a Ruben burger. Was also amazing according to my co worker. Price was reasonable and I would go back when I'm passing through.

Nice diner with great service, our server was very friendly and pleasant. Breakfast is always served and like most diners can get lunch items too with the exception of a couple things anytime as well. The food was fresh and came as ordered and good as well. Most of all it's right off the highway so it's a good stop on your way through.

The food was good, but it was not worth the experience. If we knew it would take so long we would have gone somewhere else. The outside seating is comprised of patio tables and chairs lining the exterior of the restaurant. It was nice at first, but there's a bee that likes to fly around which even the server was familiar with. We did outdoor seating and getting there at sunset we were sitting there in the dark with barely any light by the time our food arrived (almost two hours to get all our food for a party of four - 4 entrees and 2 appetizers total). The service was friendly but it was awkward seeing some people getting served even when they were seated after us. I loved the chicken wellington and would say that is the most unique dish at their restaurant. The food is overall good quality but this restaurant is probably better catered for pairs who are looking to celebrate a special event together. Indoor seating preferred over Outdoor seating.

We followed it with the corned beef soup, which was more like a rich, hearty stew. The tender brisket literally melted in your mouth. And for the potato lovers--this place is heaven! April 2026 Idaho Falls, Idaho…read more I was surprised to see this place is attached to a hotel when I drove up. Typically I do not eat at restaurants that are attached to a hotel. However, Yelp told me it was a 4.3 star place to eat. I asked if they had any nonalcoholic beers. The waiter brings me a can of beer to show me what it is. When I tell him that I will have it. He says well I'll just take it back and put it in a glass. So they bring me a 16 ounce glass with the beer poured in and it only filled 12 ounces. I ordered the Nacho Mama's Dip. It is a chicken nacho dip. The waiter told me it was a large portion so I am eating that just as my meal. My husband ordered the fish and chips. When you walk in the front door, the bar is right there. Pretty large bar for one to sit and enjoy a drink or a meal. To the right our booths and high tables that line the wall as well as some booths in the middle of the restaurant that make you feel like you are sitting under a gazebo. There are tables and booths on the far wall as well. The tables are cut to appear like a live edge wood top table. The booths sit too low and the table sits high. Even my husband who is 6'2 felt an imbalance with the table to chair. My nachos come out and the cheese sauce is dripping off the side of the dish. It is an absolute mess. The nacho chips are off to the side. The toppings consist of black olives and onions with four pieces of diced tomatoes. Accompanied by a side plastic dish is salsa, sour cream, and guacamole. The guacamole is definitely not homemade. My biggest complaint is the cheese sauce is definitely from a can. The cheese that they did put on the nachos was a slice of cheese that was not even melted. See picture. Reminds me that I am eating in a restaurant attached to a hotel. There are no beans. The chicken is mixed in with the cheese sauce. And it is sparingly there. This dish is absolutely disgusting! The fish and chips were terrible. They're served in a basket with four pieces of fish and they sit upon fresh cut fries. The fish was not good. The batter has a odd taste. Perhaps the oil it is fried in? I think I would've been better off going to Culver's and having their fish platter. Although my beYr was in a can, it was very cold. It was truly the best part of my meal. I am so disappointed that yelp led me to this place. This is my warning to others. Stay away. We had two completely different meals and neither of them were good.

The waiter was a young man who needs some more waiter skills. When my wife ordered some wine samples the bar tender poured them, and the waiter took it upon himself to take several strong sniffs of the glass. How WRONG is that! I ordered a 16oz Prime Rib and even asked the waiter if he felt confident, he could recommend it. He said absolutely. He brought out a Caesar Salad first and let me tell ya. I'm pretty sure the dressing came out of a bottle; the croutons came out of a bag (sorry I'm used to getting in house made croutons at decent restaurants). Then came the Prime Rib. It darned sure was NOT 16oz as I get them all the time and this was thinner and smaller. Then came the bad news. It was full of sinew and fat and worst of all I demonstrated to the waiter how one couldn't even chew it as it was tough as shoe leather and a knife and fork could not tear it apart. He offered to replace it with their Halibut which my wife ordered, and I had a bite of. The piece he delivered was about at least 30% smaller than hers. They were NOT winning any awards so far. My wife complained to me the fish was overcooked and dry. Finally, I finished with a Creme Brule which is one of my favorite desserts of all time (the finest is at a place in Spokane called Klinkindaggers). It had virtually NO vanilla bean flavor as it is supposed to have. I happen to be a "foodie" and am familar with some of the finer places to eat in Idaho. This one is one you should take a pass on. There are so many other options in Idaho Falls and at least have decent food. Definitely NOT worth their prices either that's for sure.
